Stopped by here before heading to LAX to pick up family and I’m sad to say I was disappointed and irritated by the time I left. The cashier referred a combination of teas that we were excited to try, but it took a while to come out. We waited to grab someone’s attention, but people just looked past us. When we were finally able to ask someone, they realized they forgot to make our drink. It was very busy during this time, so we were understanding that things were a bit backed up and orders get lost sometimes. The girl who helped us was nice about making our drink as soon as possible, but she got the tea selections wrong. We waited for a while again, until we finally got the girl’s attention and explained what teas we wanted. She gave us the tea bag and a $ 4 gift card for what happened. While I’m appreciative of her attempt to make up for what happened, I was disappointed at how long we stood there without anyone asking us if we needed help. If a customer is standing there looking at you and patiently waiting, you can at least take a few seconds to ask if they need anything. One of the baristas didn’t even make eye contact and I know he knew we were standing there. Hopefully it was just bad timing for us and they really do have good customer service other than what we experienced. As a customer, no one wants to feel unimportant and I’m sad this happened at a Starbucks.

This location was pretty friendly. Food and drinks were the same as any Starbucks location, but when you’re dying tired and stressed because you have a paper due the iced coffee did the job for me. Cool location right by the beach, workers were pretty cute. might drive all the way from Glendale just to study there. lmao. see you guys again soon!

This place is fine but would be SOMUCHBETTER if it were bigger with more places to sit and enjoy items once purchased. Mostly just a «to go» place, which limits its appeal for us. The space next to it is available and they should expand into it — they would get so much more traffic. People around here are looking for places to sit and have informal meetings or conversations(many businesses, stay at home moms and people who work from home) and they miss a real opportunity by remaining so small.

The very worst Starbucks around with little if any redeeming quality to speak of. Bad location. Bad parking. Slow workers. Filled with kids. Takes ages to order, let alone get your drink. Want to reload a card because the shitty app can only reload via credit card at a register, in a store? Get in line. Again. When you try bypassing all this shit and do so by ordering via your mobile, and even when their god awful app tells you that your drive is way longer than prep of your coffee, this location somehow still gets you to wait for it beyond the time window and gives you a latte barely two thirds full. Yes, surprising enough — a 12 minute drive for a grande meets tall latte isn’t long enough for them to make it. Perhaps if Starbucks hired more people or your wait stopped being around this mass of loud, rather privileged douchebag tweens… er…right? Until then just go to the one at Sepulveda and Rosecrans.

I’ve been here a couple of times the first time, my latte tasted a bit watered down. when I asked about getting another one, i was treated poorly like I had to apologize for asking for another drink. On my second visit. I asked the manager for a cup of water and i was told that bottled water was $ 2.00 and that water is for those that purchase something. The manager had a scab or disease on her nose, so I didn’t catch her name. I almost refused the water since I was hoping she did not make it. Once again I informed the manager that I patronize Starbucks very well, but I felt as if I was apoligizing. I hope it wasn’t because I brought my black friend(manager racist) with me or perhaps the manager needs to be retrained on Starbucks policy and customer service. I don’t recommend this Starbucks to anyone.

It’s a nice little place for a cup of coffee. Service is fast and friendly every time. The parking lot is a little tricky as it can be challenging to find a spot at times but it’s not too bad. The store is cozy and usually quiet but it’s pretty small so sitting there with your computer is not easy to do. There must be about 3 tables with chairs inside and another 2 or 3 tables outside. That’s the only think I find myself missing when I come here, I wish they had more room to sit and enjoy your coffee like you’d usually do in any other Starbucks store.

Well it’s a Starbucks! It’s walking distance and that’s the gist of it. It’s smaller than the others, as well as parking lot. It’s always busy/congested. Parking lot filled up throughout the day — well that’s great for business! As for me, I don’t go as often as I like, but that’s just me. Service is okay, I haven’t experienced the bad like the others have mentioned, but then again I don’t frequent it. Coffee is good, but I don’t see the larger selection of drinks like elsewhere. Well again it’s so close to me, I’ll continue to go, but probably not as much as I normally would, the parking & constant traffic in & out(other businesses too) discourages me — while I can walk there as well, but it’s still discouraging. Would be nice to see them move in another bigger location with larger parking lot nearby, it could happen, it’s Starbucks!

