We did pickup and I ordered a gyro and a Greek salad. Instead I got a gyro dinner, and was told it’s the same thing with the same cost. I figured it’s okay but when I got home to eat my food, the salad portion was much smaller. The pita was cold and hard, and so was the rice. The lettuce of the salad was way too big, about 3 bit sizes, and was mostly the lettuce steams. My dinner was horrible and I had to pick through eat for what was actually edible which wasn’t much aside from the meat. All in all a waste of money on food I couldn’t eat. Maybe because I ordered an hour before closing(which is still 7pm, an appropriate dinner time) and they were too lazy to actually give me what I wanted, so they talked me into something different instead. Or maybe they had extra rice to get rid of? I stopped eating here for a few years, for the same reasons, not a good value or quality and bad service. But my favorite Mediterranean place was already closed so I gave this place another chance. They didn’t deserve it. Guess I’ll see them in a few more years, if there’s still in business. If you’re in Edmond, go to Nunu’s instead. Or Mediterranean Imports, or Zorbas. A lot to choose from instead of wasting your time and money here.

Ummm. I am confused. So many people have recommended this place, and maybe that’s why I was less than impressed. We had to ask for napkins. We didn’t get forks. They seemed like we bothered them. The menu is all over the place and it feels very 1975. Just kinda old school with plastic tablecloths in a hideous pattern. The French fries were great!!! I wish I could say the same about the rest of the food. It was alright. Have I had better? Yeah, at most other places.

Welp. Maybe I was wrong the first time. I’ve had this food twice more after my first visit and it was a real bummer. The dolma actually were greasy and MUSHY. Along with that, the tabbouleh was awful. These are foods I generally very much enjoy, so even mediocre versions would still be eaten. But I threw out everything I ordered this last time.

I don’t like eating in here, but I love getting takeout. They have pretty decent food. It’s consistently good. Great lunch spot. Like I said, not a big fan of the inside or service, so my workaround is to get it to go.

For a nice quiet meal, try Let’s Do Greek. The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. The restaurant is located just west of 15th St and Broadway Ext/77. There is plenty of parking. I normally get the Gyro with fries and a drink. Today, I brought my son who got the Thunder Oregano Chicken platter. The latter is a little spicy, but very good. The plate is abundant so don’t snack before you come. The substance in the Gyro seems to be a little thin every time I come, but the over quality of the ingediants are fresh. Customers order from the cashier and dispense their own drinks. Tables are clean. You sit youself. The dining area is separated in two. The inner dinning area is a little dark in comparison to the outer area which is lit up by abundance of nature light. The food is delivered to the table. You pay for gratuity when you pay for your meal when you walk in so your paying up front for an unknown service. Once they place your food on the table, you’ll never see any waitress. I think they would do better if they simply delivered the food and, if service is great, get tipped accordingly. Other than this, I do enjoy coming here.

Quite possibly my favorite restaurant EVER! I like just about everything in the menu but the oregano chicken is the best(either get it regular or a special order without the breading). This is a great family owned place — they really care about their customers and employees.

The food was fantastic, service was great. However after eating we found a roach crawling up the table. This was less than an hour ago. I don’t think we’ll be returning. We frequent this place Fridays with a large group but after this we will be finding a new place.

Pretty good Greek place. The Thunder is a nice local themed dish. Fries are nothing fancy — not bad either, though. The baklava is made in-house and is delicious.

LDG is my jam! I love the works gyro with spicy sauce(the sauce from the oregano chicken). They have a Saturday special on gyro sandwiches that is worth checking out. Not to be overlooked are the greekalicious, the Grecian burger, the arepas, and thunder fries.

I’ve been here five times or so and will be back I’m sure. The food is good overall. The Gyros are excellent. The oregano chicken different and the various sides fine. The rice choices are interesting and worth exploring. I’ve had salads a couple times. They were good but contained too many tough cores and stem pieces. The service is always friendly and helpful.

