They pay their cooks minimum wage and it shows. Stay away from the nachos. Cold queso in the middle. Yum. 10 bucks for crap. Local hole in the wall with New Mexican low life’s. If this is your style come here. If not try grams corner by sunland park mall! They sell crappy hot dogs but you expect it at least!

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it came out quick, but the bacon was inedible and had a funcky smell to it, the patty was tasteless and it was mushy. I could only eat a couple of bites of it before I got grossed out. I won’t be back, for food anyway seems like an alright place to drink a beer, just stay away from the food

Love this bar! Moved here from Alaska and found this place only a few blocks from my house. EVERY time I go, there is ALWAYS someone wanting to talk football! Service is excellent, juke box is great and prices are reasonable! If you want a cool place to chill, drink and meet new people, THIS IS IT!!!

Heard the wings were good, but I wouldn’t know because I never got my order. My waitress gave horrible service, came back to the table twice rechecking out order as she wrote it on her hand because she kept forgetting to put our order in. Waited over an hour, never brought us our appetizers or water the entire time we were there. we finally got fed up and asked for the check for the few beers we did drink and turns out she didn’t put in our order for the hours we were there waiting. Left and came to Nona’s pizza and got phenomenal service. If I could give the place zero stars I would but at least one star is required. don’t go to the house of rock if you’re hungry, because chances are you probably won’t get your food.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. I’ve only been here a few times and each time the service and drinks were awful which sucks because it’s the closest place to my house for drinks.
One of the servers (Samantha, I think) there ignores all her tables and drinks on the job even though she is underage. If you flag her down she walks past you and if you approach her at the bar she’ll throw your drinks down on the table and spill them.
Another time I was there my party was ignored the entire time we were there because this same server was taking shots with customers at the table behind us. We complained to the owner and — guess what! — he was totally wasted and he was the one buying his underage employees the shots.
They also don’t clean their beer lines so if you’re ok with ‘beer medley’ when you order then go for it.
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they lost their liquor licence sometime in the near future.

Pretty much a dive but in a good way. Cheep beer during happy hour. Good selection of beer. $ 2.50 pints of rolling rock all the time. The wings were pretty good. My wife asked for a fruity martini but the bartender said she didn’t have time for that. Great place to meet some friends after work.
