I have to say, I was surprised by this place! I was looking for places for Mother’s Day and this came up on the listings for restaurants, I had been to The Links and used the driving range a few times but I had not considered dining here for lunch. They offer a good array of breakfast and lunch fare and I selected a roasted chicken salad to be made into a wrap, and also selected a side of curly fries… Curly fries! The seating area was spacious and there was a large outdoor area with a scenic pond bordering it, the interior is a bit drab and could use an update but the staff was friendly and attentive. I look to return with buddies!

I work around the corner from here and would NEVER have stopped by for lunch if a co-worker had not clued me into the best Tuna Melt in the area. We get so tied up at work that we can go a whole day and never leave the office. The Fairway is the perfect cure for this disease. The service is very nice, the food is very good and if you want to work off the lunch you can pay 7. for a bucket of balls and take your frustration out on the driving range. I highly recommend the Tuna Melt with Avocado. The Chile is very good and I have not had the Hamburger but my friends love it. My only complaint is the damn bird in the trees. If you go you need to move your little table out from under the danger zone if you know what I mean.

I work right near this place and frequent the Café on a weekly basis. I’m almost afraid to Unilocal it because I don’t want it to get super busy. This is a great place to go in El Segundo that is quick and good. I hate the fact that if I go out at lunch in this dang city it’s like a freaking Zoo! The Fairway Café is a nice break from the rat race that gets overlooked because it is on a Golf Course, and I’m glad. It has a beautiful outside patio that is nice to eat on during the middle of the day with a little lake and waterfall that is nice and relaxing. The service is quick and friendly and they know me by name here now which you hardly get anymore when you go somewhere. The dining room isn’t fancy but it works and there is a flat-screen TV that usually has the Golf Channel on it which works for me. You can tell they do banquets here in the evening, wedding receptions, parties, etc. and it would be a cool place to have an event if you had an event to put on. As for the food, it’s nothing to write home about but has the basics. Sandwich’s, Burgers, Salads, Tacos, Burritos, Soups, your basic lunch fare. I’ve never been here for dinner and I don’t even know if they have dinner. I don’t know what kind of banquet food they have either. Overall I enjoy eating lunch here, I will go here any day of the week.

The Fairway Café is the great place for breakfast, lunch or beer/wine in the afternoon or happy hour. The food is great, the service excellent, and there is a choice of inside eating or patio dining by the pond and waterfall. Too it has a great view of the golf course(holes 1 and 9). Very relaxing. They recently added a «Brunch and Golf» package on Sundays. You get 9 holes of golf and breakfast for a set price. Lunch has a daily special and priced quite nicely. There is a good crowd during the summer months for lunch, and weekends for breakfast and lunch. Afternoons are good for the happy hours and the 19th hole(actually 10th hole here since a 9 hole course). There is also a banquet room and catering available as well. I have been to a number of parties there, which were excellent. The nice part is you can have a band on the patio, and no neighbors will complain(Chevron to the west, Raytheon to the east, El Segundo Plaza to the south, and misc businesses to the north).
