We had Gujju Thali here 2 days ago, the waitress who took our order was very sweet and patient in explaining the options to my die heard gujju food loving hubby. The food was very tasty and had a home cooked feel to it. I could easily devour their rotis. Ambience is meh, but food is fantastic, who cares for ambience any way right? ;)

Khushoo is a fabulous restaurant. The best vegetarian fare in town, specially if you are into chaats, and thalis. The service is great and its like taking a trip to your grandma’s home, where you get treated like you would at home. The food is fresh, hot, simply delicious, not oily at all. Its a hidden gem!

Worst Indian place of all in Edsion, NJ Food was oily, bathroom was stinky, owner was rude and unfriendly. And, to make it worse saw a rat pass by. Please do not go if you care about your health

They are the best caterers in town! I was a little skeptical about having them for my wedding because they were not as popular as the the other folks(Rasoi, Chowpatty). But they far surpassed my expectations for all 4 occasions I had catered from them. A year later people still compliment the food that was served at my wedding. The food was always fresh, well presented and the staff very pleasant.

Spend moments reviewing my reviews and you’d know I adore Indian cuisine more than anything else. While I’m totally up for new experiences and already mentioned my love of Indian cuisine, I would label this location as being«not for tourists.» This might not be where you want to take your friend who has never yet tried an Indian curry or even a samosa. This is more the speed of someone experienced, and I was happy to stumble upon it. In atmosphere, the restaurant is somewhat set up like a diner, with small tables and a deli type counter with items in the window display. If you are not Indian, then you – like me – will probably find yourself far in the minority for the restaurant attendees and even the shopping plaza where this shop is located. I take this as a very good sign, usually being able to assume that the cuisine is more authentic. It also allows me the opportunity to soak in new experiences with friendly people of a different and vibrant culture. The menu consists of a wide variety of Northern, Southern, and Western dishes, mainly focused on Southern dishes. A variety of thalis and dosas are available. Additionally their beverage, dessert, snacks, and sweets selections are wide. While Northern«snacks»(read: appetizers or side dishes for what they note) are available, few are what can typically be expected from restaurants selling Northern Indian cuisine. Prices are very reasonable; the most expensive dosa is $ 5.95 and the only items above $ 10 are all you can eat thalis.
