Burger falls apart when you bite into it. Really could use a bun upgrade. This is when you throw up the deuces and peace out. The fries were fire though. Enjoy yourselves.

I have always been curious to try this place. When Buzzfeed did a comparison putting them against In n Out, I had to come see for myself. The fries I would have to go with these fries. I am guessing it is sesame oil and its lightly salted but I really love the size, texture and flavor of these fries with some skin left on. They were so hot and delicious! I ate these first while driving back to my work(and ate them all because LA traffic is so slow! The burger was great and had SO many options for toppings. I went with all the top level condiments and grilled mushrooms — because I could! The burger is HUGE! Now that I know I will get the smaller size next time or stick with a larger burger and split the fries. It tasted like a better version of something you could find grilling in your buddies’ back yard. Next time I wanna try a shake — again with a TON of options. While to me the flavor a were amazing, I don’t feel like they beat In n Out. I will go in for a second opinion.

My experience here earlier this week left a lot to be desired. Originally, I came to this plaza looking to get PizzaRev for lunch. Despite it being only 11 a.m., the line was out the door, so I went next door to Five Guys. The food itself was fine. It wasn’t «knock your socks off» quality, and it’s not cheap by fast food standards, but it wasn’t bad, either. What bothered me was the service and pace of the kitchen. If you’re in a rush and looking to grab something and go, you’re going to be disappointed, as this Five Guys is VERY slow. It took 15 – 20 minutes for me to get a burger and fries. I understand you can’t make meat cook faster, but one would certainly expect quicker service from a «fast food» restaurant. If you’re not in a hurry, this probably won’t bother you, and as I mentioned, the food wasn’t bad. However, for what I needed, I was very disappointed.

When I got here I was REALLY confused. The place is called«5 guys» and fries of something, but when I got there to order my uncle some warm milk there were 3 girls serving me. No 5. No guys. No fries.

I have no problem with the food at Five Guys. Actually I LOVE their food, and Five Guys is probably my favorite burger chain in the area. However, something has recently gone horribly wrong at this location, and I’m hoping that down the road they can turn it around. I have recently had three to-go orders in a row have mistakes, all of which costed me money as I was not given parts of my order that I paid for. I wrote and gave feedback on the FG website, and about 2 weeks later I was contacted by one of the shift managers at the store. She was apologetic and offered me 2 – 3 free meals as a thank you for my continued business. The employees there honored one of those free meals, but since then they have refused my subsequent attempts to claim, saying that I will need to speak to the shift manager again. I haven’t seen her at the store lately so I’m not sure when this issue will clear up. I went in to order food to go again last night, to bring something quick home after a long day running around with the kids. My ticket(and two other people’s) somehow got lost and our food was never made, so after waiting 15 – 20 minutes I was asked to wait another 15 – 20 minutes while they started over. While waiting, I also overheard that there were two large orders ahead of us that had significant mistakes, and the customer were not happy. Out of everyone in the restaurant, 80% of the customers were either waiting for mistakes to be fixed, or in the process of complaining. I don’t know if they’ve recently hired a few bad apples here or what, or if management is changing over or not doing their job. I do know that this location probably can’t afford to be this out of sync for long, with The Habit across the street and with the new In n Out one block away. As it stands now, I am taking a long break from this location, because I’m tired of getting my hopes up and being frustrated over and over again. FG has good food, when their employees have it together and do a good job.

One of the better 5Guys. Always clean, plenty of parking in the evenings. The staff is always nice. The only thing is that there are homeless people who regularly hangout outside asking me for money.

