The manager that works there is also the server and she’s beyond rude. She makes you feel as if you’re not welcome and has an attitude towards everything. She is extremely rude!!! As far as the sushi goes, it’s not THAT great. The only good thing about this place is that it’s cheap.

Never returning to this dump. Half of the menu is microwaved pre-packaged or canned food. Our server was a rude. If I knew better I would have bought the ingredients at Kam Man next door at half the price. Their bathrooms were unhygienic. I was passively aggressively accused by my rude server that I had clogged the toilet. Way to make your customers uncomfortable by announcing to your restaurant loudly that the toilet is clogged with brown water.

Absolutely delicious. I got the vegetable ramen soup with miso broth and vegetable spring rolls. They were delicious and fairly priced. Honestly, it was the best vegetable ramen I’ve had in this area of NJ. The server was very friendly and attentive. I wish I had gotten his name; I would have included it in the review! He was a very nice guy.

I usually don’t give negative review but this place is just too bad to give even a neutral one. The service is terrible. Especially when we ordered, they waitress had an attitude and didn’t treat us with respect. We ordered two Ramens and a lunch box, all of which were just acceptable and didn’t taste good. I won’t come back again.

Came here since we couldn’t find the Vietnamese place in this area. The waitress was sweet and attentive, the place was quiet and clean. I ordered the Seafood Ramen soup and it was okay. They put dark eggs into the soup which is not something I generally enjoy, my fault for not asking. The shrimp were normal boiled shrimp, the crab meat was the artificial kind and didn’t taste like anything special. The noodles was cooked correctly, the broth wasn’t as flavorful as it could have been. I will be going back to update and provide a better review. The portions are huge though so be forewarned this would be a sharing plate and order an appetizer. My friend ordered the sushi and said that they did have really fresh and delicious fish for the sushi. Which is something that will make me go back to this place to try.

The gua bao(pork belly bao) is decent with enough pork and plenty of sauce and crushed peanuts. While the oyster omelette and beef noodle soup were average, nothing special but enough to hold over any Taiwan street food cravings you may have. Sushi, on the other hand, is straight-up terrible. The raw fish is low quality and has almost a rough texture. Service was good at first, but as the place filled up it became harder and harder to find a waiter. In the end, it took 30 min and many requests just to get our check.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while after seeing it advertised in magazines. When we arrived an hour before closing, all the tables were occupied. We got seated pretty quick after a table of 3 left. I ordered the Seafood Kimchi Ramen and Spider Roll Combo. Hubs was a little disappointed in the ramen but I liked it because it was spicy. It had a lot of seafood in there but the egg was my favorite! Daughter ordered the Chirashi and liked it a lot. The presentation was pretty. She never had a bowl of raw fish on top of rice before, so she liked it a lot. Hubs ordered the oyster omelette and liked it. I thought it was ok but I liked the tapioca in it. Service was friendly but missing a bit. Our teas never got replenished unless we asked for it. It also wasn’t that hot. Will return to try other items on the menu.

Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance. Once you step inside be prepared for some great food. This place is located in the same plaza as the shop right. The sushi was fantastic and reasonably priced. There curry Ramen was delicious and the portion size is ridiculously large. Don’t make the mistake reeded just order one Ramen to share and sushi. And even then there still may be leftovers. Definitely a place to revisit and explore other menu items well done noodles plus!

Chicken Teriyaki on rice is too salty. I also ordered fried pork ramen, they put fried pork into the ramen that made it soften. Also they over cooked the ramen noodles. Just only sushi can eat.

Visited for the first time today with my family. The atmosphere and service were both descent. A Xerox poster on the wall advertised about the $ 1 Rice Noodle Soup weekend special and we didn’t regret trying it. Also tried a 6 piece Avocado Roll for $ 1.99 just to see if anything is compromised for the cheap ticket price, and we weren’t disappointed. The $ 3.95 Pork Belly Bao(a.k.a. Taiwanese Burger) was the best price we’ve ever seen outside of Taipei. While it was of good size and taste, the buns were soggy(due to improper steaming) for all three that we ordered. So that was a bit of a bummer. The Beef Noodle soup was a disappointment. Not much favor and the beef chunks were few and far in between. On the other hand, their $ 7.95 Sukiyaki Beef Ramen was the *BEST* ramen noodle soup we’ve ever had, even surpassing our experiences in NYC and Tokyo. The big portion of ramen was served in a giant stainless bowl, garnished with a variety of ingredients(beef slices, mung bean sprouts, fish cake, simulate crab leg, soy sauce egg, etc). We’ll be trying this dish again next time we’re in the area. We’ll definitely be back again!

Great service, quiet ambiance, very clean, affordable sushi, yummy pork belly baos! I haven’t tried the noodles yet, but based on the quality of the food I have ordered from here I’m sure they do their namesake justice too.

