It’s been YEARS since I’ve had pizza from here, and I live just across the street. Just recently, I ventured in here for a slice after watching a movie. It made me remember why I haven’t been in here for years and years. The slice was huge, but just oh, soooo soooo bland! No amount of spices I added to it improved it. It was terrible! Frozen pizza from the grocery store tastes better. Maybe it was an off night? I always try to give the benefit of the doubt, so I’m going to try it one more time. Maybe order something different.

I’ve been here only twice. The pizza(slice) is all I tried and it’s not bad. It’s not the best, but if you’re looking for a quick slice, it does the job. The slices are a actually bigger than normal. It falls apart quickly if you don’t hold it right. A bit greasy. But overall a good taste, comes out nice and hot, gooey cheese and their sauce isn’t half bad. I came here once after the movies(right across the street) and once because I wanted to avoid the chaos of no parking and crowds across the way. It’s family owned I guess, the owner and his wife were bickering and made it uncomfortable to sit inside & funny to witness. It’s a small place and hot as hell in the summer(NOAC!!! Really?!!) which makes it more uncomfortable. $ 17 for 4 slices, 1 Snapple &3 soda cans. 3 stars for the lady, she tries to make it more pleasant by being very polite and friendly. The husband, eh, I guess he’s hot all the time making those pizzas…

I’ve been ordering from Pizza Gallery for a couple of years and have always enjoyed the food from there. Unfortunately they’ve gone downhill recently. The chicken tenders were the same as usual, juicy and tasty, but the stromboli, the primary reason I order from PG, has changed drastically. The dough was undercooked, it was not seasoned, the meat and cheese was cut in half and wasn’t prepared the same. The sauce that came with it was no longer a delicious marinara sauce, it was a cheap grainy tomato paste. My GF called and spoke to a lady who was very nice. We asked if they were making the stromboli differently and she said the chef had changed and was preparing the food differently. We then spoke to the owner who got very snippy and told us nothing has changed and we don’t know what we are talking about. Considering how long we’ve been ordering from them and the way we felt like less than valued customers, we will not be ordering from them in the future. I don’t want anything for free, but I was brought up in a family of business people and learned that if you like something you should say something. Unfortunately the owner took my criticism of the new way they’re making the food as a personal insult and not constructive criticism. That is the biggest problem of all.

The worst slice of pizza I have ever had! BLAND as can be! Nothing more to say. Avoid this place.

I’ve never felt compelled to write a review for anything in my life, but I felt I had to for this abomination. We ordered the pizza at 7:30 and it didn’t arrive until 9. When the driver called(because he couldn’t find our place), he gave us some serious attitude. When it did arrive, the oil from this deformed pizza had eaten away through half of the box… ANDTHEPIZZAWASTERRIBLE. The texture was a perfect blend of wet leaves and engine oil. It tasted like someone in the kitchen went nuts with rock salt. Needless to say, I don’t think I’m ever going to order from this place again.

My dad bought a pie from here on his way home from work and invited me over to have a slice. I didn’t know that he picked it up from the«Shitty Gallery» but I knew it once he opened the box. Incredible. After living around NYC my entire life,(Born in Queens, raised in Fort Lee, NJ/Brooklyn, NY) I can easily say that Pizza Gallery takes the award for far and beyond the WORSTPIZZA in the tri state area. Congratulations on the award Pizza Gallery!

All the good reviews are from the owner and their friends. I have been to this place several times due to my kids like the huge slices, but the attitude and horrible service you get from the owners is just not worth it just like their food. The pizza actually has no taste, oh as the owner says you season your own pizza, I guess he does that to all his food cause it tastes like nothing. I ordered from there yesterday and the girl on the phone told me 30 mins. I called 54 min later asking where it was cause the place is three blocks from me, she says he’s on his way another 20 min later I call back and she says he’s running a little late, so I asked her to forget it cause how do you tell hungry kids to wait another 30 min she said. The owner Mario calls me and says he’s taking me to small claims court cause he doesn’t give an F*** I asked him not to speak to me that way cause I got to his business all the time. Real loser bad business people and terrible food, also my nieghber ordered that very day and got the same treatment after they called cause they found hair in the pizza. This place is gross and everyone needs to stay away.

I’m really surprised at the bad review for this place. I’ve been going to pizza gallery for almost 2 years, and this place delivers every time. Its a little spot, but you can taste the freshness of the pizza. When I usually go, I order the pepperoni roll, and every single time it delivers. This is not a fancy place to eat, but if you want fresh pizza to go, this is the place. Friendly people, fresh ingredients and a satisfying belly. :O)

Brooklyn Pizza was closed so since we were hungry for pizza, when we saw Pizza Gallery we jumped at the chance. All I can say is I’m very sorry we did. Pizza Gallery creates far from a masterpiece! We should’ve known something was up when a woman and man(the owners?) were on the porch(Yes! Porch!). When we walked up and followed us in through the screen door. It’s a very small and hot shop with 3 teeny tables with seats and 3 stools at a bar. The pizza didn’t look fresh at all so we ordered a whole pie — and we were very sorry for doing so. We wanted 2 slices to have BBQ chicken and it was made into a production. As we sat in the sweltering shop that had more people working there than customers, people came in two, three at a time. We couldn’t figure out where these people were coming from given PG’s location – we guessed the majority of business came from the nearby apartments. Each time an order was ready, the woman formerly on the porch, now behind the register, made a production out of delivering each customer’s order on a small pizza tray. After our longer than it should’ve been wait, we were given the pizza to go. I don’t remember if we asked for it to go, but I’m sure glad we were taking it as I really didn’t want to sit there in the heat. When we opened the box, there were 2BBQ chicken slices out of the plain pie with extra sauce, light cheese as we’d ordered — but we’d never seen a BBQ slice quite like this: chicken, onions, peppers, and what appeared to be cream sauce. We dissected what tasted like(according to in my very experienced pizza palate) a 5&10, Woolworth’s, or McCory’s pizza. And if you’re too young to know what that is or have never heard of the aforementioned, let’s just say it tasted like fake, processed pizza a la canned sauce, etc. $ 16+ for the medium pie with 2 chicken slices and 2 cans of Diet Coke(the saving grace of the meal!).
