Customer service here is always great. Every staff welcomes you when you walk in. Salsa bar is always clean and stocked. Guac is always done right and not done watery. Most of the time I come here around 3:30pm for lunch, I usually get Elizabeth, positive attitude, very friendly and makes sure my order was prepared correctly before I leave.

El Pollo Loco is by far one of my most favorite fast casual places to eat. The food is fresh and tasty and has good presentation. I like that you guys have a variety of menu offerings and most importantly, the food taste like real food. There are so many places like Taco Bell, or Del Taco and when you look at the food, you feel a little suspect about what it is. I like that your chicken is lean and never fatty. The chicken is flavorful and always hot. My one recommendation, not just for this location specifically, but across they board, is that your front of the house team members, cashiers especially, need more menu knowledge. Overall though, you guys rock my world.

The service was amazing the cashier was very friendly. Establishment was nice and clean felt very welcome and cozy. Food was fresh and order to perfection. And I receive my order very quickly. Definitely will be coming back and recommending this El Pollo Loco two others… So those were fresh more than other El Torito’s that I’ve been at. I definitely improved management of their great hospitality and their great service.

I love chicken. First time trying El Pollo Loco and I just ate 8 pieces thigh and leg. It was sooooo good. Coming back to try out some other meals here.

It’s just fast food, but love the chicken, and the salsa is addicting. The line can be long during weekday lunch hour, but it moves fast because they add cashiers as the line gets longer. This particular location seems more efficient than others I’ve been to. Friendly service and usually a warm greeting with a smile. Salsa containers are refilled promptly. There is indoor seating, plus new outdoor seating in front for all restaurants in the minimall, not just EPL. New flowers and shrubs in planting areas are nice, too. Be careful because the shape of the sidewalk drops off suddenly near the handicapped space. Parking here was always a mess, but it seems better now that the construction of the In-n-Out on the other side of the lot appears to be complete. Just watch for the cars, they are crazy.

A bowl with chopped grilled chicken breast, rice, beans, Pico de Gallo and flour tortillas, what’s not to like? The place is clean. The staff is friendly. Your food is ready in no time. Don’t forget to visit the salsa bar. With fork in hand it’s a quick easy lunch option. Parking? You’re on your own, I got noth’n for ya.

The employees are very nice. They gave us a free cup to use for any drink we might like to try. This pollo loco is clean which is nice. That said that we would have to pay $ 3 more for mixed on the special family meal vs $ 2 more for mixed on the regular family meal mixed. Totally ticks me off when a company thinks their patrons are too stupid to do the math. The salsa was great!

The staff here are extra nice. For a fast food restaurant, they are friendly, charming, and very helpful. The food is great. My chicken is always extremely soft and well spiced. I’d have to say I’m quite impressed for the high quality in a fast food joint.

The chicken is always hot and juicy inside, with the skin browned just right on the outside. The staff brings your food to your table. All of the staff always seem cheerful and helpful. This location is always clean and well-organized, all the time. How this particular location is managed should serve as a model for ALL El Pollo Loco shops… and ALL small restaurants in general!

On Christmas Eve, we were planning to go to lunch but we were really crunched for time so I sent my daughter to pick up something to eat for her and her brother. My daughter is a SERIOUS macaroni and cheese lover and she claims, «who would of thought that this place has good mac and cheese.» She loves their version and always gets a pint and makes sure I hide what she can’t finish so she can have leftovers the next day !!! The young male adults working inside were fighting to serve her and one said, «I got this one» and upgraded her to a gigantic lemonade for her brother’s kid meal !!! Cheap for me and good for the kids: p

I have never thought to do a review on a fast food restaurant. I was out Christmas shopping and found myself starving so here I sit. Pollo loco is really the only fast food place I would ever go. Anyway… I was sitting at my table watching the busy place and waiting for my food to be delivered. Much to my surprise this well dressed young man named Jason came and politely brought my tray of food and asked if there was anything else he could bring. Since I was eating alone I watched him serve others with this same politeness. He even brought a tray of condiments around with hand wipes toothpicks salt pepper and offered them to the people sitting at their tables. Equally gracious to all patrons. When he wasn’t serving he was wiping tables and making polite comments to customers. My compliments to this Pollo loco for hiring such a pleasant professional employee. He represents your company well.

I always get the 3 piece thigh and leg combo, and always request all thighs. I used to be a drumstick fan, but over the years that extra little sliver of a bone next to the main bone really bugs me. I guess that’s their tibia/fibula combo that we have. Didn’t someone say we used to be chickens? They no longer carry potato salad, which used to be my favorite side. So today, I had the Spanish rice and the new corn. Everything tasted great with that magical green sauce they have at the salad bar. I think it’s a mix of cilantro, onions, avocados, and some other secret ingredients. It tastes pretty healthy and fresh. Combo also comes with a small drink, which is the size of mediums at other places. No worries, they have a soda fountain. All you can drink is always fine by me. +1STAR — they have Horchata at this location. Would be even more awesome if they had some Orange Bang.

