We had a group of people who just wanted to eat breakfast for dinner. This was not accomplished in a timely manner at all. I don’t know what was going on with our server, or the other staff, but they were running around in circles, meanwhile there were many tables of guests who did not have food or drinks. It took a long time to get our drinks, take our order, receive coffee, and get the bill. Refill the coffee? Forget about it. Never happened. The second time I have gone, in the morning, I received the same slow service. The menu at Denny’s has changed for the better, with gluten-free options, and some healthier choices; however, by the time the food got to us we would have eaten anything. We were looking for a quick diner pace, not a slow dinner.

Late at night it is one of the few places open. Staff is so-so. Food was decent. Nothing to write home about. I have had better at other locations. I agree with another reviewer about the clientele in the restaurant being less than desireable towards the end of the evening. Out of place thugs and drunks seem to wander in, standing out like a sore thumb.

We travel to Edmond on business /training about every six months over a long weekend. Morning for us are a bit rushed due to early class times and late night social gatherings. We need a place that is a known in that the food and service will be good and quick. This Denny’s fits the bill! Mr. Ray has been a gracious host and server at Denny’s as long as we have been trekking to Edmond. He’s quick to seat you, get you drinks and take your order, all the while delivering great wit that will put a smile on your face. The cooking staff does a great job putting together a breakfast that tastes great and fills your belly. It’s served up quick and with a smile by Mr. Ray who checks on you and gives you a cup of coffee to go. The store is clean and bright, and welcoming! Stop in and have a great breakfast and say Hi to Mr. Ray!

It was late at night in the midst of a winter storm and they were open. That is about the end of the positives. Food was greasy and nasty. I am not sure how grilled chicken manages to get greasy, but it did here. The other clientele in the restaurant around 10:30 at night were less than desirable. Someone had dropped a plate of food on the floor before we arrived and it was still there when we left. If it is late at night, nothing else is open and you are starving, then this is probably an ok place. If all of the above criteria are not met, I’d prefer to either go hungry or get something from a gas station.

Came here for breakfast after a long road trip from denver. We drove all night and arrived here. We were greeted by a mr. ray and mr. ray was pretty friendly and helpful. Mr. Ray is a friendly knowledgeable older african american gentleman. Everyone seems to know this guy’s name! Look out for him for breakfast. Anyways, food came out quickly and was like other denny’s. Ordered the skillet dish and headed back on the road. It was meh. The best part of it were the oozing overeasy eggs. Like anthony bourdain, i couldn’t ever turn down runny eggs. Yum.