Typical Starbucks. I have a major qualm, though: the layout of the store absolutely BLOWS. I went here yesterday with plans to camp out all day and finish up a paper I’ve been working on. Unfortunately, due to the layout and the heavy traffic in and out of the store, I had to leave in order to get anything done. This is so not your ‘camp out’ Starbucks, unless of course you don’t mind sitting outside or you don’t mind having people stand within inches of your face while they stand around waiting for their drinks or while they’re posting up in front of you chatting with a friend. It’s not the customer’s fault — it’s the layout that leaves then no choice. Most of the indoor seating is along a beautiful floor-to-ceiling window that looks out on Grand, but that beauty is completely undermined by the layout. The few seats along the window are close together. The worst seat is directly across from the only restroom — eww. Strangely, it’s probably the best seat as far as getting away from the heavy traffic at the bar. All and all I would not come back unless only to retrieve a drink and go. I ended up camping out at Coffee Bean yesterday. Bummer. This could’ve been great. I would’ve been an über regular to this particular store had it worked out yesterday.

They have very good drinks well done, some are unfriendly while taking orders and when you are going to get your stuff when ready the people serving are very rude they don’t even answer if you ask for anything like a straw they just point at the container and don’t even say a word or acknowledge the customers I’ll still go and get my drink here but if those employees are not in the mood don’t take it out on those going to get a damn coffee.

Really enjoyed the feeling of having my birthday reward rejected and their solution that is me calling customer service. Thanks, Starbucks, for tricking me into venturing into your store one final time.

The staff at this Starbucks is so unfriendly… I’m in the service industry and a smile is all it takes to leave a customer with a good experience. I took my business to the Blue Butterfly and am so glad I did! A friendly staff makes all the difference!!!

I won’t waste time reviewing Starbucks’ food or dink. BY now, everyone probably knows what they’re getting when visiting a Starbucks. I’ll focus this review on comparison against other Starbucks in the area. Accessibility — Small parking lot in front that can get filled up. There’s additional parking, just not within sight of the store(if that matters for you). Interior — Small interior with only 5 small tables and some counter seats. It can be hard to snag a seat if you come at the wrong time. There is outside seating. The plus is that most all of the inside seating has access to a power outlet. This is a smaller location, so there is only one unisex bathroom. Crowd — Looked to be mostly locals stopping in to grab a drink or bite. Only gets loud at a few times during the day. All in all, this is an ok location. There are probably better and worse locations near by. If you are looking to setup here for an extended period of time, get here early to snag a seat.

I’ve changed my tune a bit since my first review. Now that I come in here a few times a week they do know my name and I know theirs. It’s nice. Drinks are always made with a smile and they work very hard. I appreciate that they never fail to mention any specials going on… treat receipt, Halloween drinks, etc. Very small although there is some outdoor seating.

The staff at this particular location is always so nice and welcoming. It’s the same people working behind the counter all the time and I like it. Be prepared to wait though, this place is always sporting a line.

Friendly staff, clean shop, quick service. I took away 1 star because last time they didn’t call my name when my coffee was ready so it just sat there on the counter until I got impatient and went in search of it. There were a lot of ppl here that day but I still expected them to tell me when it was ready.

After a long day of apartment hunting with the boyfriend and his future roommate, this Starbucks was just around the corner of the apartment they were looking at. *crosses my fingers, hoping this will be the location* We had to drop by to use the restroom so I didn’t want us to look bad, so I went to the cashier and asked for a water. Haha… I know… I should have ordered at least a tall drink, but I really wasn’t feeling coffee or tea at the moment. Staffs here were nice. They did not charge me for the tall water. There’s a couple of tables and a barstool seating, ah. awesome! Too bad there’s only one restroom, so good luck to you all who likes to drink a lot of coffee within the time and need to use the bathroom really badly. You just gots to wait like everyone else!
