One of our favorites. Cheese and wine, followed by a walk downtown — can’t ask for a better afternoon than that! Nice staff, cute simple decorations and amazing cheese selection.

I have eaten here a few times and have loved everything I’ve tried! Good food and decent portion size. Seating is a bit cramped but still worth it!

Yum, and they have Gluten Free breads… homemade soup, and they know their cheese. Service is quick, good and I have hosted several lunch meetings with several of us ordering different foods. All my staff were pleased. Haven’t experienced a glitch yet. They are consistently good.

Delicious cheese board, turkey and Brie sandwich was off the chain, free truffle popcorn is tasty, cookies are incredible, orange tinted rose is great and everything was enjoyed in a peaceful and relaxed environment.

Absolutely fabulous. I’ve had both the Toscano sandwich(a huge helping of prosciutto paired with gorgonzola and arugula on ciabatta) and the Parisian(madrange ham with brie on a buttered baguette) and they were just incredible. SOMUCHBRIE! Also enjoyed a cup of the roasted garlic soup, which was beyond amazing. I wasn’t really sure what could be in it(and frankly don’t remember what the board said) but it was out of this world, and so much more than garlic. One of the cooks started making a new batch of it while I was there, and the smells were completely distracting. I was trying to study and all I wanted to do was shove the guy to the ground and steal his 5-gallon pot of sweet garlic soup. Super nice staff, and I truly appreciate that they have a spot where you can pour your own water. I never order drinks, and I’m a thirsty person. I can’t ever enjoy a meal when a place will only give me one courtesy cup of water. The whole ambiance of the place is just the best, and very Edmonds-y.

Had birthday lunch here Sunday, have been wanting to try it for a while and the reviews were so great. It was fine, but I don’t get the raves. I had the turkey Reuben. Issues: coleslaw instead of sauerkraut, cheese not melted, no discernible mustard. So just okay as opposed to special. Also the tomato soup: very basic, not special. All in all, I’d try it again, perhaps I made poor choices, but so far not super impressed.

Good food in general but not always consistent and some of the grilled cheese sandwiches are a bit too greasy. The staff is always friendly and the ambiance is nice. Had to knock out a star for the stale popcorn I was given twice. Next time I’ll just ask for the chips.

Went here for the first time today on my bosses recommendation. I got a cup of the smokey tomato soup and half of the Ol’smokey sandwich with ham added on. It was DELISH! And to my surprise it came with a little bag of truffle salt popcorn. The popcorn was quite stale so I didn’t eat much of it but the flavor was excellent. I’m glad I grabbed a packet of the truffle salt while I was there. As all the restaurants in downtown Edmonds it was a little spendy– $ 12 for half a sandwich and a small cup of soup– but the quality of the ingredients makes it a pretty good lunch option. I will definitely be heading back soon, probably for happy hour!

Come see the Cheesemonger’s! I’ve been several times and eat time has been 5+ Stars. Excellent customer service, great soups, freshly made sandwiches with quality ingredients, huge selection of charcuterie and did I mention the CHEESE!!! I had the Parisian today and although I’ve been many times this is the sandwich that prompted me to declare my love publicly. Don’t forget a cup of the smoked Tomato soup for dippin!

This place is great, found it on Unilocal. We were looking for a good sandwich spot, and what we stumbled upon was an amazing restaurant! Amazing cheeses. I had a sandwich with Salami, cheese, and garlic aioli. Highly recommend it!!!

The Guilty Pleasure. It’s a grilled cheese sandwich that defies its breed. I have eaten it multiple times a week before. I used to make sandwiches at the ol’ Bill the Butcher, and I have to say Cheesemonger has nailed what we were only striving for. Their Reuben as well as the pimiento grilled cheese are two others that impressed me, as well as a cold sandwich that featured tapenade and an array of cold meats(I can’t remember the name). They could fill the popcorn baggies a little fuller. This place is always clean, with moderately friendly employees and amazing food. It can get hectic, with long waits around lunchtime because the locals know what’s up.

Thrive on this place for cheeses galore and they have duck eggs. Can’t go wrong when with salami choices either. Grilled cheese sammiches and soups.

Nice location, decent food. I usually get the turkey and Brie heated sandwich and the tomato soup. Get your water to the right of the register. Seating can be hard to find but outside seating is good. Small menu selection which is why this got 3 stars and I don’t like that they give you popcorn as a side.

Every sandwich we had was really good and totally lived up to the handcrafted touch and quality ingredients that go in their sandwiches. We will be back! The bread was fresh, the cheese was melted, stretchy and delicious and the meats were just the right complement.

So many wonderful items! The menu is awesome and not very expensive. They will let you sample any of the cheese they sell before you buy it and cut as much as you want. We got two different kinds of platters grilled cheese and mac and cheese, it was all delicious! The gentleman behind the cheese counter is so amazing and friendly to everyone that walks through the door. Will be coming back anytime we are in the area.

Quaint little spot in Edmonds, I’ll start by saying we are lovers of cheese and charcuterie and often whip up platters at home on a regular basis. I would have liked a better description of the cheese and meats upon arrival. The fig jam was great, my hubby would have preferred crackers over a small baguettes’, I’m impartial. My gripe would be I found it to be a little overpriced .also, I was hoping for a good pinot. Place was ok, probably won’t be returning but, it was fun to check it out.

Fantastic selection of amazing sandwiches. You can’t go wrong with anyone you pick, and I love how you get truffle popcorn with your order instead of the usual fries or chips. Brilliant!

CHEESEMONGER. Ugh, why are you so perfect? Let me count the ways: 1) Best. Sandwiches. Ever. Pick a sandwich, any sandwich. I am salivating just thinking about THEBESTSANDWICH I’VEEVERHAD. I didn’t know sandwiches could be so amazing. And they give you complimentary truffle butter popcorn. I can’t even believe that I’m lucky enough to live in the same town as these awesome sandwiches. 2) They carry Rogue River Bleu cheese, not the knockoff kind you see at the store, but the good kind, wrapped in grape leaves. Buy it. Or wait, don’t buy it so there’s more for me. 3) Fantastic rotating cheese selection. Sometimes it’s disappointing when they don’t have my faves, but sometimes it pays to experiment, amirite? 4) Delightful staff. They pretty much insist that you try all of the cheeses. Can’t say no to that! 5) Zoe’s salami. Try all of the kinds and you’ll blow half your paycheck buying everything because you pretty much have no choice. They carry Salumi brand too, but I find Zoe’s to be better. 6) Great selection of cheese accessories. Olives, fresh eggs(duck AND chicken), crackers, breads, jams, preserves, chutneys, whatever. Cheese stones, little cheese knives… Perfect for the cheese fiend on your holiday list! There’s a ton of reasons that you need to drop everything and come to the Cheesemonger immediately, but those should be enough to get you out the door. Try the Ewephoria, you won’t be disappointed.

Don’t let their expanse of cheese options deter you if you’re vegan, and don’t let their choice of breads distract you if you’re gluten-free. The Cheesemonger’s Table accommodates, and it will wow you. Of course, if you don’t have any dietary restrictions, dive right in. Seriously, go for it! They have one of the most extensive cheese selections in the Seattle area and they import cheese from around the globe! Their menu will satisfy any appetite with a quick nosh or a hearty plate. The restaurant itself is tiny, but nestled in a charming downtown Edmonds location. On a clear day, you’ll want to take your sandwiches to-go and sit outside or walk around the neighborhood. I had the tomato soup with my lunch(so much flavor!), and was pleasantly surprised that they serve truffled popcorn on the side. Well played.
