Came here late one night when I was randomly craving mash potatoes. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible. I went through the drive through only to see a box of food sitting on the ground with trash around it. I sat waiting for over 5 minutes when I was the only person in the drive through and one other person on the inside of the store. By the time the attendant got to the mic he sounded very annoyed that I was even asking to get food. After seeing the food on the ground I just decided to back up and leave. Not impressed and sadly never going back. Just another reason why to not eat fast food.

NOPE!!! Where to begin… lets see… bad service-CHECK! dirty bathrooms-CHECK! dirty dinning area-CHECK! poor food quality-CHECK! Yep… this place is very unsatisfactory. For the high price they charge you for a bucket of chicken, the quality should be way better. They use small chickens so the wings and legs are tiny and often overcooked to the point that they turn to powder when you bite into them. The biscuits are bland and dry. They are too stingy with the packets of «butter» and«honey» as well. You’ll most likely have to go back to the counter and ask them to give you some plastic silverware because the odds are good they’ll forget to put that in the first time around. The mash potatoes and gravy are lukewarm etc. etc etc. I honestly can’t think of a single area where these guys excel. I think I’ve only eaten here 3 times in the past 3 years and I can’t remember a single good experience. My advice is to go up the road to Churches — who aren’t much better from a service standpoint but at least the chicken is good and the biscuits are moist and have some flavor and you get you money’s worth overall.

Absolutely disgusting! Order was wrong, asked for 2 chicken legs and 6 tenders. Got two box meals, one with a leg and thigh and the other was 6 tough tenders. There was more food on the floor than the counter. The server was very nice, but either exhausted because she was running the store on her own or incompacitated. But the place was so gross, I took pics from the drive up window! Very sad, very disappointed!

Where shall I start? 7:30 on a Wednesday evening. They have no food ready. One pot pie. Everything else was a a 15 minute wait unless you want the pressure cooked/not fried chicken. I only come for the pies. The two meals I ordered came with o be chocolate chip cookie each. Disgruntled employee at the counter says«if you want them your order will take 10 extra minutes because I have to bake some». Ok. 10 minutes no prob. Especially since the alternative is to apparently pay for them and leave them there. I’m sure they’re not free ya know. I ate in the car anyway so figured I’d just come back in. I did 15 min later. No one else had gone in since. Same old couple waiting for their food. No other customers inside. Took her a few minutes to recognize me clerk says not ready. Still no alternative offered so I wait 10 more and finally get them inside 2 french fries packets cause they’re too soft to handle. Point is KFC is what it is. Don’t expect table service cloth napkins etc. But if located on a main thoroughfare at 730 pm have something ready. And if you work there don’t get po’d at the customers for walking in. Lots if people would kill for a job.

Kentucky Fried Chicken aka KFC. It has been quite some time since I have eaten at KFC. Growing up, KFC was amongst the rotation of places The Family would eat out at and/or takeaway to eat at home. Nowadays, it is the rare occasion we eat KFC chicken. I concur with the other reviews regarding this particular KFC branch. Just adding my opinions. The Mother was in a rare mood for KFC! OMG! She asked me how the chicken was prepared. I informed her that her choices were regular, extra crispy, and grilled. She went for grilled chicken whereas I went for extra crispy. It seems there is a high turnover of staff here. The last time I was here three years ago, there was one worker who was placating an elderly couple because they were complaining about the wait time for the food. When they eventually left with their long awaited order, he complained about how nasty they were and they really stunk. When he saw my perplexed look, he quickly shut up and went back to his perch at the counter. I remember thinking this server’s professionalism really stunk up the place.(Nasty!) I did not want to return after experiencing that nasty case of totally unprofessionalism. And unfortunately, he was the only server attending to the counter and the till. The last visit did not go down well at this KFC. There was only one server overseeing the counter and the drive-thru. Why were there not two or three other servers available? The place seemed short-staffed. This poor server was seemed to be in a hurry and stressed in getting orders processed. The menu options underwent many changes the last time since I was here. It used to be rather easy to get two sides with two pieces of chicken. That is now history, it costs extra. And the side portion sizes shrunk too – I was shocked when I saw the container sizes for one person. It was barely a ½ cup measure. They were out of extra crispy chicken breasts, would regular do? Being that I did not want to wait longer than necessary, fine. The server pointed out the offer on back of the receipt for my next order at KFC when I finally got our order to takeaway. When I got my order home, there was an item missing. The server forgot my extra cole slaw. The Mother told me to let it go, it was not worth the extra gas and the stress. And I was really hungry, now I was angry hungry. Oh no, not Moi. Let this go – hella no way! So I called expecting that particular server to answer – or even worse – the phone would not be answered at all. I was surprised that the phone was picked up at all by a different and pleasant sounding voice. I asked to speak with a manager and she was the manager. I told her I did not get the extra side I ordered. To make a long story short, she offered me a free family sized cole slaw. When I hung up the phone, I informed The Mother that it really does pay to complain to Dodge. And with that, I headed back to KFC for my large slaw. When I walked in, the particular server recognized me and greeted me with the words, «Now what?» I asked to see the manager. I had to wait a bit when I got my free family-size cole slaw from the manager to takeaway. Not a surprise, The Mother decided we would not go back to this KFC. Zero Stars.

went here with my boyfriend– first we were told to wait to order to the point where we turned off the car, attendant struggled to complete order consisting of 2 of the exact meals/drinks. they were out of one of our items and offered another item– not telling us they were going to charge more. when we asked the manager(Eve) she was snide and yelled«WEDONDODAT!!» clearly she thought we were disrupting her time, then offered to take off a whole 10 cents. after my bf said he didn’t mind they didn’t do substitutes she still was rude to us. apparently serving the only customer in line was too much for her– worst customer service– so we rode off like«Bye Felicia» the entire duration we were the ONLY customers in line and it still took 15 minutes.

