Iuccio’s Pizza

First time ordering pizza here. just wanted to try somewhere new. They said 1 hour 15mn for delivery and got our pizza within 45mn… that’s a plus! (We do live pretty close though). Loved the cheese that they used. we could tell it was good quality. The sausage was nice and garlicky but not overly. this is a double bonus in my opinion. Sauce was sweet and perfectly balanced. We would have given it 5 stars if the crust was crisper… it was a bit too soggy and it was also pretty greasy but half of the pizza was pepperoni so that could be why. Maybe cook them 5 or 6mn longer and I bet it would be perfect! Overall we will order again =)

We had the thin crust pizza which was pretty good but I was not impressed with most of the staff. We were the only people dining in the restaurant. I spilled my drink and one of the staff just watched me as tried to clean it up. The rest of the staff just hung out in the front talking to each other. I don’t think we will be back.

Call ahead… far, far ahead! The food is very good, but to say it takes forever is a dramatic understatement. It isn’t the waiters that take forever, but the food itself. It is very quiet in there and, sometimes, you’ll actually find your party is the only people in there.

Remarkably slow for pretty good food. We went there with a big group thinking it would be a quiet place to talk. Boy were we right. No liquor license but the pizza was good, salad portions enormous and service was hospitable if a bit slow. Overall pretty good. I think more locals should give it a shot.

What great food and a very friendly atmosphere. My sister tried it first and told us about it and we have been going there a couple times a week now. Great Pizza and we have had a lot of pizzas!!! This is the best pizza in town and the sandwiches are great also. My dad had the meatball sandwich and said it was the best he ever had!!! Very nice inside and everyone is super friendly!!! We always ask for the pizza well done tho and its perfect every time. Have to give it a try!!! We are all Italian too so we know our food :)

First we tired some pasta and sandwiches… they were just alright. My pasta was way over cooked and the one meatball I got had way to. Uh garlic powder.
Second time we tried the pizza… what a difference! It is now my favorite! The sauce is sweet, although i Don’t think as much as Aurelio’s (as someone else mentioned)

The inside of the restaurant I very nice too, thought we did carry out both times.
With so many choices for pizza in dyer this should be top on your list!

Good pizza. Everyone was very friendly. Small beer selection. Wish they had draft beer. They will have to be consistently good to succeed since there are several other pizza places within a very close radius.

This was the WORST experience ever!!! We will never come here again. We called in our order & when we got there to pick it up they had «LOST» it!?! How exactly does one loose a customers order??? The owner was called & all they did was give us a discount. If they hadn’t already made us pay for the food I’d have left right then & there. 35 minutes later we leave with food that still wasn’t right!!! What a bunch of idiots.

We stopped at Iuccio’s on New Year’s Eve and it was empty. Not a good sign. They don’t serve alcohol — almost a deal breaker for me — but we stayed for a quick bite. GOOD CHOICE. We shared a small tossed salad at $ 3.75. It was fresh if a bit dull with iceberg lettuce and HUGE! The two of us could barely finish it and we were not charged the .40 for the extra dressing.
Our pizza took a while and it was worth the wait. I ordered the small veggie at $ 6.50 with light sauce and extra crispy. It was delicious and prepared exactly as requested. My husband had the Italian beef with sweet peppers ($ 6.50) and garlic fries ($ 1.85). Beverages were $ 1.95 and refillable.
We were offered free dessert because it was NYE. The champagne cake was excellent — sweet and moist.
This is a second location (original is located in Steger. I’ll try the original but will absolutely return to the Dyer location.
