$ 20 for a pitcher of domestic beer! You have lost your mind and lost good customers.

Best pizza in East Haven. The eggplant pizza or broccoli and garlic white are the best I’ve ever had anywhere.

This review is for tollis pizza in east haven. Terrible. Ordered the margherita which is supposed to be fresh tomatoes basil and mozz. A large cost twenty two dollars plus tip and had enough toppings for one slice. We are staying at a local hotel, had it dellivered, and would have sent it back if able. Twenty two dollars plus is a lot for what amounted to a thin crust piece of pizza dough. We are here for another week annd will make sure to let our motel know they should take this crappy eatery off their list. We visit this area often because of family and will never eat here again.

I’m biased because I got married there. Seriously. Small affair, JP in front of a buffet. But I picked it because it has consistently good food at low prices. Go for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon, between 11am-3pm. Crystal is the best waitress, fast and sweet. She is genuinely happy you’re there, remembers everyone she’s ever met, and everything you’ve ever ordered. We got a lunch special pizza with mushrooms, and the arugula salad(with the grilled chicken added). It was a great lunch, and with drinks and tip, was less than $ 20.

The worst customer service. I order online and get to this place to pick it up in a timely matter. I’m asked if I’m Tony. No I’m Gil I reply. It’s downhill after this. I’m told my order would be right up. And then I wait. And wait. And wait some more. Meanwhile, several people come in after me and get their order right away. One couple ordered right there and still got their order before me. Unbelievable. Mind you, I get asked two more times if I’m Tony. Can you believe that? I should have said yes. It was just a large cheese pizza guys, not too difficult. I just walked out. Total waste of time. I’m glad I didn’t prepay.

Ordered delivery. Surprisingly fast. Was quoted 60 – 75 min but food came less than 45 mins. In terms of food, the pizza was ok. Make sure you add cheese as its own topping if you create your own. We did not realize this, so our 2 pies came with just toppings and no cheese… Also, the dressing was for the salad was completely missing. Definitely could’ve been better.

Seriously the Garlic and Clam pizza is insanely good. The regular cheese pizza is no slouch either! As a newbie to the New Haven pizza scene, I thought that NYC pizza reign supreme. I was wrong. Tolli’s was amazing with a flavorful crust, good sauce, great cheese and amazing toppings. I will stop here every time I’m in the New Haven area.

First time back there since my high school days ’69-’72. Place has sure changed since then but food and service was excellent. See ya next year.

Classic Italian-American food with some inventive sounding specials(haven’t tried them) on the blackboard. Always come for lunch which is the best deal around. Half sandwiches, small pasta dishes, etc for $ 5. Don’t miss the pasta fagioli!

I Usually Love Tolli’s; Other Than They Always Mess My Order Up !! I Never Thought A «Chicken Parm; With American Cheese, Dont Toast The Bread«Was Sucha Hard Order That They Forgot To Add Sauce !!! How Is It Possible? Tolli’s Is Nice, The Food Is Edible, The Bread is always great tho. The Pies are Okay.

Tolli’s rocks for pizza! They have thin crust, which I am usually NOT a fan of, but theirs is very good. The wait staff are VERY friendly here. Small, old school pizza place. They do have a great dinner selection too with daily specials. They also have take out available.

Okay this is a great east coast Italian restaurant. That’s what you taste in the quality of the food and great service you get. I love the subs they are to die for and the best apizza in East Haven Fuggedaboutit! With so many fake Italian chain restaurant across this country, it is great to see a REALITALIANFAMILY restaurant that has stood the test of time and is still putting out a great product for a great price. I will always support mom and pop business’s that’s what makes America so great. I always eat here when I am in town visiting my Italian family. Love you guys!

There was a mixup on the pizza order I picked up for my parents. When I discovered that we were overcharged, I called Anthony. He arranged to have the refund driven to my parents house immediately. Great customer service!

Solid pizza place that serves a new haven style pizza. I had a personal pie with pepperoni and meatball. Copious amount of toppings and a great flavor in the sauce. Service is casual and there was only a single waitress handling all the tables. But service was never a problem and our drinks were refilled quickly. I’m told there are other places in East Haven that are just as good. The next time I’m in the area I may try this place again for their subs.

Great local place and it’s clean and newly remodeled. The food in the new dining room is excellent. Cheese pizza to go a bit oily but tasty. Wait staff very friendly.

Tolli’s for years was one of those places that you would go to if the Big 3 in New Haven had two hour waits and you wanted a solid pizza. Over the years the quality of the pizza itself has slowly deteriorated, but still remains a decent option in the East Haven area. I cannot speak on their other food because I don’t go to pizza places for veal. They remodeled this place and it’s stucco appearance just screams gaudy and tacky. It’s okay to be a pizza place with just booths, no need for murals of the motherland you’ve never been too. Not my top choice in East Haven but they do have more seating than some of the other options so it’s easier to come here with a larger crowd.

Ok, this is a shocker. I was starving driving through East Haven and would have settled for any ordinary pizza. I had heard from mom this part of CT was filled with many great old school Italian joints. So, when I saw this place on a Sunday afternoon, looking very inviting, I pulled over for some to go food and really didn’t care about the quality. I was starving. I ordered an eggplant parm grinder and small garlic pizza. Omg was I shocked to see the end result! A grinder on the most exquisite delicious bread you can imagine combined with the lightest, freshest eggplant parm you could imagine. The pizza? Another omg… I could literally taste each component — the wonderful cheese, perhaps imported from Italy, the heavenly spices, and the melt in your mouth yet crunchy crust. Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Wish I got a cannoli to go too. What a find. What a gem. Nonsense about prices. $ 20 for those two amazing items is a great value!

ordered the cavatelli & rabe, it was fantastic! Also ordered an eggplant sub. Which was a very generous portion for a very reasonable price of $ 8.00 they also deliver, which is fantastic, but your going to wait at least an hour. Which is understandable, because the dinning room is always busy, they likely give that priority. So factor in extra time and you’ll be fine. Food arrived hot, so no worries there.

When I go to Tolli’s, I always order a sub. They are prompt, friendly and the service is fast. One thing I love about this place is they make their own bread from scratch. It is probably the best bread that I have ever had. The ingredients are very fresh, which is clear by tasting their food. They also deliver to the local area. Toll’s also sells fresh deserts that are made on the premises and they also sell locally made Foxon Park Soda.
