Sunspa Tanning

Really bad business practice. During the month of April 2015 I had a 30 day level 4 unlimited membership at $ 96.00. Running congruent with my monthly membership was a special at the salon to sign up for any unlimited tanning package and the $ 20 dollar enrollment fee would be waived. When my monthly package ended in May I asked if I could sign up for automatic billing etc and also ask if I could get the enrollment fee waived since it would have made zero sense to sign up again in April. The young girl behind the desk said no. And commented that the manager, April and the owner (forgot name) were «really weird» about «stuff like that.» If I hadn’t already purchased a $ 96 package in April to try out all of the beds then I would have signed up for automatic and if there is not enough common sense to recognize that then I’m sorry (actually I’m not) I can’t do business with a company like this.

Seems to be clean and well kept. They have a variety of options to accommodate different «needs». You can just purchase a single visit, a week unlimited, monthly, etc. Which is great of you’re like me and only tan a couple of times a year (before vacation/​special events). Prices are competitive and it seems like they run a lot of specials on the tanning as well as the products. They offer traditional tanning as well as spray.

Very clean, friendly staff, hottest beds I’ve found. I have been going there for a awhile and have never had any issues. Greet reasonable monthly membership. Very pleased.

We ‘shopped’ tanning salons in the area so this was one of four chains we tried… and since they were clean, friendly, and the price very reasonable, we decided to sign up for a membership (month-​to-​month). This is a very clean location, and the employees are quite friendly. They have lotions like everywhere else, but don’t push them on you at every visit like some do. The décor is middle of the road, comfy seating (though I have yet to experience a wait) and the beds seem to be well maintained. Full view mirrors in each room help with accurate lotion application and dressing, the basket of clean towels on the desk is nice… on occasion I like an extra towel, depending on what I am wearing, and I don’t have to ask for an extra each time I need one like at other salons I have visited. I would definitely recommend this chain if someone is looking for a tanning salon. We have been to their other two locations as well, with similar impressions of each.

I have been to quite a few tanning salons and this one is my favorite so far in Northern Kentucky. It’s also one of the few Cincinnati Tan hasn’t bought out and ruined! Luckily I haven’t «checked in» to a Cincinnati Tan to tell you what I think of them…
This place has several beds — 4 levels. I got a great deal on a one year unlimited package for level 4. Turns out my pick of beds is actually the stand up bed, which is a level 2. Oh well, I guess I can spice it up and switch beds.
The staff is always polite and there are no «eye wear Nazis» there. It’s based on trust, as it should be, and you are not required to lay out your eye wear at every visit for a FDA inspection.
Beds always seem clean and if you’re lucky you’ll show up on a «special» day with free drinks and pizza!
