went out of town last weekend with a close friend and ended up checking out this place. i’ve seen it before, heard it was pretty good, so we decided to eat here. atmosphere was great for a sports bar/restaurant. the restaurant and bar area were separated in a way that you could hear and see the game but it wasn’t overwhelming, in a sense. thankfully, the people watching the game weren’t obnoxious and drunkenly screaming the whole time. i ordered their alfredo pasta pie. interesting concept and it was carried out in a great way. their sauce was like nothing i’ve ever tasted and so rich in flavor though i found myself wishing there was more of it. the pasta pie itself was held together with A LOT of cheese, which is good for a cheese lover like me. i didn’t eat the chicken on the side(i was too full by the time i got to it) but my friend said that it was very tender, moist, and full of flavor. unfortunately, this place is not in OKC or else i would frequent Old Chicago and try more of their dishes.

After a day of driving around Roxie, my best friend, and I decided to stop here for some form of dinner/lunch. As we walked in we were surrounded by the smell of enticing Italian, and the atmosphere was spectacular. It was busy and lively, but quiet and comfortable. The hostesses were polite, and our waitress, Maria, was über kind. Since we went on a spontaneous note we had no clue what we were going to get, and spent quite a bit of time looking over the menu. When questions arose about items on the menu Maria was extremely informative. I ordered a calazone, with Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, and Peppered Bacon. While my partner in crime ordered a Caesar Salad, and an Oh My Spaghetti Pie. Which is basically a pie composed of pasta held together with cheese, and covered in a sauce of your choosing. The one she ordered came with Alfredo Sauce, Chicken, and a side of Garlic Bread. The Caesar Salad arrived only moments after it was ordered. It was well made, the dressing wasn’t too bitter, and the croutons were outstanding. Towards the end of the salad’s short life-span our food arrived. It was as if the food had jumped out of the menu and onto our plates. Both entrées were plated beautifully, and even better both tasted absolutely amazing. The calazone was packed with meat, and oozing cheese, but the spaghetti pie was the truly amazing dish. There was so much cheese inside of the slice of noodles that, if you wanted, you could eat it without the sauce and it would still be amazing. However the Alfredo sauce was spectacular, and complimented the meal in the most exquisite way. Although if you’re a sauce lover I do suggest asking for extra sauce. The dish was extremely creative and, I’m not going to lie, but I loved the pie ten times more than the calazone. Overall the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food even better. As far as price goes expect about $ 15 per adult. If you have the time, or happen to be in the area I definitely recommend stopping by.

Old Chicago restaurants are usually good in general and this one is about the same. Plus, it seems to be one of few places open«later» in Edmond. The boyfriend and I were staying at Two Hearts for our anniversary and were out toward the darker part of night and kinda hungry. Most places were closed or only had the bar with no food at all. OC came through with a limited late night menu, but satiating none-the-less. Great service and pretty good food. always a good choice for night time eats.

One of my favorite Edmond hangouts. This place has an incredible beer selection. Their food is awesome as well. They have everything! Pizzas, burgers, and salads! Amazing happy hour choices there is just not another place like it.

I got the dog bite beer with a mix of angry orchard hard cider and guinness. the spouse got a snake bite and warsteiner. both great taste. I ordered the chicken artichoke pizza, ate every bite. Spouse got fire Calzone he says it was awesome.(he also had more beer than me). I got pretzels with cheese sauce and jalapeños. probably would pass on this next time, but ate them all.

This was recommended as a place to try for pizza. The first time we did take out pizza and salad. The service for picking up and paying for the food was non-existent. «Someone will be right with you.» «Oh! Are you still waiting? They will be here shortly.» «Oh, don’t wait here, go over there.» «Oh did no one come to help you?» The pizza was okay, but not a good value for the price. Portions really small, the salad was not very good either. Dining in experience was about the same for service. The entrees and apps we tried were just okay. Kind of like an old, tired Applebee’s or something. The atmosphere was dark and eerily quiet. Overall, nothing that will bring me back.

