Fast service, fresh food and a very friendly staff. Great lunch special deals, however I would suggest they include other sides to add under their combinations such as gyoza instead of just sushi rolls. The location is small and cozy and can easily be missed since its on the corner of a tiny lot at the bottom of a large hill. Overall, a great grab and go place.

Loved it. Went for lunch and got tuna and salmon rolls for $ 8 and came with soup. Generous portions and a very nice sushi chef makes this a definite regular stop now. She adjusted the rolls for me (I don’t like cucumber). It was quick, fresh, good price and convenient. Better than Whole Foods or Mitsua and about as quick in and out time wise.

Ordered sashimi box large and a salmon box to go for dinner tonight. Figured that ill give it a try, seeing the new reviews about the place being under new management.
The portions are larger now, and the food is really fresh! The female owner is also very friendly. It looked like it was a family run venue, also much cleaner than it was before. I’ll definitely visit to pickup food from here again, and tell all my friends and family about how good the sushi and sashimi is here.

I ordered sushi/​sashimi for delivery. My order came expeditiously. The fish was fresh, but the sushi was not exceptional. I have to be honest, I’ve had better quality sushi. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t the best.

Absolutely the best sushi I’ve had in NJ hands down. Sushi is always excellent and the service is always quick and attentive. Everybody knows that sushi has to be fresh and service has to be good and prices have to be reasonable. Sushi To Go Express meets all 3 expectations consistently. I come here weekly and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this great sushi place to anyone that enjoys great service and the best quality of food. Try their shrimp tempura udon also if you’re in the mood for something warm.

Under new management! I love the sushi!!! I came here a few times before when I lived in Edgewater and the food was mediocre but the new owner makes much better sushi!
I tried the sashimi, sushi, and spicy salmon roll. They were all very fresh and good quality. I came back for more! The owner was very friendly. I would definitely come back for more! my new favorite sushi place.

I was in the area when for an appointment stumbled upon this sushi restaurant. I am always skeptical of any type of sushi on the go places but I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the sushi here. I had the spider roll and it was better than some of the high end sushi restaurants I’ve been to in NYC. I’m definitely coming back. Price is reasonable. Owner really cares about her customers

New owner! And good price! Not $$$!! She has been a famouse roll maker in palisades park. I was sad when her maki roll restaurant closed, but she opened this restaurant with her amazing skill! I loved all of her rolls and sushi too.

By far the best sushi in jersey, sorry I don’t know any other place that has better spicy tuna, and special rolls; and I tried absolutely everyone. I’m an extremely picky eater and this place is amazing. The seaweed is exactly the right texture, the tuna is perfectly flavored, and the owner Park is the best. YAE you may have some issues with delivery but I personally spoke to the owner and he’s trying to improve. This place is an amazing small little place, small operation and so what if you may not get the corporate style service response, the owner is such a genuine person making the greatest sushi. You want corporate, hit Tao in NYC, otherwise, if you want the best sushi made by an amazing chef, check out this place. Much much love for Park and his sushi!!!

I would never eat in there as it does stink and the décor is crap but, when I want something simple like spicy tuna roll while I get my nails done next door, it does the job and they will bring it to you if you are a lazy entitled fat slob like myself. Ive never gotten sick or tasted anything sour. Keep it simple and know that there is like one man running the show so don’t depend on delivery. Just order and go pick it up. If you’re a sushi snob then just skip it. If you’re an average sushi eater of simple items and you don’t have time or money to go elsewhere, it’ll do.

Best thing is their sushi is fresh. It’s not like those slimy sashimi you get elsewhere
The price is like other sushi places, not too expensive
but their lunch specials are great! very affordable and filling :)
I think their sashimi is better than sushi because you will get to really feel the freshness, but their sushi is delicious too

Stopped in around 10.15 and they were open. Place is clean and owner though not too friendly seemed nice. They have seating tables but looks more like a take out place. They have nice lunch special deals
Sushi Combos are for around 16 bucks. Fish was fresh but sushi on the whole tasted pretty average. Spicy Salmon Roll was good. There are not too many places open on the river road around that time. But nothing exciting an all out trip to go there.

Ive eaten here alot, only because i live around the corner and get mean cravings for sushi.
As soon as you walk in, its smells like fish. Yes i know its a sushi place – but its not a good fishy smell, it doesnt smell fresh.
Udon is good.
The lunch specials are good. i think its a miso soup and 2 or 3 rolls for under $ 10. Deff a steal. altho your choices are not that extended, you cant go wrong with this.
Service is slow, and sometimes they have a bit of an attitude. Charge you for spicy mayo sauce.
Clean, and has a few tables to sit at.

Ordered two sushi platters.
The sushi tasted briny and not fresh. The tuna tasted like it was refrigerated and stored for way too long. The rice quality is very low, way too cold and not tasty. I had to force every piece of sushi just because it would be a waste.
Overall quality is very low. Will never order from here again. I’ll pay a little extra and get sushi that is 10x better quality!
