Absolutely terrible Gamestop… Traded in my Xbox 360 and games here no problem to 1 guy because I said I was paying off my COd: Ghosts Preorder and Buying BF4. I had the pro card and they stole 15 $ in credit from me cause my card was temporarily inactive? WTH?!. So I say fine ill just take my game and finish my preorder and leave. NOPE. Sorry sir you still owe 20 $ for battlefield 4 so they gave me 100 $ for a 360 and 14 games plus 2 controllers just terrible. Had to go home, come back wasting a gallon of gas and the guy says we can’t accept your trades since your 17. I’m like I’m the guy that jus traded in a 360 and games here’s my recipt. Sorry nope can’t trade in here. I say f this I’m going to east meadow. Drive 2 miles up the road trade in no problem get my Bf4 and they even give me a free monster … Even better I go to pick up my COD: Ghosts game at midnight. Win a copy of the game from the millitary it was a 360 copy which I had no use for. I ask to trade in the recipt for cash and they say no store credit only since its not my game/RECIPT!!! So I can literally steal someone’s game trade it in and u guys keep the cash in house but same day I win a copy and can’t get cash. WORSTPLACEEVER!!! Go to either best but right across the parking lot or east meadow game stop this place deserves a negative star

Awful customer service. These associates have the nastiest attitude, and treat their customers as if they are above them. The manager wouldn’t even come to talk to me about an issue relating to a trade-in. Instead he sat at the far end of the store relaying messages to another employee who pranced around as if she was the highest authority with a nasty attitude. I’m telling you this store is awful, and I’ve been to many GameStop stores. Just get back into your car, and go to the GameStop in Levittown or Westbury. They are awesome(some of ‘em for the most part), and will treat you with some respect at least.

Worst Gamestop I’ve been to. The original manager/owner was a lot better than it’s current one. Once they changed management, they sacked all of the employees who worked there, then the new manager hired his family and friends to work there(not to sound ignorant but they are all of the middle eastern decent). When this place used to be called EB Games, I knew a lot of the employees personally and to see them get laid off was a huge incentive to stop shopping there. Now let me tell you why YOU shouldn’t come here. Around the time the game«Guitar Hero III» came out, I purchased the bundle(game + guitar) from this location(I still had the reservation). Picked it up just fine. After around a week of usage, the padding under the buttons for the guitar wasn’t working very well(if I pressed the red button it would randomly stop working for a moment on the television screen). So I figured I had the receipt, I’ll bring it back and exchange it for another one. The older woman behind the desk(who I think is the manager) said I could not exchange it unless they tested it first. So she told her son to try it out on one of the 360’s they had there. He tried playing(he was horrible) and once the song was over he said there was nothing wrong with it. I asked him to try it again, and I would point out when the keys would stop working. Throughout the song when the red pad flickered on the screen I said«there, see?» He then responded by saying it was him doing that and the guitar was fine. The woman/mother refused to exchange it. I get home, try it once more, it works fine for about 3 or 4 songs then the problem begins again. I called another gamestop(3513 Hempstead Tpke in Levittown) and said as long as I had the receipt I could exchange the defective guitar… and they did just that with no problems. If you absolutely NEED to go to a gamestop, AVOIDTHISONE and simply head down Hempstead Tpke to the one in Levittown.
