A fairly fun park to skate around in if you happen to be in the area. But I certainly wouldn’t travel any great distances to come here for a multitude of reasons: 1) Its an 18 and Younger park only. What kind of crap is this?! Older guys like myself can’t relive our youth by skating a local park??? Sneaking in during the off hours is the only way to catch a session here. 2) Helmets and Pads required. I’m not a kid anymore therefore if I want to crack my head open while trying to grind I should be entitled to. 3) Its hours are from 10:00AM — 3:00PM. Why can’t it just be open all day? 4) There’s an attendant. Which means he’ll bust me and tell me to leave once he realizes I’m well over the age of 18. 5) Some oddly placed obstacles make for a weird flow of the course. 6) There’s no coping on the top of the quarter pipes which makes for a hell of a time when trying to grind. The Pros: 1) Its concrete so its a pretty smooth ride. 2) The quarter pipes are only about 4 feet, so you can get pretty brave with the tricks you want to try. 3) Nice embankment on one side opposite from the roll-in to maintain your speed. 4) At 11:00PM there’s no one around so you have the whole park to yourself, illegally of course.
