Beautiful modern architecture but still warm and inviting. There are so many beautiful places to sit and read a book. The wall of west facing windows is perfect for watching sunsets while enjoying a good book! The staff is especially friendly and helpful. I love using the study rooms and it’s so easy to reserve them. The kids area is so fun! I love the trees and the reading cubbies in the back. This is the best library in the county!

Millcreek went modern on us, yo! Way modern. This is close to being a glass house of books! They also have a café, a fireplace, study rooms, copiers, computers, and free WiFi — all under the County Library system. Again, they have a freakin’ fireplace! What more do you want to know?
Because of the location, there’s plenty of parking on the lot and on the street (just look for the signs). There’s access to and fro off 2300 East and it’s great for kids! I’m not a biased Literature major you guys, but I’m just sayin’…
I’ve just been once and I imagine I’ll be spending more time here pulling a book by the fire, or looking for the newest Mindy Kaling book or going back to my old ways reading heavy Russian novels. Whatever the case, consider this the new new.

This library/​community center is way nice! I attend a mommy group meeting here and the conference rooms are clean, modern and well lit. Great space for a meeting, class, etc.
I know senior citizens gather here to eat lunch and I’m not sure of the program details but their food smelled really good ;)

Best! Library! Ever!
This place is posh. There is a fireplace and a deli. The furniture is comfy and inviting. This library is every bit as warm and welcoming as any large bookstore I’ve ever visited. Nice!

Salt Lake County just re-​opened the new Millcreek Community Center and Library. It is a LEED certified building with geo-​thermal heating & AC. The Library is packed with over 50,000 new books. Complete setup for kids in the kids sections. Center has services for senior citizen’s, a workout facility w/​indoor running track, and a café. I am very impressed with the services, and the staff is super friendly. Great place to go kick back and read some books. The park and play area are currently still under construction — but the facility is top notch!
Go check it out and expand your knowledge while sipping a signature blackberry lemonade from the café for a buck.
