As is often the case, I look for low cost high-value restaurants. With that in mind, Doreen’s is 5-stars
Had the sausage & jalapeño pizza and the chicken (breaded) parmesan sandwich.
Pizza: Crispy crust and generous amount of flavorful sauce and cheese. The jalapeño adds that much more zing to put this slice right over the top.
Chicken Parmesan: Nice thick cut of chicken with light breading. The round roll is tasty fresh and hot. Tangy sauce and good amount of cheese. Tasty!
All-around fine place with great prices. The counter employees were very nice, and that’s always a bonus.

I ordered for delivery a half hour before close. I kind of expected them to not still be delivering, or at least to give me a hard time about ordering so late but the man answering the phone was really friendly. Delivery driver was also terrific, and the pizza arrived in half the quoted time. I’ve had some pretty terrible (inedible) pizza in this neighborhood, and I was relieved that my order from Doreen’s was hot, fresh and perfectly delicious. I would definitely order again.

Good pizza from a great business family. Their crust is always crispy and their ingredients always fresh. They’ve been in the business a long time and certainly know how to do things correctly. Try the double crust or the super thin crust (both well done). You can’t go wrong. Also, the drago-bobs and the fried chicken are awesome!

Had it for the first time yesterday! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Will definitely be ordering it again.
My only complaint would be with a lady at the counter. I asked her for the daily special (which was a free 2 liter of pop). (My wife wanted it, I don’t care much for pop). I asked for it and she said that I had to order it when i called in my order. I was sad, so I asked another waitress and she fixed the confusion and let me have the pop. Not a big deal, just remember to mention any specials when you order.
Love it! Will be back!

Great deep dish pizza and great everything else! Great good at a good price. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and all of it is good so far. Never had anything that I hated there. Never dined in though, I always get delivery. Delivery can sometimes take a bit, but still good. It’s my go-to pizza place in dyer.

Good crust, good sauce, good toppings and great service. This is my go to pizza place. I only would like it better if they opened at 11:00 Sunday morning to have the food before DA BEARS games.

Doreen’s pizza is pretty tasty, the inside of the eatery is very small so no large groups! They have seating outside in the summer which is nice. On the inside they do have a tv and an obnoxious mural. They have a pretty standard menu and the pizza is pretty tasty.

When you travel for work a lot, sometimes all you want for a meal is to grab something and take it back to the room instead of eating out. A take-out pizza fills the bill nicely, but too often the pizza is too big to finish. Yes; you are on the company dime, but you hate to throw out two thirds of a pizza. Even with a refrigerator in the room, you might not appreciate cold pizza, which I don’t care for.
Why all this talk of pizza size? Doreen’s offers a small pizza with four slices, just enough for a meal. I have only had their pizza once but would go back again. The sausage pizza had spicy sausage underneath the cheese and made for a good meal back in the hotel room.
Doreen’s has a more extensive menu that I would want to try in the future. The place is pretty small, but that was a non-issue because I had no plans to eat on site.

Price– good bang for your buck

Crust!- taste it and find out
