Dial Battery Paint & Auto Supply

I have picked up paint for work here (color matching metal projects and truck body repair work) — Otherwise, I probably would have never noticed the place or knew what they did!
Stopped in on Saturday morning to get a can of color matched spray paint made up for painting my baseboard heat covers… the color was «Mascarpone» by Benjamin Moore… Unfortunately, because the color was so close to white and the color chip matte finish their machine would not pick up on it.
The older man working the counter asked me about the project and let me know that as long as I bought a good quality paintbrush and good quality paint (they do not sell house paint. just an FYI) that the streaks/​brush marks that I was concerned about would not be an issue.
He also gave me an alternative in case I decided that I did want to spray the covers… they sell a very inexpensive ($ 8 kit, $ 8 refill sprayer) spray nozzle on a glass jar that you can use with conventional paints! Cool contraption!
I was very impressed that not only did this man patiently try to scan my color several times before giving up… but he was honest about me not needing to use spray paint just because I was painting metal! He very well could have sold me anything or rushed me out the door to wait on the next customer but instead he was patient and gave me the straight poop! I sooo appreciate that! :)
I would definitely return here if and when the need arises!
