Reviewing this place on behalf of my fiancé as he is the coffee connoisseur. he is the guy who is not effected by any of the Starbuck drinks, or any of the added espresso shots to the already strong dark roast. shoot, even the worlds strongest coffee I ordered online for him didn’t really phase him. lol Anywho, pretty sure he just got the cold brew dark roast blend black and loved it, flavor was great and actually lasted him a while as he said it was pretty strong! Happy because we live right down the road and my man deserves a good true cold brew before work(not the ice in a cup with hot coffee poured over. hate that!) only reason I’m not giving 5 stars, is because the parking is mehhhh… went back this morning(Sunday around 10) and had no where to park so ended up leaving. I don’t necessarily hold it against the owners of the coffee shop, but just in general. when you’re in a hurry,(or haven’t had your coffee yet. hehe) having to walk from the complete opposite side of the parking lot is not ideal. definitely will be back, just not when the parking lot is full!

This place has great coffee. Made fresh when you order it. They roast there own beans and have a nice variety of blends. It also has a nice relaxing atmosphere with comfortable chairs and free WiFi This is hands down the best café on the east side.

This place has an amazing chai tea latte, and a very chill atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good study place.

It’s really nice to have a little independent coffee shop in the area. They’ve got a large variety of different coffees and espresso drinks, and they bake all of their pastries in house. Prices are far more reasonable than any of my favorite coffee shops on the east coast — a medium latte and a scone only came out to $ 5. It’s a little hard to find since its tucked into a strip mall, but it’s definitely a place worth visiting, lest Starbucks and Bigby truly become dominant in this part of town.

Great place to relax and watch some soccer. These guys roast their own coffee and make amazing cups of coffee. There is free wifi and comfy places to sit with two TV’s that are often playing overseas soccer games. They have a great selection of coffees and teas as well. The family that owns this place is very nice and they make you feel very welcome. The only suggestion I have is to order the french press over the pour over coffee. For the pour over they pour all the hot water over the grounds at once so it gets a bit watered down. It should be done more slowly to let the coffee trickle through the grounds. The french press produces a much fuller and stronger cup of coffee. Other than that, this place is great, and I look forward to sitting out front when the weather is a little warmer.

I usually don’t give anyone 5 stars but this place is pretty great. This is as close to a real Italian street café as you can get, I’d imagine. Really though, I’m the only one in here who can’t speak Italian. Great menu, excellent coffee, wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended

I was in the area to pick something up from my aunt and stopped in for a Carmel latte. When I walked in, I could smell the coffee. i ordered my drink and he got it me quickly and was super polite. I walked out to my car and took my first sip and wow was it amazing! I loved the drink, and will definitely visit again when I am in town.

This place serves really fresh coffee. You can tell because they blend and brew your coffee only after you order it. They have a good variety of beans from all over the world to choose from, and if you’re not up for coffee, they have a large variety of tea to choose from too! The hot chocolate was a little on the sweeter side, but it was so good. Their prices are really reasonable and there’s ample parking in the plaza and free wifi, so this place is definitely worth a visit.

My fiancé and I just recently moved to the area and hadn’t found a coffee place to keep us going… until now. This is definitely one of the best mochas I have had in quite awhile. The coffee is roasted in store and is wonderful. There were about 10 – 15 different roasts available for freshbrew, pour over, or french press. I can’t wait to go back and try a few other drinks. The espresso was perfect and the sevice was very friendly. We got two medium mochas with flavor shots for $ 7.50. Not a bad price at all! If you aren’t a coffee drinker, I did notice they had a few other options, sandwiches, pastries, smoothies and ice cream as well.

This was a great little find for my husband and I. We stopped for coffee and my husband enjoyed a pour over house blend. I ordered a chai tea latte that was delicious. Atmosphere is cozy casual yet elegant. I will be back and I highly recommend the place.

Unique, family owned Café, that roasts their own beans, and serves top notch food as well as drinks. There is a warm, and inviting feeling from the people. The atmosphere is very comfortable, and more pleasing than something like a chain Starbucks. It’s a great stop, and even worth taking a trip to visit. I get a double shot of espresso usually, but they serve all the other drinks you would expect and more.

I was driving down ten mile after a doctor appointment and noticed this gem. And boy I am glad that I did. This is how a real coffee shop should look and feel. They roast their own beans and source them from multiple different countries. I tried their ‘Brazil’ roast and it’s delicious! At two dollars for a medium, pour over, coffee you can’t beat their prices. I wish that this place was next to a Starbucks so people could realize what a genuine coffee shop is like! If you have ever had a cup of coffee before, you’re going to like this place.

Finally, a decent coffee hoyse on the eastside! All beans ground fresh and extracted via pour over. A great selection of single origin as well.

I’m sorry, but why isn’t every Café this place. It’s atmosphere is warm, their beans are roasted here, and their drink board is written in chalk. TV, fireplaces, couches, free wifi, and friendly as I would hope!

I’m not sure how I’ve managed to never review this place as I’m in there so much. This is another litle hole in the wall place in true Eastpointe style. It’s got some outdoor seating and indoor as well. The décor is a bit dark, but feels like a moody coffee shop. They roast all of their own beans here, and they have a ton of variety and blends to choose from. I’ve had almost all of them, and you can’t go wrong. One of my favorites is the Coffee Break blend. If you get a cup of coffee he’ll grind it right there in front of you and make it fresh with the drip method. Tasty and strong and very reasonably priced. They also have the frilly drinks, but I can’t attest to their taste as I’ve always just had black coffee. There are some snacks and other kinds of drinks there for kids or someone looking for something other than coffee. Overall a wonderful place to go that frankly deserves way more business than it has.

This is the best coffee house in MI. European Coffee House experience. They roast their beans in house, with an amazing selection of beans. the smell alone is worth the visit. Sit back enjoy a great cup of coffee and a bowl of homemade soup. Don’t forget to grab a pound of fresh roasted beans on your way out. Highly Recommend
