My review is solely based on the service. I came here this past Sunday afternoon for the first time, with the intention of studying for finals and eat food. I’ve done this multiple times before, at different locations — Pomona, Rosemead Blvd and even in Baldwin Park with no difficulties. Prior to coming, I called and asked if they had any tables with outlets — Lupe informed me they do. I ask how many outlets do they have — she informed me that they have 5 outlets. I asked if there was a long wait or crowd of people — she informed me that it was not bad. Hung up, and I realized I forgot to as if they had wifi, another young woman answered and said that they do. I come in later with my backpack in hand, purse in the other, and I approach the cashier. It is obvious that my intention was to do some work. I told the woman, Ellie, that the table is for 3 and I’d like a table with an outlet — she said okay. My name was called, as we approached the table, I asked if there was an outlet the host said no, and I let her know I asked for a table with an outlet. She told me there was only one table with an outlet and it’s a two person table. I asked if we can just push another table against it to extend it to fit the 3rd person — she said that was fine I would just have to wait for the person to finish eating. I easily told her that I’d wait. And we walked back to the waiting area where she let Ellie know, and Ellie nodded in agreement that it was alright. So I wait for another 10 – 15 minutes and another host calls my name and walks me over to another booth. Again, I ask this host if the table had an outlet and again, this host said no, but this time said there are no tables with outlets. I let her know that the other host showed me the table on the side with the claw machine and that she said we could pull up a table to extend it. She said alright and walked me back to the waiting area. Another 5 – 10 minutes and finally get seated at the table with an outlet. I let the host know that they informed me the empty table, which did not have chairs, was allowed to be pushed against mine to extend it for the 3rd person. She just nodded and walked away. I’m still waiting for my two other friends to arrive at this point and a server stops by and asks if I was ready or wanted to wait for the rest of my party. I told him I’ll wait, and explained the situation about combining two tables and that the ladies in the front said it was possible. He said he’d gladly check to make sure that he was allowed to. And came back within 2 minutes and combined the tables for me. Now what bothered me is that he said it was fine, and came back and said that the hosts said that it was fine but I can’t be there long, maybe about 30 minutes. It is obvious that my intentions were to do work and that I was going to stay for at least an hour. And it would have been nice to tell me this in the beginning, than waste about an hour of my time. By this time my friends arrived, I told them the situation and we just left because we had not yet orders, to another establishment, which served us and our needs just fine. Now I thoroughly enjoy Denny’s and their food. This is the only location I’ve ever had troubles with. The server himself was very helpful, but the hosts need to better their communication skills with one another and the customers.

Okay, so you know how there’s the one Denny’s in your neighborhood that you go to because it’s the«nice» Denny’s? This is it. First thing you’ll notice is how organized the restaurant is. And it’s clean. I came here at noon on Memorial Day and it was packed– yet despite the chaos the place ran like a well-oiled machine. I ordered the new honey jalapeño sriracha burger and it was pretty dang good. And I’ve had quite a few burgers in my day. The burger LOOKED homemade and there was obvious care put into the presentation. It looked like a gourmet burger and tasted like a gourmet burger– which is not something I would have expected from Denny’s since I usually come here for the breakfast. Try the sriracha burger here. It’s good enough to come back for seconds!

Tried their breakfast early in the morning. The portion was big that I was not able to finish. I ordered pancakes, scramble eggs, sausages, and hash brown. It was not as oily as I thought. Service was fast. It located next to the high traffic 10 freeway, and has a big parking lot~

I came here to eat with one of my friends… I was very hungry so I thought I’d order a stake salad and my friend ordered a chicken BACON salad… it took the waiter at least 40 minutes to bring us our order and my friends chicken was partially raw and she barely got any bacon… my salad was okay except that the egg tasted like it was rotten and they didn’t even offer me a dressing. when I asked for it they said that«they thought I didn’t want any»… the place didn’t have many clients so taking 40 mjnutes ro bring a salad with raw chicken and rotten eggs… come on… I got there hungry and I left that place hungry and disgusted.. please do something about this…

Horrible customer service. I called to make a reservation for our company lunch. Server Javier told me they don’t do reservations but prior to it I spoke to another sever and they informed me no problem. Then when I asked to speak to manager he put the phone down and told another server, «told her I will get manager, but she can wait.» Then laughed. What an arse… I will never go to this Dennys ever!

I keep getting harassed by a person who claims to be the owner of this Denny’s. Claiming I’m lying. The people in my party did not stay after I found pubic hair in my food and their are other reviews of this Denny’s of people who had the same experience

This place has superior service. I came here with 2 other adult guests and we were greeted generously. As we were seated the waitress was quick and kindly handled our needs as a waitress should. But it was far more superior than other diners. The food here is good for its price

Busy Sunday brunch. It can have a long waiting line, which is a good thing, I guess, since it means the business is well run.

