My husband and I love this place! So cozy by the fire or at the bar. I have never had anything I do not like there. Good Italian is hard to come by in OKC, and we love this place!

Ordered appetizers, the garlic bread was dry. The green beans and cheesy bread just ok. Ordered several entrees between our large group and it was just ok. Dessert was delicious! But the 2 servers were very unwelcoming! Don’t know that I’d come back here. Maybe grab some cream cake or cheesecake to go.

We went here to try a «authentic» Italian pizza. So the family went to «The best» in Edmond. NOT! So sad, canned veggies on the pizza and the crust wasn’t even cooked all the way. Won’t be going back. So sad.

I saw a review below that said, «Good lord this place is a train wreck.» He took the words right out of my mouth. We hit this place on a Tuesday evening. There were 3 people at the bar, 3 at a table in the bar area, and 2 at a table in the restaurant. We sat at a table in the bar. I should have known the night wasn’t going to go well when we stood there for 5 minutes waiting for a hostess to show up and seat us. When the waitress finally came, she had no idea what beers they had and she had NOCLUE what COOP was. Come on! They’re only the largest local brewer in the state. We ordered a Maker’s Mark, and F5, two salads and a cup of soup. When I looked at my watch and it had been 30 minutes since our order, I asked our waitress to check on it. She said they were preparing the shrimp for one of the salads. Since grilled shrimp takes about 2 minutes to prepare and the horrendously shitty salads take about 1 minute to prepare, I’m going to take a big guess here and say that she never turned in our order. The salads finally came. The shrimp was NOT grilled but rather baked. It took another 5 minutes to bring out the cup of vegetable soup. On top of it all, we had to ask for silverware. Then the bill came. FIFTY F*CKINGDOLLARS for iceberg lettuce and a couple of drinks. The very least they could have done was comp’d the salads since it took so long. This isn’t my first rodeo with this establishment. I’ve eaten here many times before. The train wreck wasn’t quite this bad, but every time I go the service and food gets worse and worse. This will be my last visit. They will never get another dime of my money.

3 of us enjoyed dinner Sat night. Place was busy so had about a 10 min wait. Service was friendly and fast. Food was great. Glad we had some leftovers for today. We will be back again.

I have plenty of experience in the serving industry. And this place has horrible customer service. Ordered food to go and didn’t get what I paid for. They wouldn’t refund me and acted very put out and rude on the phone. If rude management and snobby service is your cup of tea then this is the place for you.

The atmosphere here is top notch and I’ll go back just on that account. The prices aren’t too bad and the food is pretty solid — not the best Italian I’ve ever had, but good enough to go back again. The servers are great and very friendly. Pretty efficient too.

It was hot as hell in Edmond and my band was playing an outdoor show around the block from Othellos… It was a nice place to get out of the heat for a few Peroni beers and a nice Chef salad. I’m sure this joint is nice during the cold months too.

I had dinner at Othello’s last night. The special was Seafood Risotto and it was superb. All of the dishes looked great. This is a top notch Italian restaurant in the heart of old Edmond. I highly recommend Othello’s!!!

Went there and was rated right away. Had ok service. The lasagna was ok. It was very hot which was great. I hate cold food. The waiter was attentive. The calamari was not good at all. Way over cooked to the point it was leather. Bread basket was not very good either. I am an out of towner so they don’t have to worry about getting my business again.

This review is based on a take out order. We did not eat in the resturant. The folks that gave us our order were kind. We picked up the order as an early dinner(around 4 pm), so we didn’t have to fight for attention at the bar. Now to the food. I hate to say it, but I wasn’t impressed. We ordered a lasagna, spaghetti with meatballs, and Pat’s special. The lasagna was alright, considering the noodles were over cooked. The spaghetti tasted like noodles with canned tomato paste. Pat’s special was probably the best, but again tasted like basic ingredients. Noodles, tomato paste, Tabasco. The food reminded me of dinners I ate as a child in the 80s, made using the cheapest canned and boxed ingredients we could find at the store. Nothing very fresh.

Great atmosphere. Family owned and they love to visit with the guests. Food is good. The bread is awesome! My family has been coming here for years. They put on several events downtown each year that are a blast.

If your in the Edmond area and your looking for great Italian cuisine then this is your place! Expect to wait a bit because they are always busy, yet the wait is worth it! I’ve not had a dish yet that was not fantastic and they have the best coconut cream pie in the known universe!

Good Lord, this place is a train wreck. Man, we gave this place tons of chances too. Every time we craved Italian and didn’t feel like a long drive, this was our go to. Not long ago we made the decision to stop going in. It would be forever takeout only. This was based on the fact that we always, and I mean like 10x in row, got treated poorly. I mean, slow service, rude 18 year old waiter, etc. Now we’ve pretty much hit the point that we won’t do takeout either. Last Friday night they were packed. No shocker, I expected and that didn’t bother me a bit. What did get on my nerves was the fact that the bartenders stood there talking to each other and I had to fight for 10 minutes to get their attention. I realize that a $ 5 tip from me on a $ 20 takeout order isn’t their main source of income, but good Lord! My food is there on the counter and they won’t even make eye contact with me. Just crappy crappy service… But they’re packed, so why fix anything. The Pros: 1) One of only a handful of Italian joints in Edmond… So that’s a pro, I guess. The cons 1) service. Just awful. It’s usually college kids and they just don’t care. It’s clear that they are cheaply gotten labor. 2) always packed. It’s totally turned into Zios. Tons of little league-post game and Frat/Sorority parties. 3) Even take out is tough here. If it’s busy, the bartenders just don’t have time to swipe your card apparently.

After having been given a glowing recommendation from my co-worker, I came into Othello’s with my best friend at about 7 p.m. tonight. The atmosphere was great but everything else, from the service to the food was gravely disappointing. $ 7 for cheese toast I could’ve made myself with the low quality I got. $ 2.75 for maybe 5 ounces of Italian soda with no refills. $ 10.95 for a BURNT chicken parmisiana, and my friend’s $ 8.95 cheese ravioli tasted only slightly better than Chef Boyardee. After having quality Italian food at places like Zio’s and Carraba’s this just doesn’t compete at all. Bland, frozen and thawed. The waitress suggested dessert so we asked if the tiramisu was made in-house or store-bought and when she told us it was trucked in from Chicago we concluded our visit. Not recommended.

Between the wait for a table, ok service and the somewhat pricey food, I don’t think I’ll be making a return visit. Cool atmosphere though.

I went with a group of 8… service was somewhat slow, but it allowed for good conversation. The mozzerella and tomato salad was pretty good, the peach bellini tasted like it had hardly any alcohol. My favorite thing was their pepperoni chips! Fried pepperoni slices dunked in marinara! If you like crispy, burnt pepperonis in your pizza, you need to try those! Overall, a good experience!

If you can handle the wait time of being seated and then waiting for the food this spot is great. There always busy so it’s an average wait of 45 mins to be seated and since everything is made fresh your waiting for your food for some time. I took my kids here for dinner and they ended up falling asleep at table before food got there. Food was excellent though

Tried this place because of reviews on a radio show, sad that we did. Waitress was extremely slow and food was not great. My plate of food was not even edible! Won’t be coming back. Even kids didn’t eat theirs. Waitress didn’t offer to change my food or anything just slammed down the check. We were glad to pay and Leave.
