This place is amazing. I was only disappointed on Thursday night when my boyfriend and I decided to grab a bit to eat. They were closed! ! It was 6 in the evenning. I hope they didnt close down for good. Since the location is a hole in the wall type of deal. They have the best bacon jalapeño poppers. The cheese is to die for. Lol. The fries have the best seasoning! I like to get the chicken sandwich it is the bomb. My mouth is savouring right now just thinking about it. Try it once atleast. I guarantee whatever you order it will be exquisite. :) And the staff is always friendly. Try it please

Went in to see what they were all about because we both love a good cooked meal. Lunch was great. We had the fish basket and bratwursts combo both with fries. The fries were amazing! The fish was perfectly crisp and served with a cilantro lime dip. Perfect combo again! The bratwurst were delicious and topped with kraut and habanero honey mustard. Perfect combo once more! The cook was wonderful and offered us new things to try. Head here it was worth it.

My boyfriend brought me here and I really had no idea what to expect but the food was great and the staff was super friendly. Draft beers are very good and please try the bratwurst cause it is amazeballs.

The atmosphere here is very chill. The food doesn’t really go with the name but it was nonetheless good. We had the turkey tortilla soup and the Monte Cristo Rey. The Cristo Rey was good, but I felt like the bread soaked up too much oil when fried. The innards were delicious. So maybe the club sandwich by itself should do. Drink deals seem reasonable.

My girlfriend read about this place, so we decided to try it out. We were there in between lunch and dinner, so it wasn’t very busy which can be nice when trying a new place. I decided to go with the two bratwurst meal and a beer. The bratwurst were very tasty. They were braised in beer(like how I cook them at home), and put in wonderfully soft bolillo rolls. I got one with sauerkraut and one without. Very tasty both ways. It also came with a habanero mustard sauce for dipping that had a good amount of heat. The side of fries were crunchy, piping hot and salted to perfection. My beer was a Deschutes Black Butte Porter which was also good and paired well with German inspired food. My girlfriend got the fish sandwich and beans. I really enjoyed the fish sandwich as well. Crunchy, and served on a soft bun as well. The beans were quite tasty as well. The waiter was very friendly and offered amazing service. He checked in on us multiple times and even after we paid, refilled my water. I really appreciated that and it made us feel very welcome. For great food, great service and a fun atmosphere, this is the place to check out.

I’ve been here 3 or 4 times now and definitely will go back again. Unfortunately, this place suffers from having a name that doesn’t quite fit. You expect more of a German style pub and fare, but it’s not what you get. And that’s unfortunate because the food is actually really good. I’ve yet to have something there either main meal or appetizer that wasn’t delicious. Additionally, the staff is very nice and the owner is very friendly. We both like craft and home brewing and we’ve had a long talk and discussed everything. He even brought up things about his restaurant and what would be good to change or not, and I always respect when people try different things, listen to their customers, and always look to improve. If they can get their identity found and set, they will take off a lot more.

The establishment is very small but the patrons are nice and very friendly. The bratwurst is off the hook and the stuff shrooms to die for. Totally recommend.

I have been about 5 times. The food is great! This restaurant is truly a Northeast EP treasure. They don’t make your food til you order so do not come starving. I have had a different menu item each time and I have yet to be disappointed. The rajas burger is exceptional. My all time favorite is the green chili macaroni and cheese side. The biggest problem has nothing to do with the food or service. The problem is they are located in a tiny strip mall with Whataburger and Weinerschnitzel directly across the street. I would hate to see local small business owners fail. Do some real advertising! «Fork» out the money and get your name out there. Your FaceBook page is non-existent. Don’t expect to succeed if you don’t promote. If they fail, it is on them.

The name evokes images of barrel tables and hearty european food and a decent selection of imported beer. What you GET is just another little El Paso restaurant in a strip mall. El Paso Times did a review and said it was mostly Mexican food, and they were right… Now, having said that, we had several things and all but the chicken wings were delicious. What they should have named it is Stuffed Peppers, because that is what they do best. Prices were a tad bit high and the beer selection was typical with a few Guinness cans and a couple of Oktoberfest beers. The stuffed jalapenos were tasty but tiny… once you removed the bacon, they were about the size of a, um, uh… they were tiny. I would go back, but I wouldn’t make a special trip.
