My wife and I went to Denny’s on Jamacha Rd. for Breakfast and had a good meal. My wife had the Country-​Fried Steak & Eggs and I had the Lumber Jack Slam which was Huge ! Everything was very good and cooked nicely. Our server was also very nice and pleasant.

Bad experience waited forever to get seated waitress had a bit of an attitude the food for one of the people that was with us didn’t come out until everyone was done with their food most of our food was over cooked or just plain burnt we finally asked for the check and had to wait about 30 minutes or more to get them sorted it out because they messed up on the orders

Compared to other bad Denny’s restaurants like the one in National City where nobody took responsibility, this Denny’s the people are working hard and moving fast, and they got everything under control! Like the food and they got everything correctly!

Its thanksgiving day and dennys is always open, good prices and good portions the food is alright, but I come here for breakfast and jt never disappoints. I’ve been coming here with my family and friends since i was a kid. Never dissatisfied.

Not a good option. My wife and I went here. They over cooked my pancakes and didn’t bring hers out until we were done with the rest with our food. Not very good service.

This is the worst Denny’s ever! IF I COULD RATE A ZERO I WOULD. Greeting from across the room, zero. The waiters give attitude & the people who clean the tabes were rude too. We asked for napkins to clean our spill and they looked at us & ignored us. Gave us our food late, and probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

My visit today just reconfirmed why I never eat here. My buddy insisted on eating here and I thought «you know what» «Denny’s has been around forever» they must be doing something right”…WRONG. Our server was nice except tried to up sell us on just about everything for our meal… extra Cheese, toast, drink options etc. Now this is the real reason they get zero stars. I ordered a skillet with potatoes eggs and veggies. The server offers me Tabasco and some other bottle type hot sauces. So I asked if I could have salsa. He says sure and brings me a small side of it. Much to my surprise… boom…they charged me for it on my receipt. REALLY Denny’s??? Really??? We are charging for salsa now??? So I’m assuming the ketchup on the table and the two other bottles of «condiments» that were free are now gonna show up on my receipt??? I literally have never paid for salsa at any other restaurant I’ve been to in the United States. And I travel a lot. It’s absolutely absurd that you would charge for a side of salsa with two full priced meals and two drinks. I’ll eat breakfast at a gas station before I eat at your restaurant again. I want to talk to the moronic manager who put that option on the cash register. «Oh let’s charge for salsa» «that’s a legitimate charge». NO. No it’s not. It’s a frivolous charge and you should take it off.

We were seated, but waited 20min and still never had a waiter come to us. So we ended up leaving.

Watching the staff wipe down tables with nothing more than napkins. Clearing tables and than grabbing placemats for guest without washing hands. Ice tea pitcher sitting on the counter waiting for the next unexpectant guest to get some nasty germ infested tea. Won’t be here likely again.

I live in the area and decided to stop by one day. What a terrible idea. The store was packed with customers for the morning rush, but that wasn’t what was terrible. First off, it took about 5 – 10 minutes to even get seated. Then after being seated, 15 minutes passed without one server coming to my table; not one server to even ask me what I wanted to drink. I might have had to wait longer, but I left to save myself some time. I understand it was busy and crowded but many restaurants have to deal with this. Denny’s was not prepared for this morning rush and was obviously understaffed. Avoid this place early in the morning until they fix their staffing problem.

The food was great. Service excellent. Staff very friendly. But the bathroom was discussing which is the reason for the three stars.

