There are better managed outlets of this chain. There were way too many people running around behind the counter to lead to such slow service. And if I die tonight of sodium bloat, it’s from those fries. But, bottom line: It’s called Fast Food for a reason, and this one has failed me twice on that point.

This weekend I got to watch Bert Blyleven get inducted in to the National Baseball Hall of Fame with Roberto Alomar and Pat Gillick in Cooperstown, New York and eat a great hamburger that was freshly made. Area Wendy’s like this one continue its partnership with Bert Blyleven and the Minnesota Twins by offering Bert’s Burger Two fresh beef patties, special signature sauce, two pieces of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and red onions. You can also get reprints of Bert’s baseball cards by Topps with a donation of $ 1 to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. So stop by and pickup one or more of these great tasting burgers like I did and enjoy it while helping a good cause the National Parkinson Foundation of Minnesota.

I need to find another Wendy’s. I like the burgers, but the wait times are ridiculous. The past three times I have gone here during lunch, Noon — 1, I have to wait three — seven minutes for my burger. They take your order and immediately get the fries and drink on your tray, but by the time you get your burger the fries are starting to get cold. The«Free» WiFi is slow and interrupts my ATT service, so I am somewhat dead in the water to the Internet.
