I’m not a fan of IHOP. This particular time was different. My server was great & the food was the way it was supposed to be. I seldom make visits to IHOP unless everything else is closed.

Always busy! Even on weekdays! Service is friendly. They changed the way you pay, before you walk to the register but not you pay at the table. Spinach and Mushroom Omelette — $ 12.99 — Omelette is huge. Ton of spinach and mushrooms. Good but pretty pricey. Regular Breakfast w/Banana Bread French Toast Combo — $ 7.29 — Such a good deal. You get 2 eggs, 2 bacon strips, hash browns, and banana bread french toast! So much food for such a cheap price. Basic breakfast stuff. Banana Bread French Toast comes with a bunch of sweet toppings but I got that stuff on the side so I could control the sweetness. Very moist and good banana flavor. Ultimate Breakfast w/Bön Bön Pancake Combo — $ 9.69 — Same as above but you get 2 sausages also. Got the Bön Bön stuff on the side since it seemed really sugary and I was right. I ate the pancakes with the syrup on the table instead. Usually prefer Denny’s since the prices are pretty high here but the combos we had were actually pretty good deals.

Doesn’t even deserve the star it makes me give, service so slow took them 45 minutes to finally bring my kids meal out and he only order a grilled cheese, manager doesn’t care he just nods and walk away tables smell like they used a dirty rag to clean it. I try to give places a chance even with bad reviews but this one is not worth it. Not coming to eat here again. The waiter was very nice, he did everything possible to make it better. I give him 100% manny thank you

The food is so good here. The pancakes the French toast Yumm! I love getting breakfast with with my mother here. I love how they leave you coffee on the side so you could refill you’re cup whenever you want. Way better then Denny’s.

I had a late dinner at this IHOP in Rosemead, CA on 1÷9÷2016. I’ve been there many times before. It’s open 24 hours so you can have breakfast any time of day. Plus, I took photos.

Came in for brunch today on a Saturday. It’s pretty full but since we’re only two we were seated very quickly. Our server is awesome!(Christopher). Very patient and attentive. He even made some breakfast suggestions and gave his personal opinion on the dishes.

If you want to be ignored this is the perfect place to come to. Wednesday night, how busy can they be? We walked in, no people at all and we were left there waiting for about ten minutes and no one ever came around… all we heard was some one saying from far away«We’ll be right with you!» again about ten minutes passed and no one came around. Awful customer service, not trained waitress, we walked out and took our money somewhere else and I’m thankful for that cause the other place had awesome customer service!

Lousy untrained waitress. No smile and had an angry look on their face while I was ordering. I simply wanted to substitute an item in the combo. I asked and they gave me a deer in the headlights look. I said can I just substitute one item for another. Lady has no idea. Asks other waitress. Comes back and says it costs extra. I proceeded to ask how much extra. AGAIN deer in the headlights look. Seriously learn the job or go work somewhere that doesn’t require you to deal with customers. You suck.

Just had Breakfast with my mother and friend around 11:30AM. The hostesses(there were 3 standing around when we entered) all had the most angry looks on their faces when we walked in the door… not the best first impression. The girl who delivers the food to the tables is probably the worst of all. Our food was cold, she was rushing around the entire time with the most angry look on her face. She didn’t make eye contact with anyone she was giving plates to, and forget about trying to ask her a question. She will turn around and act like you just bothered her. I’m sorry but it’s your fault for not bringing me all of my meal! The cherry on top of a horrible visit, was when the Manager came over to ask us how everything was. He is very arrogant and unprofessional with his staff. I feel like he behaved inappropriately with his female staff in particular. I will definitely NOT be coming back here, and I’ll be sure to tell my friends and family about this experience.

Brunch on Saturday, 10÷31÷15 This location gets busy so arrive early if you can. They have a decent sized parking lot shared with other stores and restaurants. We waited about 10 minutes for a party of 2 around 9:30am. The hostess and server were both friendly. They have pumpkin pancakes! I wanted to order them but decided on pot roast instead. I know, it’s morning and I should get breakfast but the pot roast in the senior section of the menu is so good. It comes with buttery mashed potatoes, sweet-tasting corn, and garlic bread. Not all locations serve it too. My mom ordered the double BLT sandwich with hash browns with a cup of coffee. Don’t forget to ask for hazelnut coffee creamers. It has so much more taste than the french vanilla(if you’re a hazelnut fan). Both our meals were delicious. There’s such a large selection of delicious foods. I’ve been returning to this location though for comfortable seating and good service compared to the in Arcadia on Baldwin Ave, in Baldwin Park on Baldwin Park Blvd, and in Alhambra on Fremont although the next best is probably in Alhambra.

Compared to other iHops around the area, this location is more modernized. Never experienced poor service here. You can’t go wrong with their breakfast at any hour of the day. The sirloin tips have a lot of flavor and not dry at all. The waiter Ana was attentive and was in no rush to drop off the bill like some places do.

