The have is one of my favorite fast food burger chains. The menu is filled with just the right amount of options, so that you aren’t overwhelmed with choices. It has a couple of burgers and specialty sandwiches you choose from, and I usually go for the original char burger with cheese or their Santa Barbra style burger. They have a pretty good veggie burger as well. Their burger patties taste real. It doesn’t look like the paper thin patties you would get from some other fast food chains. They even live up to the name of char burger, cause you can taste the char! If you’re trying to eat healthier you can request that they wrap it in lettuce so that you don’t have to deal with all the extra carbs! Definitely a place to try if you’re in the mood for a quick bite to eat!

This is one of my go-to places when I don’t know where I want to eat. Which happens pretty often. The burgers are always cooked to my liking. The customer service here is great. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The menu here is very simple, almost like in n out but with more options. The fries here are also one of my favorites, they’re usually the fat fries. The place has always been packed with people, and it’s also always been very clean. The workers are always on point when it comes to cleaning up after people are done. Plenty of parking at this location.

A typical place for groups to hang out. I recommend trying either the Santa Fe sourdough burger or the mushroom burger. I do not recommend the onion rings though. The onion rings has way too much batter on it.

This is a must eat place anything and everything here is delicious. I am in love with their ahi sandwich on sour dough with a side of tempura green beans and a strawberry cucumber beverage! The employees here make it a very pleasant and satisfying place to eat at. Thank you everyone keep up the great work!!!

Omg the chicken club and tempura green beans are my new favorite. I even was able to get my fiancé to eat the green beans over French fries! I’ve also had the bbq burger and the tuna sandwich, all of which I have absolutely enjoyed. Oh and their tropical tea is AMAZING. There tends to be a line but it goes super fast so try it for sure.

My wife, kids and I really enjoy eating at The Habit. However, today I went quickly to order a Santa Barbara Cobb Salad. I was the only customer there and I wanted to eat my salad at home since I had just finished my gym workout. Unfortunately, I am extremely disgusted with the service today and hope Habit Corporate reads this review. The Manager at the location Rosemead(name unknown since his uniform was sloppy and he had no name tag) felt he was going to help the 3 cooks in the kitchen… But without washing his freaking hands! I wonder if that is the normal practice every time by this manager or everyone in general. I believe common decency and State Law Require individuals handeling food to always wash there hands and not«I just used hand sanitizer» excuse. That is pathetic and disgusting. I observed them how long it too to prepare one salad, for one customer at 11 am. Let me tell you business was not booming, I wonder how many times during heavy business hours this unsanitary pracite is allowed? I am sorry Habit, but I enjoy your food, reaturants, decorations and music. I don’t enjoy you having managers that have poor leadership and unsanitary hygiene.

Always heard good things about Habit and I was really impressed with the burgers. Parking lot is small and shares the spaces with 3 other restaurants. Service was nice and food came out quick. Was happy to see the peppers and chili condiments. Double Charburger w/Cheese — $ 4.25 + $.60 — 2 thick juicy tender patties. Made fresh to order and had amazing grill flavor. Simple but done right. Charburger w/Cheese — $ 3.25 + $.60 — Same as above, just 1 patty. Half Onion Ring/Fries — $ 2.40 — Crispy onion rings. Fries were ok. Very comparable to In n Out, pricing and taste. If they added a drive thru window on that side wall, they would make bank!

Came here for lunch around 3ish with my husband. The girl who greeted us/took our order was sweet, although I didn’t catch her name. My husband ordered the Tri-Tip Sandwich with a regular drink and fries. I ordered the Char Cheeseburger with Tempura Green Beans. I’m somewhat of a health conscious person or at least try to be and felt I didn’t have too many options. Only a couple items on the menu are less than 500 calories, the rest are well over 700 not including adding extras like cheese, avocados, ect. That’s a bummer! The Tempura was an extra 250. Enough about that! The food is mediocre, like any other burger joint. The one thing that did stand out to me was the cleanliness, which it wasn’t! I’m not sure if we came after a rush and everyone was finished and had left; I spotted a few tables that were disgusting. I questioned how long those tables have been left dirty. I don’t think this place will be an option for me in the future.

