Visiting from the west coast, my cousin brought me here when I requested that she take me to a diner. Prestige Diner fulfilled my expectations. It’s typical well prepared diner fare. It’s not fancy food or fine dining, but good food. Good service. I’ve been there twice.

Stopped there once before on my way home from work in Philadelphia. Service was good and the food was great so I decided to stop again. However my last visit on 12⁄30 had to wait to get waited on at 10 pm with only a few customers seated. What was really bad was the constant complaining from my server Max to the manager on duty. He was dissatisfied with another owner/manager. After a long day at work the last thing I need to here is how he has no respect for this person using unprofessional language and attitude and how he is on the verge of choking or taking him on if he irritates him again. This went one the full half hour I was their. Then waiting for my hamburger just added to it. The manager finally brought the food which was cold. If he does not like it their he needs to keep it out of ear shot of your diners or find another job. Will find another place to stop on my way home!

Having eaten here for probably a span of 15 years, I have to say that this place went downhill. My mom’s a huge fan of diners, so ever since a kid, my mom would take me and my sister to Prestige Diner for lunch every weekend. We would always have a wonderful experience with generous amounts of delicious food and of course, great prices. However, in the recent years, I came back with my friends, and it was definitely not the same! I know that they changed owners a couple of years ago, but woah, everything was not what I remembered. The food was meh, totally below mediocre. The portions are average but wayyyyy more expensive than it should be. Poor quality food, average portions but expensive for this area. Also, the service was not even good or friendly. Though it’s a decent location right off of rte 33, which is a great way to take a pit spot. Don’t expect much from the food or service.

Being from North Jersey my expectations for a diner are high. That being said this diner is a HUGE disappointment, the quality of the food is subpar, for the prices they charge the portions are not worth the price. The breakfasts are the only somewhat decent food on the menu and even they have room for improvement. Burgers are not so great, I mean how hard is it to make a decent burger? Quality of ingredients is poor, food is never prepared consistently, sometimes cooked properly sometimes over cooked. Salads are bland consisting mostly of lettuce, 1 or 2 slices of cucumber and 2 unripe wedges of tomato. Much rather take the ride down 130 to the Town and Country diner for a much better dining experience.

Food was poor in flavor/appearance and bathroom was dirty. Waitress and hostess were very nice.

Tucked away on rt. 33 is a little normal jersey diner. Very spacious and old school which I like. Typical diner fare. Extensive list of burgers, sandwiches, entrees of a normal diner. Prices vary. The dinner specials are decent. I’ve ordered broiled fish several times and it always comes out delicious. The burgers are by far their best attribute. Theyre huge, fresh and very tasty, not greasy either. Fries are usually crispy as with their sweet potato fries. Soups are hit or miss but usually good. Fried chicken in a basket, happy waitress, patty melts etc. The service is also hit or miss some servers are really good and some forgot about you for awhile till its time for your check. The desserts. I’ve had their cheesecake which is really good, rice pudding meh I’ve had better. I haven’t had breakfast their yet but eventually. Their appetizers such as onion rings, chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks are out of this world. Homemade and crispy and not greasy. Huge onion rings, flavorful chicken tenders, and fresh mozzarella sticks are awesome. They have a few sandwiches that are good like the Bronx bomber which is a pumped up french dip with real steak. Really delish. Unfortunately the food can be hit or miss but the burgers are definitely worth stopping in for in my opinion. Check it out n judge for yourself.

I had a dessert, love the presentation. Staff is very friendly, if they find you coming to the restaurant for the first time, they will talk to you and tell you the history of the diner which is interesting.

I stop by with my family everyone once in a while when I visit my grandfather’s grave. Food is great for a quick breakfast. But this 1 star is to bring attention to the owner. Whoever stands at the register is not inputting the amount due and could potentially be robbing you, watch out.(11am, April 12) I did enjoy the food.

Price vs. Value is very good. It’s a clean diner with solid diner food. Just ate breakfast with wife. She had pancakes and sausage. I had eggs, toast and corn beef hash. Everything was good. She had a side of fruit and a large grapefruit juice(which was gigantic) and I got an extra side of cottage cheese and coffee. Bill was $ 20.45. Coffee is a brand they have delivered that is ground locally, and is SO good. I started buying that brand for my house once I had it at the diner a couple times. Their sandwiches and burgers are really good too. Great Greek salad. Deserts are numerous and really good, but we are always full! There are several diners that are not as clean and are actually more expensive around the area. There are also fancier diners trying to be something other than a diner. I’ve tried them all, but keep coming back to Prestige. It’s the standard that I measure diners by.

We literally eat here all the time. Food is consistently good, prices are affordable. It’s what you can expect from a diner, but they are on point. Good portions without the crazy prices like at Americana.

Service was good. Very attentive. Home fries over cooked but western omelette 2nd try was good. Serving size good as well for price.

Some of the best diner food in the area. I had the baked chicken dinner and the sides were awesome. A huge stalk of broccoli perfectly steamed and brilliantly green, unlike the gray mush some other diners serve. The garden salad was fresh and tasty. They also have home baked breads: cheese and cinnamon raisin — both delicious.

We arrived a few minutes before 11 and the hostess honored the breakfast special. My hubbs ordered his usual– 2 eggs scrambled soft with home fries and white toast. I ordered a short stack of pancakes with a side of bacon.(Guess how much the bacon cost? go on… take a guess. 4 slices $ 1.00). The pancakes were very fluffy and my husband liked the eggs(he is particular about his eggs.

totally mediocre jersey diner. meh. it’s conveniently located off of rt. 33 by the rt.133 bypass, which is probably the only reason to stop in. service is kinda slow and not exactly friendly. prices are in the average to high range. pancakes were undercooked and totally flavorless. eggs ordered«over medium» were so runny that i’d barely even consider them«over easy». vom. swiss cheese omelette probably sat under a heat lamp for too long– the once-melty cheese inside was a hardened slab by the time it hit the table. yuck. scrambled eggs were okay. this is definitely not a place you want to go out of your way to dine at. in fact, if you’re passing by and looking for a place to eat, do yourself a favor and keep driving. judging by other Unilocal reviews, food quality and service seem to be hit-or-miss.

Not worth the money. Bacon sandwich was rancid. Tasted moldy and hard like bacos. Didnt get all the food I ordered. Good thing I wouldn’t want to pay for it.

One of the best turkey clubs I’ve had in a long time. Real turkey breast piled high; lots of perfectly cooked bacon and fresh tomatoes. Th included fries were excellent as well. Served with a pickle and very nice cole slaw. A wonderful lunch! My wife chose a breakfast dish — eggs over easy with corn beef hash — which she said were great as well. Just a chance encounter while traveling, but a lucky find!

Ok — I may be bias since I’ve lived behind this place my whole life, but I love it! Perfect diner atmosphere and definitely authentic diner menu(it’s huge. Prepare accordingly). The service is great and the staff is very friendly. It’s clean bsd the prices are appropriate. Make sure you check the specials. The dessert case is… incredible. I’ve left with a box of them on more than one occasion.

Breakfast waffle was way overdone. Waitress was kinda rude. Not worth the money. Go somewhere else. Mcdonalds would have been better. I told the waitress and she didn’t care. She even left it on the bill. Not worth the time or money. Go somewhere else!

A diner. In central/south jersey. All that’s needed to say. One thing of note though, I’m happy that my NYC foodie wife likes NJ diners now. She never understood why I(a south Jersey native) held such affinity for diners. She now understands — typically tasty, a smörgåsbord of selection, a big portion, and at a very fair price — let’s not forget about 24 hours 7 days a week of availability at a lot of places!
