we always order full chicken combo to go, the chicken is very good.
customer service is not the best, they are not Friendly, but i love the chicken…

I always come here for a full chicken combo! Unilocal is saying that it is closed but it is NOT. They are only closed on Mondays. Love this place

I must say the food here is amazing!!! I always get the arroz chaffa and it’s a great amount for a great price! The only issue I have is the women that work here are very rude and nasty! They treat people who only speak English very nasty. I would call and Order my food in advance and they wouldn’t even start until I get there!!! The cook is friendly and he is the only reason why I come back. The ugly women I completely ignore!

This is a hit not a miss. Food is really flavorful and fresh; I can’t ask for anything short of that. Try the chaufa de camarones and the seafood soup warms your soul like someone’s mother made it. Very hearty and satisfying.

The two ladies who man the cashier treat every non spanish speaking person like trash. Customer service is nonexistent. I recommend eating out because dining in will make you want to get into a fight.
³⁄₅ times I have ordered food for take-​out, it has been wrong. For whatever reason, whenever I clearly say «beef/​carne», it’s always heard as «pollo”/“chicken». EVEN WHEN my order is read back to me as «Beef peruvian style chinese rice,» when I arrive home and open the container it’s chicken. =.=
Delivery: depends on how the workers are feeling.
My co-​workers and I wanted to order delivery to our work place on Kilmer Rd, Edison. When I called, they told me that they do not deliver, «take out only». As a test, I had my peruvian co-​worker call our order for delivery… they delivered. wooooow.
The next week, we went to place an order and they said, «We do not deliver.» and, «We have never received or delivered to that area before.» BTW, it’s always the same people working.
Food: Seasoned well, a bit on the salty side though. Their roasted chicken is really flavorful. However, the fried rice always has egg shells. Yum.

The food is really good but the service is incredible dissapointing. I can get plenty of good food with great service so this restaurant has dropped to the bottom of my list. Two times now I placed an order on grubhub, waited over an hour and my food never arrived. Called the restaurant to discover they never processed my order. I couldn’t even cancel it because no one spoke English very well. I ended up having to call grubhub customer service to cancel my order. Shame too because it is affordable good tasting good. Will not order again though.

Not bad flavor is good

Ordered food twice through GrubHub and to find out not only they will not deliver to my home claiming it was too far but they did not even have the courtesy to call me or to GrubHub at the time they got the order, just to leave me waiting on food that was never coming!
Very unprofessional on their part and I’ll give credit to GrubHub’s customer service being excellent dealing with them.

The rotisserie chicken is awesome. I don’t know what’s in those Peruvian spices, but the skin and the tender meat is perfect. We usually get the combo meal; which is a whole chicken, french fries, salad and white rice. The french fries definitely have that frozen for months taste, the salad is boring, but fresh, and the white rice is… white rice. It’s all about the chicken!

Chicken Palace is amazing but you have to know what to expect. The wait staff doesn’t speak much English but the food is incredible. I’ve been to a few Peruvian restaurants and the Arroz Con Marscos (seafood rice) that I got here was the best I have ever had. We also ordered the tamal (corn mush pie) with chicken. It was really good. I would definitely come back.

The food is good! But service isn’t when placing an order here by phone make sure you call 1 hour and a half before pick up, also you may be lucky to arrive there and find it ready.

I like this place. Hole-​in-​the-​wall, and I always order by phone then pick up. The chicken combo is yum. The green sauce is very tasty on everything, but you don’t «need» it cause everything is flavored well. I can only speak to the chicken combo and Lomo Saltado. Both are really yum and better than some fancier places.
I only wish I am greeted a little nicer when I get there, or when I call in over the phone, or when I’m standing around waiting for a few mins for the food to be done. But whatever, it doesn’t effect my desire to buy the food. So I keep going.

This place was recommended by a hairdresser I had just met. Where can I find a great Peruvian restaurant, I asked. Very simple hole in the wall but the food is fantastic, she said. Are you sure? Yes she said, I’m Peruvian and I know what’s good. We’ll she was right!
I ordered the Chaufa de Mariscos (similar to seafood fried rice). Delicious! Lobster, shrimp, clams, squid, mussels, etc. I posted a photo for your delight!
Unpretentious environment but very clean and inviting. But most important, the FOOD!!!

Since first time I went I fell in love with the place and service. The food is really good. Everything I have asked for comes out delicious. Eat in or take out. Enjoy!!!

The food is delicious and an excellent value if you ignore the look (i.e. the ambiance, décor, etc.) of the place. I recommend pick it up to go and enjoy your self a nice meal… especially the chicken. Mmm.

The combo is an excellent value!
$ 14 for a whole chicken, a salad, order of fries, order of rice, and a 2 liter bottle of inca cola is a great deal.
The food was very delicious. My only minor complaint is that their hot sauce is a bit salty.