Definitely a burger upgrade. Usually a regular at their Glendale location but I have a second location near work. Salads are also pretty good and this is a nice change to a boring burger routine.

Their hamburger has that grill favor, and the vegetable tasted garden fresh. The battier for the onion rings are very light and crispy. the Strawberry Lemonade tasted like perfection. The perfect blend of fruit sweetness. The ice tea was bland. In all simply great foods.

I tried lunch at two different Habit restaurants while in the area. Great place to meet up with friends. I ordered the burger both times but there many good choices. The burger was cooked just right and juicy. Others in my group ordered salads or tri-tip sandwich. The price point was right too. I’m so glad I stumbled onto this place.

Love their burgers! Got a coupon for a free charburger. Paid extra to add bacon and fries on the side. Great service, very friendly workers.

Great Habit location! Excellent service and fresh and tasty food! Prices and portions are fair for the quality you get, I love both their ahi burger as well as the Santa Barbara Cobb and my husband always enjoys their tri tip. Fries are great, my son loves the burgers and milkshakes, there is really something for everyone. Not as heavy and greasy as other fast food chains, you don’t leave here feeling guilty or sluggish which I appreciate. Clean store with plenty of seating, worth a stop!

I like The Habit. I went to school in Santa Barbara(where the Habit Burger Grill started) so I have been a fan of their food for many years now. I’m so glad that they are expanding and I can get their burgers around L.A. My favorite burger here is the Santa Barbara Style: Double Char with Cheese & Avocado on Grilled Sourdough. Mmmmmmm. Their fries are fine but not my favorite. I like their onion rings. They have good salads. My favorite is their Santa Barbara Cobb: Crisp shredded iceberg, and romaine, diced tomatoes, chunky avocado, blue cheese crumbles, crisp bacon, egg, and grilled chicken breast, tossed in red wine vinaigrette dressing. This location is just off the 10 fwy in the Rosemead Square Shopping Center. There’s plenty of parking. I’ve never had a problem parking. Staff is friendly and polite. They have a nice outdoor patio.

I came here for lunch one day and saw their new quarter pounder cheeseburger with jalapeño, grilled carmelized onions, lettuce, and tomato. Can this cheeseburger be even more awesome? Yes! Voila, add avocado!!! The burger was huge! I loved the toasted bun and combination of all the flavors. They did not skimp on the avocado, that’s for sure! I come here for a combination of convenience and quality. This place is close to my work and serves as the perfect quick fix for days when I need a speedy, yet satisfying lunch(or heck I’m just craving a juicy burger). The staff is always friendly and the food comes out fast. There’s plenty of seating inside and outside patio benches w/jumbo umbrellas. This place is located in a large plaza with a Target, Cold Stone Creamery, Jamba Juice, Rolling Rice, Starbucks, Subway, and Chipotle in case your friends want to grab something else and meet you at the patio afterwards to create a multi-restaurant-style potluck extravaganza! After you order, they give you a pager that alerts you when your food is ready. There’s plenty of free parking, but sometimes the lot can get packed during lunch.

Often In N Out is my go to spot for burgers, decided to give this spot a try since my friend raves about it. Its a nice open concept, open kitchen so you can see what the cooks are doing. Decent amount of seating but when I went it was packed. Luckily a couple left and I snagged their table real quick. They had quite a wide variety of meals to get from salads, to sandwiches to burgers .I ordered the double char with cheese and all the toppings with EXTRA grilled onions(no extra cost!!) with some fries. After you pay they give you a little buzzer that lets you know your foods ready. They have a little station where you can get your soda, ketchup, jalapeño, banana peppers. My buzzer goes off and on my way to get my burger. As I stare at it, it seem kinda small compared to my friends double char. Then I realize It was just a single so I go back and ask them to double check that its a double char, they apologized and added another patty on top. Also I was able to ask for a side of ranch for my fries. It looks pretty amazing very consistent with the appearance of the burger. Not like in n out where it would look beautiful and then sometimes look like as if I were to made the burger. First bite of the its great, nice balance of flavors, meat to cheese to bun ratio. When I retracted from the burger no lettuce, tomato, pickle didn’t drag out and fall out of the burger. Kinda odd to say but I really enjoyed that part of the burger. Didn’t get that much extra grilled onion oh well! Still a pretty good burger. Definitely pricey for what you get. But definite won’t turn down a invite to the habit if a friend asked to go!