This Denny’s kinda stands alone in the restaurant biz. Meaning I’ve been here twice now for dinner. Both times the food has been good, the service is great and the wait is non-existent. Got seated right away. It’s usually not crowded, but gets busy. Both times we’ve had the same waitress. Forgot her name but she’s the sweet Asian lady who always gives great service. She handles most if not all the tables herself. There is this other blonde girl who seats you and brings you your water. And that’s it. Then the Asian lady takes over from taking our order to serving our food to tending to our check. They have 1 cook in the back that whips up everything for you and does it in a timely manner. The wait is never over 10 minutes and the food that comes out is good. I had the sirloin steak twice already. It’s always cooked to my preference. Wifey had the tilapia ranchero and she devoured her plate. My little one had the kids spaghetti and loved it. We always order the mozzarella sticks to share. My 9 year old likes the food also. Very gooey and goes perfect with marinara sauce. Kids eat free Tuesday’s for sure. And I think Thursday’s also. Although I am a little shocked at how much 3 dinners and an appetizer can cost at Denny’s. Our bill came out to about $ 45 with tax. Add $ 5 tip and you’ve just spent $ 50 on dinner !!! At Denny’s !!! The place where they preach their $ 2 $ 4 $ 6 $ 8 dollar menu. But if I was ordering a sirloin steak, a tilapia and a salmon, and a kids spaghetti at some other restaurant, I’m sure the bill would have been twice as much. Overall, great place to eat. Will return for sure. Tip: They have biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and hash for $ 4 bucks!

Beyond disgusted. There was a cockroach on our plate! Yes, alive and freely roaming. Only reason why they even got one star was because the server was friendly. Can’t help but wonder what else they must be infested with! Will definitely NEVER return.

Went here recently for a birthday party and everything was great. The service was spot on and the food was served promptly. I was surprised at the variety in the menu — there were many options to choose from. The management seemed very engaged with the patrons. I’d definitely stop by again when in the area as they are conveniently located.

COMEHERE! :-) Consistent food, friendly service, mostly clean: We usually come to this location as we’re passing by to visit friends and family in the area. It’s a great Dennys to eat at. The wait staff is always polite, professional, smiling and friendly. The food overall is tasty, good, and consistent to the brand. I noticed this Dennys always has food that is «hot and new» to the brand, and occasionally when the item has been discontinued, they still make it for me if they have all the ingredients. The place is always clean and picked up. The one time I sat in a corner booth had some used napkins left on the seat, which was hard to see and get to. The minute I told my waitress she was super quick to come clean it, and even wipe down the booth with cleaner. I would definitely come back to this location and recommend it.

We’ve been to plenty of Denny’s, but this one is by far the best! We ordered off the $ 246 menu. My Turkey sandwich and bowl of broccoli and cheese soup were tasty and filling! My husband got eggs, sausage, and ham steak. It filled up his plate and his belly. The service was fast and accurate. We will definitely make this one the go to Denny’s!

The servers checked in multiple times to see if we needed any refills, liked the food, etc. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was not bad, but nothing special, as expected. I got the Cali Avocado Scramble, which was a good value for $ 6.99 — add toast for just $.99. Check-in with Unilocal to get a free beverage with purchase of an entrée. Kids eat free Tuesdays and Saturdays from 4pm to 10pm. There is a gumball machine and other vending machines selling toys for $.25-$.75, which attracted my son’s interest. The kids menu with crayons and activities is a nice touch for keeping kids entertained. 2 signs on the front door explain that restrooms are for customers only, and that those who purchased gas from the station across the street do not warrant an exception.

The reason for 4 stars is at the bottom. Every time I come here their staff is very friendly and usually sit you within minutes of arrival. The food is that of an average dennys restaurant or a norms. I try to mix up what I order so I wont get fed up of their food.(I dont come here often but still) The restrooms are a little dirty.(Mens for that matter) Ok the reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because I was there with 3 family members and we all had an entrée. Total of 4 entrees. We were charged for 5 but I didn’t notice until the next morning. I called the restaurant and they told me they had to be sure I wasn’t lying.(Why would I) then the manager had me drive back to their location for an analysis of the receipt. I got there at 8:35. By the time the manager came out from«reviewing» the receipt it was 8:50. Then she told me the server who had helped me the night before was coming in at 9:00 so she had me wait an additional 10 minutes. The server finally arrived at 9:00(on time) and refunded the amount that was wrong. Great service when youre there. But look at receipts twice before paying.

— — — — – Not So Grand Slam — — — – Denny’s is one of the few chains out there that gives you something for your birthday. Grand Slam is what they would offer birthday boys and girls of all ages. Basically it’s 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 pancakes, and bacon for $ 5.99. It costs less than a buck to do this at home as it doesn’t take much skill. The food quality is not good, sausages are tiny, pancakes have that packaged taste, bacon wasn’t crispy enough, but the eggs are alright. There’s parking space even on a busy day. The décor is 50’s style, similar to Johnny Rocket’s. You can spend that money instead on a very good breakfast burrito or phở in this area. Service wasn’t great, no greeting at all. Pretty clean for the most part, even in the restroom, until some homeless person used it. They also have a bacon sundae which has got almost 2000 calories alone.
