I want to preface this by saying that I really love Taco Time. I love it more than any normal person should ever love any kind of food establishment with a drive-thru in it. I love it so much in fact, that even after I worked for a Taco Time for 3 years in high school and into college, I still wasn’t sick of it and if anything, loved it even more. So it really pains me to write this review and I’m hoping that they are able to fix the issues at this one so that I can update it to the 5 stars it usually deserves. I live less than a mile away from this location and I eat here pretty frequently, and in addition to items often missing from my order(I check for sides of ranch before I drive off now because they’ve been missing so many times), the mexi-fries and crisp burritos are NEVER hot. I know exactly how long it takes to cook those things, and I understand that the 2 – 4 minutes really slows the line down when it’s busy so a few are prepped ahead of time, but I often come when it’s not busy and everything has clearly been sitting under the warmers for quite a while despite that. It’s to the point where now I request my mexi-fries extra crispy and my crisp burritos fresh because otherwise I end up reheating them in the toaster oven when I get home. Between the lukewarm crispy items, frequently missing ranch and soft tacos, and then a snippy comment last week about not being set up for the app, I might have to drive down to 145th for my fix from now on. Disappointing TT :(

Just an update to my review from last year. This Taco Time location is closer to my house than the one in Lynnwood and since the management said they were looking into the problems I’ve had previously, I tried again tonight. BIGMISTAKE. Same shoddy food. I’m not sure why but the mexi fries didn’t appear cooked, but were super greasy and heavy, and while I don’t think they have fish on their menu, they tasted like they had been fried with fish(I don’t think Taco Time even serves fish). Gross. Same with the crispy beef burrito. The beef soft taco seemed to have a bit more filling from the last review, but there were NO tomatoes. Maybe this location doesn’t do tomatoes? The beef was very salty and the bottom of my taco was hard and dried out when I got it home(five minutes away) and the tortilla seems thicker than all the other locations so the fillings still seemed sparse. I’m over this location. Having patronized the chain for the last 30 years, I’m done with this one. I will go a mile further to the Lynnwood/196th location. At least that one is consistent with the quality and flavor I have come to expect from Taco Time.

Poor service, no special orders. «Manager Chris» said they can only serve what is shipped to store. nothing fresh. Dining area a mess. I think health department would have fun in here.

I like Taco Time, but this one is not up to par with other Taco Time restaurants. They have very few sodas to choose from unlike other Taco Times that have 100+ selections. When I went in the empty tables had food and or newspapers on the tables. I had to clean a table so I would have a place to sit. There was also dried cheese, sour cream and hot sauce on the floor. A staff was taking food to tables, but never stopped and cleaned up the empty dirty tables.

Being from the East Coast, I’ve never heard of Taco Time. I had it the other day and felt like the East Coast isn’t missing much. Their light chicken burrito and veggie burrito were just ok. I think I would rather Taco Bell.

If you aren’t originally from the PNW, then please stop reading this and just head on over to Taco Bell. It’s been a few years since the remodel was completed, I just haven’t had the chance to update my review. This store is the closest for me to get my «CRISP» burrito groove on. Bean, chicken or beef, they are all good. This unit has great staff, and get my order correct as I two wheel it through the drive though on the way out and about. Dine-in doesn’t have the Coca-cola Nimbus 5000 but they do have free refills. MEXIFRIES! MEXIFRIES! Sorry… was I saying something???

Where i am from we don’t have taco time. Lucky for taco bell cause this place is way better. What really stood out were the taco shell on the crispy beef and the tortilla on the baja taco. They tasted fresh made. The tacos were better than most sit down mexican restaurants i have sampled. Apparently there is a big difference in Western Washingto Taco Times(like this one) and all others. Glad i stumbled onto this one.

I love this taco time so much! It’s [very] clean and the food tastes great! Although, their drive-thru service could use some work on getting the orders done correctly! I enjoy the mini-time meals which get up to 600 cals! Oh and those mexi fries are my hallelujah!

Taco Time needs a consistent credit card acceptance policy across their locations… go to one, they tack on a fee if you use a card. Others(this one) choose not to accept Amex. How harrd is it to keep this consistent? Also, no freestyle touch screen soda machine? Lame… skip this one and try one of their other locations.

Taco Time offers better fast food than most chains. The fish tacos with pickled vegetables are downright tasty and a heck of a lot better than that oat bran beef mixture that Taco Bell offers in their«beef» products. Service here is almost always prompt and courteous. They bring it to your table usually. They charge a 40 cent fee if you use a debit card.

Yes it’s a little bit more expensive then taco bell but the food is a hell of a lot better and fresher. I really like this location cause the people working here are very friendly and very quick in getting you your order. The food is always prepared fresh and hot for every order so it doesn’t have to sit under a heat lamp to keep warm. I have yet to go inside and order I stick with the drive thru since it’s easier for me. The building itself looks like really new and from some of the older reviews it was remodeled recently. My favorite meal to get is the either the BBQ chicken soft taco with Mexi fries and a soda for under $ 10 or the Enchilada platter that comes with two beef or chicken enchiladas, pinto beans, rice and chips for somewhere around $ 8.00. A must have is the hot sauce that they make. There is nothing better then dipping your Mexi fries into it or putting it on your burrito or taco.

Like most women, I friggin love Taco Time. I have a girlfriend who now lives in Florida(NO Taco Time) and the first thing we do is hit Taco Time a time or two when she’s in town. I have a natural homing instinct and am somehow able to find the nearest Taco Time despite being in new and unfamiliar neighborhoods. Imagine my shock then, when one day, this particular Taco Time disappeared from it’s lot. Overnight, it was gone. The horror! Luckily a few months later a brand spanking new one suddenly appeared in the same spot. No matter, but I’m continually thankful that it’s there since it is closest to our house and the Taco Time off 143 and Aurora has a weird drive-thru. Love the natural soft burritos(chicken or beef), the soft tacos, the fish tacos, the crisp burritos and the mexi fries. We always get the sour cream ranch sauce for dipping. It’s fast food Mexican and not exactly healthy but it’s a better option that some places. And though it costs more than McDonalds and Taco Bell, it’s far more tasty.

This Taco Time is no longer closed for remodeling — the remodel has been complete for some time now and the place still looks all shiny and brand-new. Service is quick and accurate, the staff are super friendly, and the food is tasty. The location is awesome because it’s super close to my house. The drive-thru is open late(well, 10pm on weeknights!), which is excellent for a late dinner taco run. I recommend this location!
