This is a fine salon for getting nails done as well as waxing services. But when it comes to getting your hair cut, however, I would find another place. The woman who trimmed my hair, while pleasant, was obviously not experienced in cutting curly, short hair..(Those of you ladies who have short, curly hair know how easily things can go awry with an inexperienced hairstylist.) I came in with a trendy, hip shape that only needed to be trimmed and she ended up cutting it too short on the sides and back, making it «balloon» outward. She did not shape it properly and dried it in the worst way — scrunching the curls until they were bone dry and then finished it off my scrunching gel all over them. When it was over, i looked like I had just stuck my finger in an electric socket. I was mortified. The hair stylist also doesn’t speak good English which is not good when you are trying to communicate what you want for your hair. Again, fine for getting manis and pedis, bad for haircuts. This is the last time I get my hair cut by a salon without doing my research first.

I don’t know WHY I’ve come back to this salon more than once because it is AWFUL. The staff is rude and incredibly non-accommodating. They will literally TURNYOUAWAY at the door if they have more than 2 customers(I’ve been to nail salons that were 3 times as busy and they would still accommodate their customers). They have made me wait for a ridiculously long time and then give me attitude about wanting to give THEM business. But all this would be ok if you could get a half-way decent manicure from them. But NO, that’s the worst part: the manicures are absolutely terrible. They put a thiner in their polishes that makes them turn a completely different color that they’re supposed to be and they look ridiculous on your nails — I always need 3 coats and even then it still sucks. I can’t stand the fact that I’ve given this place business when they really don’t deserve my hard-earned money at all.

I went there to get a nail cut down(most places charge $ 3) and a polish change. I was made to wait there for 10 minutes and told it was $ 30. My set cost $ 27! I had a full manicure done on my artificial nails at a super sweet salon up the road in Cliffside Park for $ 9. Complete with massage and neck rub.