Why this picture? Ok, were inside Denny’s didn’t wait long to get seated but the problem started when we waited for 20 minutes for our server to come, flagged one of the Waitress that we are ready to order and she’s like «are you ready to order, sir?» I answered «Yes» but nobody came, after 20 minutes of waiting we just decided to leave. Told the guy that we were leaving and all he said was «Ok!». Not even a sorry. No we are heading to IHOP

Just went for breakfast at 5 AM nobody in the building the waitress didn’t even give us menus I had to get my own we asked for our meal she brought the wrong items for side dishes we had to re-​ask for our milk we wanted she was sitting down typing on her phone the whole time we were eating with either her or Kid or somebody else sleeping
When it was time to leave we had asked for the bill never said anything didn’t question our mail didn’t say a word just came up ring it that was it very rude non-​personable don’t think I’ll go back to Denny’s IHOP was much better service

My boyfriend and I decided we wanted to eat Denny’s for lunch today but that didn’t end up happening. I’ve never had such a bad experience at a Denny’s before. When we first came in there was no one at the hostess stand and several employees looked up at us and said nothing. No one said they’d be with us in a minute or anything. Finally someone came and sat us. But then we just sat there and sat there and sat there. We just sat there for 15 – 20 minutes with again no one even acknowledging us. Finally the waitress for our section brought food out for the table right next to us and still didn’t acknowledge us. She just turned and walked away. That was the last straw so we go up and left. Now we are enjoying a nice lunch with great service over at Applebee’s. We will never try eating at that Denny’s again.

I go here often and I really enjoy their breakfast food. I havent ventured into the lunch or dinner section because I prefer the breakfast. I had a french toast breakfast and chicken strips. They were both really good. I then ordered a molten lava cake and it was soooo bad! Never get it, it tastes like soggy bread I couldnt even eat it. Overall it was good!

My husband have gone here about four times for breakfast. We usually go pretty early between 7am-​8am. We have always gotten great service, and not many places serve a big breakfast for $ 4-​$ 6. I get the value slam, usually get scrambled eggs with cheese, pancakes and sausage. Really decent for the price. I have noticed if you go around 9am-​10am it does get a bit busy, but so would any other breakfast place at that time. I didn’t give 5 stars because the coffee is disgusting, way to bitter and burnt. So we order hot chocolate :)

I don’t have high expectations when I come here, usually because there few other sit down breakfast restaurants around. One thing that really bothers me, and this is so common among Denny’s Restaurants, is the fact that they advertise their wifi on the windows, but they almost aways have a poor signal or is completely unresponsive! I’ve written to Denny’s in the past about this issue and have basically told them to either but up or shut up with respect to wifi advertisements.

I have been disappointed for the past year with Denny’s. On our way to the Sequoias we stopped at the Denny’s in Bakersfield. OMG! Can’t remember the omelet I ordered but it was bad, very greasy.
Yesterday morning we went to the Denny’s in Rancho San Diego (I know, I’m a glutton for punishment), where do I start? I asked for coffee and the waitress brought coffee in a dirty cup, I asked for a clean one. When my food arrived the omelet was dripping with bacon grease. My bad, I should have asked for a veggie omelet. The English muffin came without butter — not even on the side. So I had to ask for that. Oh, I forgot, she brought my husband’s meal first and I had to wait for mine — I think it was about 4 or 5 minutes. AND this restaurant was half empty for a Sunday morning. But now I know why.

Delicious food, great bargains, and such a welcoming atmosphere. I go to Dennys at least every other week — sometimes for a great meal, sometimes for late night coffee with friends — and every time I enjoy myself. A few months back there were a few times at this particular location where we had slow service, but since then we’ve been greeted with nothing but attentive, outgoing and friendly staff.

I stopped by This Denny’s to pick up their Moon Over My Hammy breakfast sandwich to go. It was early, about 6:45 am, and they only had a few customers. The meal came in a mini super dome. (

The sandwich has ham and scrambled egg sandwich with Swiss and American cheeses on grilled sourdough. I ordered it with a side side of hash browns. The sandwich was very good and well loaded with ham and scrambled eggs. (
) The sour dough was nicely grilled and good. Over all it was a good sandwich. The hash browns were good as well. I forgot to tell the lady at the counter that I wanted them extra crispy, but they were fine.
The sandwich with the hash browns were $ 7.99. Oh yes, when my receipt was printed, I won a free grand slam meal.
The ordering process was good and the food came out quickly, so I opt for a 3.5 stars.