My friend was hungry and wanted a quick breakfast. I got my cinnamon sugar double dipped french toast combo and it was surprisingly not bad. I ate my egg, bacon, sausage, few bites of hash browns and half of my french toast. 3 stars! IHOP is almost yummylicious!

The pancakes were on point. Delicious, fluffy, and chocolatey. No complaints there. And their butter pecan syrup is bomb! BUT!!! The service sucked balls. If you wanna come to a restaurant and get ignored, by all means come to this IHOP. After being seated and putting in our order, we were ignored. What if I wanted more coffee? What if I wanted water or butter or something else? FORGETABOUTIT! They run your food out to you and leave you dry! Might as well bring your own stuff there with you because they sure as hell won’t bring it out for you, or you can die before they actually do so! No one came to check on us! Every time we tried to flag down a waitress to get us something they were absorbed with another table, or mentally in outer space, or pretended to not see or hear us. Seriously, if you’re working in the food industry you better bust your ass to service the people that are paying you!!! Very disappointed by the lack of good service!

Wanted some breakfast and came across this place. I got the waffles with strawberries, whip cream and powdered sugar. I added some scrambled eggs and a side of hash! It satisfied my cravings and I was pleased by the server and nice host. Thanks, I’ll be back soon :)

Came in and ordered eggs Benedict. The chef overcooked the hollandaise sauce and looked like scrambled eggs. I told the waitress to have him fix it. She came back saying that the manager told her its a new recipe they’re doing and that’s how the sauce is. Give me a break. I know food and I know when you overcook hollaindaise sauce. They instead tried to pass it off with a lame as excuse. So my business goes somewhere else now for eggs Benedict.

The one thing I hate about Ihop & Dennys is that they take FOREVER to bring out their food. I’m assuming they just always have one cook in the back making everything, because every time I come to these franchise breakfast places, I’m always waiting at least 30 mins for my food. That is mainly the reason why I’m giving it 4 stars. The food is very yummy though. I always order some type of egg dish because I love eggs. I got their egg white omelet that had mushrooms, onions, spinach and cheese in it. It was delicious and very cheesy which I like. Their hashbrowns are also very crispy to eat with some tapatio, yum! My boyfriend got their appetizer sampler which came with chicken tenders, french fries, and mozzarella sticks! The mozzarella sticks were so amazing. The outside was very crunchy and the crust had flavoring to it. We also got the Strawberry Rhubarb Criss-Croissant for dessert! It looked like a small waffle on the outside and on the inside there was a crispy croissant. It was a pretty good dessert to try one time, but I probably wouldnt get it again. Service here is mediocre. It’s really hard to flag down someone because they just have so little workers when there are a bunch of tables. They need to hire more people so everything flows more smoothly. I feel like because a lot of old people go to these type of breakfast places to read the newspaper & relax, so workers dont feel like they have to be in such a rush. For me, when I go to a restaurant I like to be in and out of the place in a hurry, I have stuff to do lol

If I could I would give this place 3.5 stars. I grew up eating IHOP and Denny’s so this has a fond memory in my heart. The flavors for most of their signature dishes are great. Nothing gourmet served here but it’s good olé super fattening American cuisine. The best. I love the cheesecake pancakes(real cheesecake slices inside)!!! It’s really flavorful, sweet, and just overall delicious. I’m also a fan of the big steak omelette when you pair it with the salsa sauce. Make sure to get extra salsa. It’s tasteless without it. Be forewarned though, the steak is not a juicy drool worthy type of meat. It’s more like overlooked and hard. But for this kind of restaurant you can’t exactly expect the kind of omelette you’d get at a fine dining restaurant. But it’s still a good place to come whenever your craving pancakes or American breakfast at an odd hour of the day. Most IHOP locations are open 24⁄7. This one is. Also as a side tip, this location does not do takeout orders. They will not make your order even if you order over the phone until you arrive in the actual store to pay. Something about how there have been many orders made over the phone recently but no one coming in to pick up the orders. So go to a different location if you’re looking for a fast order over the phone & pickup.

Thoroughly surprised to see a good amount of people waiting for a table when our party of 6 arrived around 10:30am on a Sunday. Opted for first available seating. We were seated about 20 minutes later outside. Our host was friendly and attentive even though she was very busy with other tables. I was surprised to get decent service since Denny’s always did me wrong… slooowest service ever. 2 caramel bonbon pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns and ham for about $ 9. The portions were an average amount for the price. The ham was almost dry and overly salty but I didn’t expect much from huge chain brunch restaurants. The caramel bonbon pancakes had slathers of caramel between the 2 pancakes. My pancakes almost drowned but I saved them. They are in a better place in my tummy now =) Expect to wait on weekends. Spacious parking lot shared with Target, Dollar Tree, Coldstone, etc.