Does a rainy Monday evening call for Greek food? That is the question I attempted to answer at Edmond’s «Let’s Do Greek» restaurant. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. I ordered an original gyro sandwich with fries. The service was pleasingly fast. The fries were magnificent. They were fresh an had a fluffy inside with a crisp and tender GB&D outer layer. As for the Gyro itself… Well… I’ve had better. The bread was a soft pillow kinda like a pancake with a lot of structure and no sweetness. The Gyro meat was a mildly spiced sponge of gentle disappointment. The Tzaki sauce was sour reminder of it’s cucumbery origin. Again a mild spiciness attempted to lift it’s flavor but only added to the mild disappointment. It, s not a place I will likely return to. Side notes: I found ketchup helped the gyro. I tried some Baklava but found it cloying too sweet but then I haven’t found any Baklava I have liked anywhere. I would rate theirs as average and of good quality with crispy fillo dough and nutty figgy filling that I can only fault for being stereotypically too sweet.

OK, for clarity, this is not 5 stars for being a 5 star restaurant, but 5 stars because THISPLACE has the best gyros in town hands down. I don’t know about authentic, because I unfortunately haven’t been to Greece yet, but they have the best flavor easily with no competition in my eyes for the affordable fare on the menu. If you want a gyro in downtown or in Edmond, until someone can show me somewhere better, this is the place to go. I have probably eaten there 30 times in the past 3 years, and never had bad food. The gyros are always yummy. My friend gets the philly one, and he really likes it. I love the thunder gyro, which combines gyro meat, ham onion and«thunder sauce» which is some tangy spicy concoction. I’m sure the Greeks hate it, but it is an awesome flavor combo. the fries are usually undercooked for my taste, and are usually that starchy not browned color, they’re not bad, so technically they’re overall 4 stars, but 5 for the gyros. Plus I have to make up for that horrible 1 star review that lady who only writes an occasional non 1 star review left.

Worst«Greek» food I’ve ever attempted to eat. Poor in quality of ingredients, authenticity, and execution. I have yet to find a restaurant in all the OKC metro area that does spanikopita half as well as my Ya-Ya, but their deep fried abomination has to be the worst. And what about spicy mayo is supposed to be Greek, exactly? Let’s Do Greek should really think about adding –ish to the end of their name. Then, maybe their renditions of classic recipes could be thought of as tongue in cheek instead of just sad.

I used to be a huge Greek food fan… then I had some bad experiences at some Greek restaurants and have been apprehensive of all Greek restaurants since. Well, I can honestly say that Let’s Do Greek was a nice surprise. After looking through the menu, I settled on the oregano chicken wrap. The presentation, taste, and price all exceeded my expectations. I will say that it didn’t really have that truly«authentic Greek food taste,»(in my opinion) but then again… this is Oklahoma, not some small village in the Mediterranean. For the price, convenience, and an above average«Greek-inspired» menu… Let’s Do Greek is worth a shot if you’re in the area.

I honestly say that I really enjoy Let’s do Greek. The food is good and the service is friendly. But mostly, the prices are cheap! I’ve only gotten the sandwiches, but the gyro @ $ 3.99??? That’s awesome! Drinks and fries for an additional $ 2.50 hike up the price, but if you just skip those and get a gyro it’s cheap! What’s great is that on Saturdays(open until 3pm), gyros are only $ 2.99 each for dine in or take out. I usually eat 2 for lunch then take a few home for dinner. I can’t comment on their other dishes, but if you want a great gyro at $ 3.99, Let’s do greek is your spot.

Let’s Do Greek is my absolute favorite place to go when I’m craving falafel, hummus, spanakopita, and the like. It’s a frequent spot for me as it’s close to work and home! I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience here. The staff are always super friendly and polite. The food is quick and tastes phenomenal. Did you know that they make everything from scratch? A side of hummus and pita bread is worth getting just for the made-from-scratch hummus alone. My go-to tends to be a falafel sandwich, which they load up so fully that it often takes a fork to help me complete it! The shwarma sandwich is delicious as well. If you’re in Edmond and want some good Greek food, definitely stop in here. They even have a punch card if you’re a frequent diner like myself. ;)