This is the absolute worst kfc I’ve ever been to. Idk why they are still in business the food is so nasty I much prefer the kfc in emeryville or West Oakland although I live around the corner from the El Cerrito location. Idk what needs to happen to turn this place around but plz do it ASAP. No wonder the drive thru and inside the restaurant is always empty I see everyone must agree with me.

Never been through the drive-thru where I didn’t have to wait at the curb for the food to be cooked. And I was ordering chicken! Shouldn’t KFC already have chicken made for the customers? Not impressed.

Horrible! Disgusting! I rarely eat unhealthy food. But after a busy morning that got me hungry, and I happen to be driving by at 11:30AM, I figured why not indulge. Here’s what I noticed: 1. There are no customers for lunch 2. Most lights were off and two of the three doors were locked 3. Only one gal works here, and she was impatient with me even though I was the only customer 4. They don’t have straws 5. Restroom smelled like the foulest poop on the planet, even though there’s nothing in the toilet 6. THECHICKENTASTEDWEIRD !! That last one was scary. I wouldn’t be surprised if they occasionally drop a few pieces on the floor then put right back onto the warming tray. Or was it from last night? Maybe same gal who cleans the toilet also handles the food? So I haven’t KFC’d in years — haven’t been to this location in over 10 years. Now I’m scared that I might’ve eaten human feces. Puke.

I noticed a ‘help wanted’ sign, and I wish that I could remember the catchy phrase it had and with a nice picture. I noticed one employee doing the job of three, and she was very courteous, organized and prompt. Our take-out was all really yummy! All of the corn, green beans, chicken tenders, cold slaw, ALL was very good! It was a little after 5PM on Tuesday 11÷19÷13. She deserves a raise! :)

«To a healthy person like myself, eating junk food is the same as self-flagellation is to pious people or barefootedness is to michael franti — self-inflicted suffering in the name of humility. i can feel the self-loathing washing over me already. this is amazing.» — Blair C. When it comes to fast food, the grilled chicken from KFC feels healthier than BK or Taco Bell. Combine that with the fact that I live just a few blocks away, and I find myself at this KFC maybe once a month, when we’re both too exhausted to make dinner, but we need to eat something. I’ve been to plenty of KFCs, this particular location is shockingly inconsistent. They get my order wrong about a third of the time. Usually they forget to include something. Most recently they left out the coleslaw, other times they forget the biscuit, one of the other sides, or sometimes they short me on chicken. The food quality is sometimes unacceptable. I’ve had coleslaw that is served frozen solid, mashed potatoes that are ice cold in the middle, corn on the cob that has spent too many hours in the steamer, etc. Maybe 1 out of 10 visits they are completely out of chicken at prime time(5−7pm), or maybe they only have extra crisply, no original or grilled. I still don’t understand how this can happen. The important lesson here: when going through the drive-thru, open the boxes and CHECKYOURORDERBEFOREYOUDRIVEAWAY, to ensure everything is right. There is nothing more frustrating that walking in the door, exhausted from a rough day, with dinner in hand, only to find that you didn’t get what you ordered. They must have high turn-over, I think there’s a new person working the window every time I go. I’m sure that’s a factor in their inability to achieve consistency. So yeah, 2-stars, and I’ll be back again soon I’m sure.

I’ve been to KFCs where they run out of chicken near closing. Fine, that’s understandable– maybe I shouldn’t be eating fried chicken so late. I have been to some that make you wait 10mins because you have a big order and they apologize with a smile and offer you a drink while you’re waiting. Ok, 10minutes isn’t that long but thank you for the drink! However, this KFC was an experience. This location has got to have the worst service ever. We should have known when we got there because there were at least 4 – 5 other parties waiting for their food. Where did all the chicken go and why didn’t they tell us it’d be such a long wait?! We waited 40minutes! If we had known it’d take so long we would have said«hell no, we’ll run to the store and make our own fried chicken!» Seriously. Never again…

You know those inspirational posters about teamwork and success and commitment? The one of some photograph with a quote at the bottom? I’m going to make one called«mediocrity — because there is money to be made there too, so why give up my margin trying to be excellent». And I will take a photo of this KFC and use it as my photograph for this poster. We ordered biscuits which were being made so they asked us to pull the car outside and they’d bring it out in 2 minutes. We waited outside for 7 … then we went inside and waited for 4 more minutes. Mediocrity, because being excellent costs too much.

The crispy chicken is delicious– so moist and crispy. I got the meal which comes in a nice bento-like box with cole slaw(good), biscuit, and mashed potatoes(okay). The specials here are good deals. The special I got: three pieces of chicken and two sides with biscuit came out to about five dollars. As a new fan of fried chicken, the extra crispy chicken definitely satisfies. Service was fast too but the patrons are scary. A prostitute was in front of me and a strange man kept inching himself closer to me was behind me in line.
