You know, out of all the fast food taco places… I have to give Del Taco the«besty» award. The food is fresh and tasty. Service is prompt and fast. You don’t ever have to guess if it is real beef or chicken.

I have been to this location several times and it’s always clean inside and the employees are friendly. My normal order is a spicy chicken burrito, 2 grilled chicken soft tacos, and a churro. The fresh ingredients and seasoning of the chicken keeps me coming back. You can’t get this quality at any other of the nearby fast food Mexican restaurants. My favorite is the churro. It is always fresh and rolled in an abundance of cinnamon and sugar. They remind me of the churros I would get on the west coast or Arizona. Lastly their taco sauce packets blows away the competition! Based on the other reviews, I don’t think Oklahoman’s know what real West Coast fast Mexican food taste like. This is it and it’s wonderful!

King among OKC fast food circuit. Impeccably clean inside with visible fridges full of fresh produce and cheese they draw from, and shockingly tasty given the rock-bottom prices. Late hours which is a plus — only downside is the Edmond location that’s not quite central enough for impulse trips(a blessing and a curse).

I’ve heard Del Taco was really good, so I stopped and picked up 3 Del Tacos to go today. They were fresh and delicious… however since I drove 30 minutes round trip just to try them, I literally could have gotten the same exact tacos at Taco Bell 3 blocks from my apartment. I’ll go back to Del Taco and try some other things in the future when I’m in the area, but I won’t be driving all the way over there again specifically for tacos.

I have seen the Del Taco in Edmond for several months. I decided to try it out today. The order taker was friendly and informative. I ordered a del taco, a burrito, a mini bacon quesadilla and a churro. The quality of the food presented was fine for a fast food venu. I was not pleased with the spices used on the taco meat. It was unpleasantly earthy and taste too much of cumin. The burrito bland and unremarkable. The quesadilla was fine but not worth a trip by itself. The Churro was the biggest disappointment. It was encrusted with too much sugar and unpleasantly dense. The atmosphere had a clean 70’s feel that was not unpleasant. All in all I do not plan to return.