Pretty solid Taiwanese joint serving a mix of TW street foods, sushi, and different kinds of ramen. It’s a small place next to ShopRite – look for a white sign with red lettering. My group and I were one of only two tables during our 1.5 hour lunch here. Pork Belly Bao($ 2.95): Solid gua bao. The pork was tender, flavorful, and still a bit juicy when it was served. There were plenty of crushed peanuts that pretty much overpowered the pickled mustard greens, but it’s still good. I could hardly taste the sauce, though, since there was only half a spoonful spread on the bao – which was a bit on the dry side, by the way. Salt and Pepper Fried Chicken($ 4.95): I definitely enjoyed these. I’ve had S&P chicken from other Taiwanese restaurants in Edison, but they tend to be a little too salty at times. The chicken here is fried to order, juicy, crispy, crunchy, and relatively light on the saltiness. Each bowl has maybe five to seven pieces depending on the size of each piece. Taiwanese Slice Pork Over Rice w/Assorted Vegetables and Soy Egg($ 7.95): Unfortunately, the sliced pork was pretty disappointing; I should have picked the chicken or tofu. Portions wise, you will be pretty full – generous serving of rice, pickled bamboo shoots, and braised tofu slices; it also came with a soy egg. The sliced pork, however, was borderline bland/almost flavorless. It is just slices of boiled pork with barely any sauce. In fact, I think all of the sauce was added to the rice. The vegetables were tasty, as was the soy egg, but the pork – the star of the dish – was a turnoff. We also ordered the following: Minced Pork w/Pork Belly Over Rice($ 4.95) Beef Sukiyaki Over Rice w/Miso($ 7.95) California Roll($ 3) Blue Ocean Special Sushi Roll($ 12) The sushi were made well and tasted as I expected – standard but still good. I can’t comment on the other dishes since two others ordered them. Overall, I think this place would be a solid option for someone looking for cheap eats or a quick bite during lunch.

Love this place. Pork Belly Bao is my favorite. Sushi is always on point and fresh. Great value without sacrificing quality. They do take out and also have online ordering. Been going here quite sometime now. Ramen is as authentic as it can be. Their Pork based ramen with crispy chicken is the best! love this place. clean, friendly, and quick service.

This place was decent. We came here on a Sunday night and they had a decent amount of people. Ordered a bunch items like oyster pancake, fried cube chicken with basil, avocado salad and my husband had their Ramen. Everything tasted decent. Portion was generous besides the avocado salad. My friend who ordered their sushi seemed to like it as well Service was a bit lacking. We had to flag them down for everything but that’s with all Asian places I guess Overall it’s decent and you can BYOB. :)

Came here at the request of my sister, who I had to treat out for getting good grades. My mom and sister both ordered Ramen(Miso and Shoyu), which came out to be too salty for our taste. The broth was weak and had no body, it probably needs to spend some more time at the gym. I ordered the Chicken Katsu w/Rice and specifically asked if it was a Japanese style Chicken Katsu Curry Rice. The server assured me that it was. Well, it wasn’t. I think there was a language or communication issue somewhere there. On top of that, there was one chunky fly constantly buzzing around like a drunken airplane during our visit. C’mon now, I can sympathize if the store was swamped with customers or something, but that wasn’t the case. Overall, Noodles Plus is pretty average. There just doesn’t seem to be anything on the menu that would have me coming back for more.

I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while and was glad that I was able to go today. I was eager to try the ramen and ordered the fried pork with pork base ramen. I was very disappointed when it came out as the ramen was very overcooked! The noodles were soggy and it just didn’t have the chewy texture it’s supposed to have. The soup base was decent though and the fried pork was great! I do have to mention though that the serving size was huge! It came out in this big metal bowl that quite surprised us. We also ordered a few rolls from their discounted list but there was nothing special about them. 3 out of the 4 rolls we ordered had the same sauce drizzled on top which made them all taste the same. We also ordered the minced pork with pork belly over rice. There was no minced pork and not much flavor to the pork belly. Everything was pretty much soy sauce flavored. Pricing wise, everything was very affordable. I doubt I’d go back again though.

It’s a Soso place. Advantage: next to shoprite. So when you come for your grocery shopping you can consider eating here but I wouldn’t come just for it. Disadvantage: mediocre food. I tried both the signature Japanese(house special kimchi pork ramen) and Taiwanese(braised pork over rice) dishes and one my favorite Taiwanese appetizer/snack shrimp pancake and they were all mediocre and kinda disappointing. And dish presentation aesthetics is lacking… I took the pics without any rearrangement to illustrate the need of more work on presentations of their food. They do have prompt service so I do give them credits for that(but also prob coz its downtime).

Stumbled upon this place while searching for a piping hot bowl of Ramen on a cold winter day. Tucked away in an inconspicuous corner of an equally inconspicuous plaza, it can be a little hard to find for those unfamiliar with the area. Looking at the menu, I was surprised by the variety of food and was tempted to go for the really affordable sushi rolls($ 6 – 9!!) and Taiwanese street food. I stuck to my guns, however, and ordered the Pork Ramen. They have a choice of bone, tom yum, and curry soup. I went with the bone. You have the option of adding a sushi roll for $ 3 and I went with the soft shell crab roll. The bowl was MASSIVE and I immediately regretted adding the sushi roll. Tastewise, the broth and noodles were average, the pork was pretty good, and the roll would’ve been better if they had used a better grade of sushi rice. The texture was almost like regular rice. You definitely get your money’s worth of food here as far as the portions go but the food seemed mediocre to me. I wouldn’t come back for the ramen, but I might for the Taiwanese street food as the consensus seems favorable according to the other reviews.