Great Service! Great Food! Came here on a Sunday Night and the line was out the door! The seating was all packed, but my friend managed to save a seat indoors. They also have plenty of outdoor seating that is sharing with the other businesses. The Service is wonderful, the cashier was extremely patient with us, as it was our first time coming. She answered all of our questions and made recommendations. She recommended on us trying out the Char Burgers with Cheese with everything and we got 2 sides French Fries and Onion Rings. With 2 drinks 1 soda and 1 Bottles water. It was so cheap only came out to $ 17. After placing your order they give you a buzzer that goes off when your food is ready and the drinks and condiments are self serve. Even though the place was packed we only had to wait about 10 – 15 minutes for our food. The service was so fast. As we were eating the was a worker that even came up to check up on us to make sure everything was okay, and clean up our tray! It felt more like we were at a dine in restaurant than a fast food burger place. This was an amazing first visit. I would definitely recommend coming here if you’re craving burgers.

Too much of an In and Out Burger and McDonald’s fan here, so haven’t really checked out The Habit until recently. Pretty impressed overall and giving The Habit 4 stars, and will probably go back pretty soon. Coworkers and I have a pretty early lunch break starting at 10:40 am that we like to call brunch, and we’re thrilled that The Habit is open as early as 10:30 am. Neighboring Chipotle does not open until 11 am, which doesn’t give us enough time to get back to work on time. Staff was pretty friendly and welcoming. A new team member was also being trained by the manager at the order register, and I was particularly impressed with the manager’s patience in taking the time to guide her newest team member. Unlike In and Out, there’s plenty to choose from. There’s different type of burgers, as well as salads and sandwiches. I ordered the Mushroom Charburger with Onion Rings, and the burger reminded me so much of In and Out Burgers but with mushrooms! To me, In and Out burgers have always been the healthy and fresh-tasting burger to get, and McDonalds burgers have always been the comfort and fatty burgers to get. The charburger at The Habit had a healthy and fresh vibe like the burgers at In and Out. Moreover, the onion rings were flavorful and crispy good. The amount of batter coating the onion rings was just right. Coworkers ordered and also liked the Veggie burger, the Chicken Club Sandwich and the tempura green beans. It was unanimous that we’ll be back to try out the other offerings at The Habit. Why just 4 stars? The items at The Habit are slightly higher priced than In and Out and McDonalds, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Of course, it may also be growing up on In and Out Double Doubles and McDonalds Quarter Pounders with Cheese that’s preventing me from giving The Habit 5 stars.

Items ordered: Santa Barbara burger and Onion rings The previous time I came here they forgot the avocado on my salad, so I gave them 3 stars. This time my experience was a lot better! This time I ordered the Santa Barbara burger and I really liked it. I got my avocado this time! This burger has avocado and Carmelized onions and it makes for a nice combination. I like the sourdough bread action. Customer service was great! The lady who was working the cashier was very nice, and when she wasn’t at the counter she came out to our table and asked us how we were doing and even refilled my drink for me! Also took our trays after we were done.

This Habit Burger is quite a bit smaller than the Pasadena one, but the food is excellent. If you aren’t really craving a burger, the chicken club is a great alternative because it has chicken, bacon & avocado. I gave it a try today and I was pretty impressed. I probably waited 5 minutes for the sandwich & onion rings, but I love how everything is served at the correct temperature. The sodas are self-service, but I was a tad disappointed at the variety. They had Coke, Sprite, and a few iced teas. But no root beer, Dr. Pepper or raspberry tea. It’s a small price to pay, tho. The seating area was very clean, and I saw people constantly wiping down tables and emptying trash. Great place! I can’t wait for the Alhambra location to open.