Cheeseburgers and cajun fries here are pretty good. I’ve had some bad experiences at other locations, but here the burger was tasty. I have to say that they don’t always do a good job of melting the cheese on the burgers, but if you eat your fries first and wait for a few minutes the cheese will finish melting on its own. Sometimes it comes out good as soon as you get it, but I just wait a bit while my burger is still wrapped in foil just in case so I’m guaranteed to get my cheese melted. I came with a coworker and his cheese wasn’t melted because like most normal people he went for the burger first and when he asked the staff to melt the cheese for him, they made him a whole new burger! Staff here is really cool. They also play good classic rock, though it was a bit loud today. The food is a bit pricey for fast food. A cheeseburger(which is double patty by default) is about 8 dollars. With fries and a soda the total came out to $ 15.45. I’ll definitely come back whenever I’m craving a good burger and fries. Pros: + Tasty burger + Awesome Cajun Fries + Good music + Cool staff Cons: — Parking spaces are tiny — Pricey — Sometimes the cheese isn’t melted

Every time i come here to El Segundo the staff is amazing. And the food is too. Especially compared to other Five Guys locations(don’t get me started on the Wilshire location in LA)…sitting here, eating a great meal & watching employee Curtis kill it — from the second i walked in. Kind, courteous & going the extra mile w/every single guest — i hope management notices this entire team — they are what keeps us all coming back. Nicely done!

I’m so disappointed with the service I received today. I walked in and stood in line for about 5 – 7 minutes, no big deal. Ordered without and issue. Now here’s where things have gone downhill. I stood waiting for 21 minutes from the time I ordered to time I picked up my food. The place wasn’t full nor extremely busy. I watched as orders were being distributed and it was chaos. Orders came out so random. As I was waiting I watched as people ordered, received their food, and leave. Others were left with long waits. I got my food and set down and my burger order wasn’t correct. Such a disappointment.

Review 61⁄366 I’ll be honest, I never understood the appeal of Five Guys. I ordered the Little Cheeseburger, with grilled onions and mushrooms add to it. There were barely any onions nor mushrooms. I also ordered their small cajun fries, which were okay. As a relatively health conscious person, I feel like if I’m going to indulge in a burger and/or the calories, it better be worth it. In my opinion, I’ve had burgers that were more flavorful, for less or the same amount of fat and calories. Oh, a tip that I learned from my boss: mix some ketchup w/some of the malt vinegar and you’ll get something like bbq– it’s a great sauce for the fries :)

The prices are pretty high for a cheeseburger. They are good though. The fries are just the right amount of salt and potato.

The burgers were okay. Not what I was expecting and a lot pricier than I thought it would be. However I do like that they give you the«create your own burger» option. 6⁄10 recommend sometimes

Damn I fell in love with this burger place! The male behind the counter suggested a couple of items on their menu and was SUPERNICE. My friends and I ordered: 1 Kosher Style Hot Dog, 2 Bacon Cheeseburgers, 1 Little Hamburger, 2 large orders of their amazing Cajun Fries, Chocolate Shake, and Fountain Drinks… You must try their Cajun Fries, there is no other place that makes mouthwatering Cajun fries like Five Guys! As we waited for our orders to come out, we got a small container with complimentary peanuts to snack on. A few minutes later our order was ready and it was soooo delicious! Our Chocolate Shakes were also great! There is also a big parking lot in the back which is cool! Their customer service was the best! Can’t wait for my friends and I to head back soon.

Great as always. I love five guys. This was my first time to this location and I loved it as usual. Great food, great service, and the line was shorter than the other restaurants right next door, so this place made perfect sense for my weekday lunch.

I’ve been coming to this location for some time now for lunch and I can say that the quality is consistently good. Their burgers may not win in the presentation category, but they make up for it with great flavors and free toppings! The Cajun seasoned fries are one of my favorites. You can also get the Cajun seasoning on the side. The handmade shakes are great too! Lots of flavors to choose from and you can even make up your own flavor combo. I’ve been told that not all Five Guys offer shakes, so if yours does, give it a try!

I came in here with my uncle and cousin for the first time and we all really enjoyed it. They have peanuts that you can help yourself to and eat while you wait. A lot of the shells end up on the floor but that adds to the charm of the place. We all got Bacon Cheeseburgers and shared two order of fries. The burger was well cooked and the fries were hot and fresh. It’s a good burger joint that hits the spot when you’re craving it. Service was also good. Our order was up in a timely manner and all the employees were super friendly. We’ll be back again soon.

Great burgers and fries, they stay true to their name. However, I wish their bun was more tasty but everything else was great. The burger was moist and flavorful, each condiment and ingredient tantalized my palate. The bun was very average, like what you might use if you had an outdoor bbq at a neighbors house.
