Wide Shoes Only

Yesterday I entered this store in Edmonds where I was greeted by a woman who kept looking me up and down and staring at my new New Balance shoes. As I approached her she asked if I had ever bought shoes at the store. I replied yes. I had bought shoes for my Mother and once for myself. She then pressed me to look up these sales. I did not want to look up these previous shoe sales because the account was under my Mother’s name with my Mother’s old phone number which I could not remember (she had lived briefly in assisted living and had the number for 4 months. I told the woman I just wanted to try on a pair of Aravon shoes which she would not allow me to do. I walked out of the store and she shooed me out of the store as if I was a criminal or a bad person. I have never been treated this way by a merchant for no reason other than she did not like me from the moment I walked into the store. So customers beware. FYI I have spent about $ 1000 this year on shoes because of a poor outcome from foot surgery. I would have been pleased to buy if I had been treated nicely.

I went in today and Lina helped me. She found me a pair of New Balance tennis shoes that worked with my orthotic. She was patient with me and I was so happy to get out of my Darco sandals! I also bought some diabetic socks there… they were the same price they sold for at Fred Meyer. I’ll be back.

I’ve gone to this store 3 times over a 7 year period. The staff has changed over the years. At my first visit, I bought a work shoe and a sneaker. However, I read on Amazon that the size of the Beast shoe had changed, so I wanted to make sure it would fit. I tried on the New Balance and the Beast and stuck with the Beast. I wanted to buy another pair, but the next delivery was Wed, so I left with one pair. The young girl who helped me was nice and gave me a lot of attention. As I left the store, a couple came in. So I guess it helps if you come in during the day when they’re not busy. If you’re looking for a specific brand, call them as it is a small store and they may not have the brand or the size you want. Cost was about 150, but as I walk a lot, I need a pair of comfortable shoes.

The ladies that helped me at first were very nice. But I should have looked closer at the boot. Oil resistant but not slip resistant. I took them back and the little asian man behind counter started yelling and telling me they were slip resistant. Look bud I work in the oil industry I know these arnt slip resistant. Then he told me I would have to come back to return since it was only 1130am not my problem and maybe if u wernt rude I would have. Long story short I got my cash before I left and will never return.

Selection stinks, if you have unusual feet!
Their website says «We know difficult feet! «but apparently that doesn’t mean they carry those shoe sizes. I have a women’s size 13 wide, they only carry up to a size 12 (so does everyone else) they didn’t even offer me women’s shoes, they walked right over to the men’s selection about pulled out some god awful, ugly, masculine shoes. My point to the sales person was, if I’m going to pay 200 — 500 for woman’s shoes, I expect to have feminine shoes. I can buy men’s shoes anywhere. Very disappointed.

I went looking for something pretty and comfortable to wear with my summer skirts and found it. I wear a 6 ½ WW shoe. They have a wide selection of many kinds of shoes from sport, walking, comfort and dress shoes to straight up granny shoes. Here comfort does not mean any lack of fashion or style. The store looks small but the selection is not.
The staff was very helpful and knew there stuff. No pressure to buy. Great store and great service. Loved it! I will be going there again.

They are the only ALL WIDE SHOES STORE around the Puget Sound. Do you know any other all wide shoe store? Thank goodness they are not another orthopedic shoe store. Actually has cute fashinable shoes in wide sizes !!
