This dance studio is not just a venue — it’s a community spot to meet and get entertained, enjoy dancing, learn, have fun, and meet great team of instructors. The studio offers dance lessons for folks of all ages, literally. My child has been attending this dance school for two years already(the ballet class of Lauren Zaleta). Hudson Dance has a spacious and beautiful ballroom that overlooks Manhattan and a cute marina on the Hudson river. The guys at Hudson Dance host parties, charity events, and recitals regularly. You won’t be disappointed.

Not a good place for children classes, the teacher does not know how to work with kids, overpriced, recital is all about making money and not about the experience. They do not allow you to take pictures or videos and not all children will make the cut so you won’t even have anything to remember it. Children I cramped in some room in the back for 2 hours while the show is going I and never get to see the show. Take your child to ProArts instead down the road

Do not get their monthly membership, they are completely inflexible. If you are sick and especially if they are closed, they will not let you make up a class and will not refund any of your money. They were closed for two weeks over the holidays and because of the storm, the proprietor basically told us that she made a mistake, she charged us too little and she corrected herself by charging the full amount of the month. Even though the studio was closed Christmas through New Year’s and due to weather. Originally she left a voice mail basically saying too bad you loose your money. But after some unpleasant back and forth agreed to «let» us make up the classes. So in conclusion if you don’t want the unpleasantness just don’t get the monthly membership because its just a way to screw the customer, get the class card.
