This is my closest Starbucks location to home. It can be busy in the mornings so I usually use mobile order, which works great. Outdoor seating is usually taken up by a large group of older men during the week. I have encountered a few order mess-ups, mainly with food orders. Bathrooms are generally clean to use.

Good —— Nice for the professional or student. Descent amount of AC outlets so one can work while enjoying the latte. Crowd seems to be generally the professionals and the college students. Bad —– Bathrooms can be really stinky often. The vents never seem to be on. Tables are sometimes sticky and no way of cleaning it except to take some napkins and go to the bathroom and make a wet towel. Service can be very good to awful depending on who is working. There seems to be no standard or consistency. Outdoor seating can be too bright to read or use a laptop, lacking in outlets and no cover if raining or very sunny. Really Really Bad(Cheap, Loud and rude) — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — There is a small group of elderly retirees that come often. They usually buy nothing or just a cup of coffee, most of the time they just drink the free ice water from the store. They smoke just a few feet from the main entrance by the outdoor seating or even at the outdoor seating area, stinking the entire place up. So basically they come to just stand there or take a table without buying much or anything to smoke and chat with their buddies. They do NOT hesitate to use the«speaker phone» feature of their cells so they can share their conversation with everyone near them. They say hi to the other customers, who are usually working and preoccupied and can be nasty if they don’t get a immediate response. I fear the moments when they pass by me, because they try to engage in conversation sometimes. Clearly they are bored people. Right now there are 5 of them and I have been harassed 2x already and a good half an hour of inhaling their smoke and listening to their rabble. They came after I got by drink and sat down… They are often very LOUD especially when there are 4 or 5 of them. One blessing is that they often speak in a foreign language and hence at least it is white noise. They take up the parking space right in front of the store. This group ALL behave LOUD and RUDE and hence it seems to be a cultural conflict. Just destroys the atmosphere. I often drive past the River Road Starbucks if I see them and either find another café or go home. I try to find the student/professional atmosphere where people are generally quiet and polite and the air does NOT stink of tobacco.

I visited this Starbucks today and the service was HORRIBLE !!! LV who was the so called manager on duty is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. For a company of this stature to have workers like this is ridiculous. On top of the bad service the bathrooms were disgusting. This place deserves a minus 5

Rudest Starbucks in the area. Question your order and get attitude from all the baristas who clearly hate their customers and their lives. There’s a gray haired gentleman who’s extremely nice. The rest will ruin your morning. Giving two stars because the space is decent but usually dirty.

They messed up my mobile order! So it’s not like they didn’t understand it… They just didn’t give a s***. When told, the barista went crazy. I was kinda scared she was gonna throw the utensils at me! So I just took the order and left to avoid the tension. Ugh! Worst experience. Never coming back here again. Supervisor from 5÷7÷2016 @ 3:15pm needs to talk some sense into their team!!! You’re welcome.

The middle aged woman taking my order was very rude. She spoke«my I take your order», however her eyes said«go fuck yourself». I had never encountered such an uncomfortable environment. This was the image they protected coming into this county.

Great Starbucks, however it’s upsetting that it’s not open 24⁄7 anymore. It was basically one of the only places to go to if you were craving a sandwich or pastry at 2 am, or if you were bored, wide-awake, and wanted to go for a drive. An issue I have with this Starbucks is that they are set on closing the outdoor seating area WAY before closing, kicking you out in the process.

This is my local starbucks! I use to be a frequent Starbucks consumer a few years back. Now I only stop by occasionally.(It was way to much caffeine for me.) My beverage of choice is a Venti Soy Latte w/3 splenda. I’ve never had a problem at this location. At times the lines can be very long in the mornings. I only go if I have extra time. I wish there was a starbucks location with a drive thru on my way to work.

Barista makes a mistake on an order and when told. She starts throwing cups and utensils. Not very attentive as i had to wait to 5 minutes just to get my coffee which has been just sitting there and after I got to the office found out my order was not right(it was a simple order of hot coffee with cream and suger and she forgot the sugar and cream… seriously. This isnt rocket science. Management needs to train them right or find competent people. Being at work with no coffee sucks. Ugh.

Great location, sub par service with staff that appears annoyed 85% of the time. Not sure the reason for the low morale at this Starbucks, but it’s obvious to all patrons

Since their renovation, I somehow thought this place would have more space, less lines and so so wait. Not really. Still busy, long lines galore and long wait for your drink.

I don’t know what happened I think maybe new management but it has became the worst Starbucks on River road. Thank God there’s 2 others within close proximity. Nobody is checking the mobile orders, if who I think is the manager is the manager he is sarcastic and care more about all the group meetings going on during rush hour traffic. I used to love this location, I knew the staff by name, my orders were always ready… those days are long gone.

Excellent midnight snack place. This would be my 3rd time here but it will not be my last. Word of warning though;; it gets crowded after midnight.

This location is always busy. It is a luxury to find a seat by an outlet and by a window. It gets even busier on the weekend. I am a Starbucks fan and a Gold member there(so you know I spend a lot of time and money in these shops). This location is not my favorite, but the only one around. Staff isn’t overly friendly and sometimes not at all friendly. There is outside seating that could be used in good weather. Smoking is allowed there in that section. Seating is odd — one long table that has people lining up around it to go to the counter. Doesn’t feel private to sit there. Sat there today and felt like people on the line were getting bored waiting and had direct access to my screen for entertainment. One of the employees brought her kid to work and he was doing everything in his power to distract me. He truly enjoyed yelling and hitting the table. I was happy to find an empty seat to move to but wish his mother said something… Overall — consistent in products served with other locations but the busy foot traffic and not overly enthusiastic staff is not a plus.

This particular Starbucks facility has been open for quite some time now. I’ve been coming here since high school and they’ve continued to make really good changes. One particular thing I LOVE about this Starbucks is that its open 24⁄7! They have outdoor sitting, made changes inside so there is more space to enjoy your coffee while still being able to sit, use your laptop, read, study etc. At times of course it is pretty busy, this place is surrounded by a few shops, restaurants, & gyms. There is plenty of parking, so you never have to worry about that. Service is decent. I do have some Baristas that are really engaging and others that just want to get my order and send me on my way. I do feel that it would attract more customers if ALL the baristas were trying to engage their customers, after all we are paying for more than just coffee, its the unique service and quality of the coffee. As long as I continue to get my order right and in a timely matter I will definitely continue coming here to enjoy this facility.

The only 24 – 7 Starbucks around the area! Great for late night study sessions and last minute cramming with coffee and sweets! I only wish there were more outlets available, as always. Otherwise my def Starbucks in New Jersey!

This is my favorite Starbucks! I have came here countless times over for ten years and the have yet to disappoint me! Service is quick and coffee is amazing. They are open 24⁄7 and they have plenty of parking. Free wifi available. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. Their hot lattes are also to die for! The perfect amount of foam for the perfect cup of Java :)
