Great little place! Simple restaurant simple menu. If you want a good, fresh, clean burger this is your place. No frills, just good fries, good burgers, fast service and boom your done. My only drawback is the cash only payment option, but that seems to be a local thing in El Paso. We went for lunch on a Saturday and had no trouble with parking or a table. Will visit again next trip to town!

Rosco’s is hands down a great little burger joint. If you sit at the waist high counter you can see your burger being made with love, as he presses the onions into the patty before it goes on the grill. Staff is friendly and tentative to your needs. I will miss this little joint in less than 5 months. Simple menu which is what makes this little place great. Diner’s, Drive-in and Dives should check this place out next time while they are in El Paso.

Simple ingredients, simple service, simple menu, simple location. This combination makes an awesome Burger! They only take cash and it is a must see if one visits El Paso. Don’t get fooled by how it looks from the outside.

I went there for the first time today and let me tell you first and last time! This girl was extremely rude had our fries sitting out for at least 30 minutes before our burgers were out and when we brought it up to her attention she approached us all stupid with the fries in her hands demanding for us to touch them so we can make sure they were still warm! Like really why couldn’t she just make a fresh batch?!

Great lil’ place to grab a good burger. I usually love to put ketchup on my burger, but didn’t find the need to with the burger I had here. Actually enjoyed it as is, and after just 3 bites, I really was full! My son said, «It must be because it’s the real deal!» We also had the chili cheese fries and onion rings, that were really tasty. It is a small establishment, so we sat at the counter since there wasn’t a table available. My sons liked watching the cooks make the food(grill is up front behind the counter). Service was quick and our servers were very friendly. Definitely a hamburger joint we will be visiting more often.

Roscos Cheese Burger Basket is by far the best burger I have ever had. My first visit was over twenty years ago with my brother in law George. Since then I have taken every body I know and everyone agrees that this is an El Paso treasure. It has been to long since my last visit but, it’s time to fulfil my craving

Still the pinnacle of delicious EL Paso history. Consistent and tasty!!! Are these healthy, culinary elaborate, progressive burgers of the future? HELL… EFFIN…NO! These are burgers at the most basic form and they are damn good! DAMNGOOD!!!

Rosco’s has always been a family favorite. Even after we moved away due to the military, this was the one spot my dad made sure to hit every time we were back in town for a visit. In truth, I’ve never been the biggest burger fan, but I did learn what a real burger should be thanks to Rosco’s. I have fond memories of coming in here for a burger and my dad always enjoyed catching up with Roger, Rosco’s son. I never met Rosco himself, but according to my dad he was a nice fellow. My dad also told me that there was more on the menu back in the day and that Rosco made wonderful empanadas. As fond as I am of Rosco’s, I have to deduct a star because the place isn’t in any way as friendly and welcoming as when Rosco and Roger were here. Sadly, I don’t think they really give a crap about their longstanding customers at this point in time. It’s really kind of a shame because I don’t see my dad frequenting this place like he used to. He just doesn’t feel welcome here anymore and he has taken his business to friendlier establishments with equally good food. They still do the burgers right though so at least they’ve still got that going!

A little greasy, but DELICIOUS! I wish they would remodel a little to make patrons a little more comfortable. This is a place where we could take out of town guests and friends to if it were updated and cleaner.

If you have not been here yet, you are missing out on trying one of the best hamburgers in el paso. I have been coming to this place for over 40 years. this is an el paso landmark, and burgers have always followed the same formula for tastiness. bring cash.

The meat was fresh which is always a big plus but didn’t seem to have a lot of flavor. It’s fresh, which we like but lacked much in the way of personality. The fries were overdone. All in all, it’s a burger. Might be really good for El Paso but nothing special to us.

I read the Unilocal reviews and got the green chile sauce to put on my cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. This spot is better than the typical fast food chain burgers and more flavor than what you’d get at say Chili’s. If your looking for a non-greasy burger this is not the place for you. This is a true diners-drive ins– and dives type of spot and i respect that! Overall a spot you should definitely try if your a burger lover!

Every time someone makes a «Best Burger in El Paso» award and doesn’t give it to Rosco’s I get angry. The burgers here are the undisputed best burgers in El Paso year after year. This is a family owned and operated burger joint with a lot of history. Rosco’s has been open for as long as they have for a reason. For years they’ve been getting it right. Even the staff has been around for years. Their customer service is consistently good every time. They don’t serve anything fancy but have a basic menu items like chili cheese fries, hamburgers, and cheeseburgers but the menu does have some oddities like their caldillo and the hot dog burger style. Their signature green salsa makes you wanna put it on everything. I always order the cheesebasket(cheese burger and fries) and a lot of napkins. Whenever i have an out of town relative visit i always tell them they must try a Rosco’s burger! And just like the staff shirts say, «7 days without a Rosco’s burger makes one weak!». Burgers are always tough to describe since its part of our culture to consume and often. However if you’re an El Pasoan or visiting you need to go experience for yourself!

Rosco’s has been here for years. They have always had great burgers & chili. We had 2 cheeseburgers, 2 chili cheese fries, a large chili bowl, and a double cheeseburger. This place is the place to go for burgers & chili.

The burger here is one of the best burgers you will eat anywhere. Just like a good pair of shoes can make an outfit look better, a great bun makes for a better burger as well. Nothing fancy here, just great food cooked right.

Local and the authentic diner feel. Two things I love about Rosco’s. My co-workers and I sat at the counter directly in front of the grill and the fryer. They casually write your order in their secret diner language and you pay at the register as you leave. Cash only, FYI! The burgers weren’t my favorite but they are all conveniently cut in two for an easier feasting. The patty reminded me of the whataburger patty; it’s thin and more on the dry side. However, with all the toppings, especially the onions I think, make it a decent burger. The burger basket comes with a side of fries. You can even make it chili cheese fries, but from what I saw, they didn’t look too appetizing. This place was crowded during Friday lunch; people were even ordering take out. I’m glad I experienced Rosco’s. I’m looking forward to trying more local burger joints around town. [I had a picture of my cheeseburger, but it had there was an error while uploading. Sorry, friends!]