Met a business associate for lunch and a few beers. My first impression was the place had a bit of a musty smell and could use a big deep clean. The overall service was fine. The server was attentive and grabbed us a few beers at the right time. The food all in all was not great to OK, thus the three star rating. I ordered the Fish and Chips special which was not great. You might ask fish and chips and I agree, I should have stayed with the pizza. Nonetheless, it was advertised as great and it was really below average. My associate had a pizza and salad. He thought it was all fine, but nothing over the top. I will likely go back and some point due to the great beer menu. Pizza and food wise, I think we have better choices in the area.

Walked in to the smell of cigarettes and was left standing at the front door, with no host to take our name. The place looked like a ghost town. Waited for a couple minutes and still, no host arrived, so, we turned around and left.

Amazing deep dish pizza. I’ve been twice, and both times everything was excellent. On the pricey end for pizza, but you get a TON of food for the money. Definitely worth it.

Ok, so I put 5 stars because my husband loves their pizza. But for me, I try to avoid gluten. So I eat the fried zucchini and cheesecake. I think they make the best cheesecake in Edmond that I have found so far. And I would say that this is the best fried zucchini too. The rest is not for me.

My Fiancée and I took some food to go. It was a Sunday afternoon and not very busy. We waited to be greeted and walked around a bit before someone returned to the front entrance to seat and greet people. After perusing some menus, we were finally greeted and proceeded to order our food. Service was good and the young lady taking our order was nice. Made the process pretty smooth and seamless. After receiving our food, taking it home, and eating it, we came to the conclusion that the food itself was good, but not amazing to our taste buds. Maybe because to was takeout? Either way, it was an adequate fill for the tummy but still left a bit of room on the inside. I ordered a BBQ bacon burger and she ordered the Turkey Club. We may try it again in the future and test out more of the menu. Not a bad place overall, but it should be $ 1 cheaper on the menu items.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Old Chicago today and our server, Erica. We had the pesto panini sandwich with fresh veggies on the side. The veggies were freshly cut and nicely displayed. All were very crisp. The sandwich was very delicious. I was hesitant as I’m not usually a fan of the panini bread, but this was so fresh and just yummy! We had an order of fish and chips that rocked this world. Crispy batterd fish started this off, with crispy fries and amazing slaw that complimented the fish perfectly. We finished it off with a slice of the berry cheesecake! There are berries inside and out… very different… what a treat. Yummy, yummy!

Too bad this place isn’t out here in Southern California. We went out to Edmond/Stillwater to see some of the girlfriend’s family and found a nice place for some great deep dish pizza and sublime beer selection. Mark was our bartender, and he did not disappoint. We had a great time and loved the beer selection and the assistance of Mark to help a local beer fan find the best of the best out OKC. Cheers!

I really enjoyed my salad from here! It had avocado, chicken, spices, and other greatness I cannot remember. If you like fulfilling salads, this will cut it! The service was excellent! Our waitress was sweet and right on target! The atmosphere is mediocre(they could update their sound system because we only heard a bass most of the night). The selection reminds me a lot of BJ’s Restaurant(another chain) if you are familiar with that.

This is by far my favorite hangout in Edmond. I have been coming here for several years as an undergraduate and even now that I live in Seattle, whenever I come back to Oklahoma I make sure to come here! For those into beer, they have a selection that rivals almost everyone in all Oklahoma City, and by far the best in Edmond. Food-wise, their pizza is excellent, but before you dive into their menu, order the Pepperoni Rolls off the appetizer menu, you will not regret it! The bar area is closed off from the restaurant, great for hanging out with friends and watching sports games on the many TV’s. It is perfectly acceptable to drink and smoke while you relax if you so desire. The staff is almost always perfect. Mark and Kim in the Bar especially are amazing. They remember you, what you want, and always have a smile and something to say. Great place, go there tonight!