This is the fastest El Pollo Loco I have ever been to. I like this chain and will frequent wherever I am, but, this particular spot has it down to a science. They are very friendly, greeting you like you just entered a sushi bar. Besides that, they have remodeled it into a great looking store with a clean salsa bar. Like El Pollo Loco? THIS is the best of the best for this chain. Easy/free parking to boot!

It’s lunchtime and I thought I would try something a bit different, so I bit for the chicken tostada salad. Once I found a table, it took a short time to get my food and they brought it to me with a friendly smile. The salad comes with lettuce, chicken, rice, beans, sour cream and a touch of pico de gallo. I also got some of the cilantro dressing, to give it a little more pizzaz. I have to say that there really isn’t much to this salad and very little chicken was sitting on top. It looked so good in the picture, but when I got it, the salad was very average. I do love their chicken and that’s what they really do best, so next time it’s back to the basics with the flame broiled chicken and a few sides.

I gave a coworker $ to pick us up some food for lunch so we could keep working, :(She showed up with chicken, Spanish rice, black beans, and salad from El Pollo Loco. Lets start with the chicken: This was very tasty and flavorful! Warning, the pieces are pretty salty! Spanish rice and beans were good, about on par for what you would get at any other place. The salad was also good, with small pieces of tortilla chips in it to give it some ‘culture’, lol. Overall this was a great lunchtime meal. Despite the chicken being a little over-salted I still very much enjoyed it!

This is one of the most busy EPL’s at lunch time that I’ve ever been to due to all of the businesses in the area. If you come during peak hours, be prepared to stand in a long line. I usually come between 11:00 — 11:30 to avoid the traffic. The chicken itself is not as juicy as other loctions like the one on Century by the 405. The service is probably the best aspect of this place. Very friendly workers that will attend to your every need and request.

I have driven past this location for 10+ years but never stopped. Well yesterday(11-10-2013) I decided it was time to add El Pollo Loco back onto my list of places to visit and decided after reading all of the positive reviews on Unilocal I would stop at this location. This location is located within an ‘L’ shaped strip mall on the corner of S. Sepulveda Blvd & E. Mariposa Ave. This location shares its parking lot with a Sizzler, Goodwill donation center, FedEx shipping center and several other locations. The reason I mention these other businesses is because at lunchtime this parking lot is an absolute mess with no street parking so plan accordingly. If you are in dire need of some El Pollo Loco there is a Ralph’s supermarket right across the street where you can park and still manage to walk to EPL, eat and be back to your vehicle within the allotted ‘lunch hour.‘ I visited this location during off hours and was able to find parking right in front of this location. I walked in and was stoked to see how clean this location was. As I waited in the short line which was moving quickly I observed the staff sweeping, mopping & restocking the condiment section. I tend to never allow anyone to cook chicken for me so when I do order chicken outside of my own kitchen I always order it extremely well done. I ordered the 3 piece 2 sides(2 breasts &1 wing with Spanish rice, pinto beans & corn tortillas). The cashier upon taking my order made sure they expressed to the cook that I wanted my chicken ‘burnt.’ I figured I had a few minutes until my order was ready so I exited this EPL and walked down several businesses to a liquor store located within the same shopping center to play the lottery. When I returned my meal was still not ready so I sat down and figured I would watch the operation that this EPL has going on. I was very happy with what I observed. If you decide to eat your meal inside of this EPL they provide you with a number to place on your table. The number is not your tacky little ‘plastic’ job but a number placed on your table on top of a silver holder, very fancy. When you order is ready the staff rings a bell and an employee quickly takes your meal from the kitchen to your table. My order was ‘to-go,’ when my order was ready the cashier who took my order placed a piece of tinfoil onto of the Styrofoam so it did not melt. The cashier showed me the chicken prior to handing me my meal to ensure it was cooked exactly as I ordered it, it was=) I took the meal home and my furry little children went nuts. No matter where I went they followed. I had an amazing meal and so did they. The chicken was perfect, the sides were cooked to perfection there were no leftovers=) Without question I will be back to this location. I was very pleased with overall experience=) If you are looking for a new ‘go to’ El Pollo Loco look no further than this location you will not be disappointed you did.

El Pollo Loco makes pretty good chicken. And it seems like it’s healthier than KFC. I’ve worked pretty close to this restaurant for several years but have only been here a handful of times. It’s not that the food here is bad, it’s just a place you don’t usually think of when thinking of a place to go for lunch. If I were to come to this shopping center, I’d rather go to Petit Café. This restaurant gets pretty packed during lunch, but the lines move pretty fast. There is plenty of seats to eat at, and their salsa bar is decent.
