Wow, fast service! This is the fastest table turn around I’ve ever seen! Food is always hot and your coffee cup never empty. The staff shows incredible team work which in turn gets you in and out quick! Kudos!

First off, the service was wonderful. Waitress was friendly and efficient. The food however, was terrible. The eggs were cold and the potatoes were rubbery and also cold. The toast was barely toasted.

I love Jimmy’s Egg… at the other locations. Not sure why this joint CONSISTENTLY ruins hash browns. We keep coming back about every 4 – 6 months, and the results are the same mushiness no matter which server or whatever special instructions I give. BTW, at the NW39th& Portland location they don’t need to ask me how great hash browns are made they just do it everyday. Our waitress was a cool lady. I still love the omelets here, the raisin toast is fab, and the coffee is nice, too. See ya again in November, Jimmy… but I’m going to order the home fries.

Not sure why, but this is always the best tasting and most consistent of the north side Jimmy’s Egg’s. Always good

A well established local chain, Jimmy’s Egg has nothing to prove. It does however like any old friend have it’s faults as well as redeeming characteristics. Overlooked high points include their homemade toast. Faults include their dense and very unfluffy biscuits. The gravy is just right and chicken fried Steak is adequate. I always enjoy their crispy hash browns. Their menu has some interesting and landmark choices including their«Garbage breakfast.» The service is usually efficient and friendly. All things considered a place worth visiting.

This location is always so busy when we go to eat here. Their food is pretty good, but the staff is always short staffed when we are there so service is really slow. Still, it’s a good bet for breakfast.

This is a review of the breakfast. Not bad, not great. The food was decent but the waitstaff was really nice! The place was packed. It seems as though there are several of these in the area so some may be better than others. My only complaint is the food was not true to the name. The dishes like Huevos Rancheros or Chiliquiles are not even close to what you would get at a Mexican Restaurant or anywhere down south as far as that dish is concerned. Stick with the American breakfast choices and you’ll be alright.

Being short on time this morning, I chose to eat at the nearest breakfast joint by my house. I wish I would’ve just drove the extra 20 minutes to memorial for better breakfast, but hey I was lazy so it’s my fault. Anyways, I got the Belgian waffle combo. It came with 1 egg and a side of meat. I got a scrabbled egg and turkey sausage. Bad choice because the egg wasn’t even scrabbled it was more like chopped egg remnants and the sausage was like a hockey puck. Waffle smelled good but was bland. Service was alright. I guess since my party and I do not look like great tippers we do not get good service. Stereotypes, gotta hate them. Needless to say I won’t be back.

We met up with the in-laws for a breakfast on Saturday morning which we know from experience that there may be a wait… there was. We got seated quickly though as the in-laws arrived before us so it took about 5 min or so. The service was good not excellent but good and the food, well it wasn’t bad but it did not push Jimmy’s to a 4 star place maybe because I just ordered the traditional breakfast but one good thing is they do give you enough food to fill up the biggest stomach including, ham steak, two eggs, hash browns, two biscuits and a large side of gravy or as I like to refer to it, Oklahoma mayonnaise. Anyways that’s the jist I do like the place the price is not to bad but for about the same you could probably hit up a place like Summit or Coltrane Café just right down the road for a change.

I love the chorizo breakfast — I always replace the tortillas with a different side though! I do enjoy the food, but their wait area is kind of ridiculous. There’s no host/hostess there to take names so everyone has to police each other. An older lady was about to get seated after immediately coming in(I think there were maybe 6 groups in front of her) and a family had to stop her, saying they were there first. Just awkward, it shouldn’t be up to fellow patrons to tell people that. Also, the wait area is basically non-existant so people are crammed around each other waiting to be seated.

Best place for a hot breakfast in Edmond. Large quantities of food. Excellent variety of breakfast foods. Decent environment with some large booths available. Great prices too. Also serve lunch.
