Customer service is good but they are very short on the rice and chicken here. Most of all the other locations add mor rice and chicken in their mini bowls. At least to the top.

This place had the absolute worst food of any flame broiler I’ve ever been to. The chicken which was supposed to be white meat was hard as a rock and had no flavor. The vegetables were soggy and full of water and they barely put any rice in a bowl. I will never ever come of this location again

I saw a poster on the wall that they had just changed the size of their bowl to make it later. Sounds awesome right?! Not! This would be great if they actually filled it to capacity! I don’t visit here often but don’t sell me short when I order a $ 9 bowl.

It’s just okay. Typical day: I’m at work and BAM… hunger strikes! Oh dang, its too late and the cafeteria probably only has scraps for the same overpriced regular meals. Okay, lets get something quick thats close-by. This plaza has Subway, zPizza, and Flamebroiler. Crap! Guess its flamebroiler… again. Have I been to better flamebroilers? Yes. I specifically compare this one to a Flamebroiler in San Diego where I swear it was my primary diet besides california burritos. So I know Flamebroiler, and this location fails miserably in comparison. The workers here are dreadful. I’m constantly worried if they dropped something in my food or just forgot to do something critical like wash their hands or clean the magic sauce spouts. Not much enthusiasm or even happiness in here. I’d actually probably up the star rating if the food completely sucked and the workers were outgoing and cared a little. But no… life sucks here. So why do I keep coming back? Cause its fairly healthy and fairly cheap and a somewhat convenient location for me. Also, my food choices are limited based on my crazy work schedule and limited time. This plaza used to have a salad creations which was a really nice alternative, but no longer. They even had happy workers! I don’t get it. So come here if you must. Just know that there are better options if you have time to get to Aviation, Sepulveda, or Rosecrans.

Review 7⁄365 So my friend and I called in for an order. We originally asked for the order to be delivered and the person over the phone sounded a bit clueless, before finally, in a very deadpan tone, «no». Anyways, the call-in order was odd, I wouldn’t say the service was bad, but definitely a bit uncomfortable. The food was decent. It’s a great healthy option for whenever I don’t feel like cafeteria food.

I only came here because the cafeteria in my building closed early today @ 1. so i walked over to this location, got here in 10 mins. Cashier is fast. food comes out even faster. They don’t make anything fresh, all the food is back there in their containers, and I’m served old chicken and dry steak. the chicken is so nasty i couldn’t even eat it. I ordered works bowl, with no cabbage, brown rice and green onions. Steak — dry. Chicken — dry, nasty and cold. brown rice — rice is rice… Teriyaki Sauce and hot sauce — smell old after it’s pumped, you smell nothing but sourness and vinegar. NOW… I’m sitting at my desk at work, after I forced half the bowl into my mouth, with a huge stomach ache, and a huge feeling of regret. that’s the last time i’m going to this flame broiler. EVER I think they raised the prices here too… WHATFOR? who’s going to pay 1.25+ for shitty food. oh yeah. they stingy with the napkins here too.

Eh. This lunch spot is close to where I work so I like the convenience of it. It’s also reasonably priced. The food is OK. The meat is pretty dry. I recommend getting a lot of magic sauce. I also like that they have jalapenos on the side. I always get a bunch! I’ll still come back here as it’s a good value and it’s OK.

Literally a hole in the wall. Ordered the«half/half» bowl. Picture looked like half chicken /half beef. That’s what I got but when I Sat down to enjoy it, realized it was half empty /half full. They skimp on the portions. They should have smaller bowls if they’re going to cheat customers on a $ 7 chicken bowl. Anyways, you’ve been warned. I won’t be back. And they have the nerve to put out a tip jar… WHATTHEHELLFOR???

I had the angus beef bowl. It felt like the rice took up almost ¾ of the bowl. I prefer a more even proportion of rice to meat, like fifty-fifty and with a smaller bowl. The beef tasted really good, and they got my food quickly. I like that there’s an option to use brown rice instead of white rice.

Came here for a lunch meeting. The food was okay. They packed in the rice and not enough meat and vegetables to my liking.

Love the food, not the service. Last time I was here they did not have rice, that is like a bakery not having bread. Come on people!

I really want to love this location. I have been here multiple times and unfortunately the cashier is rude and never says thank you. He has the worst attitude in the world and I don’t think he really enjoys his job. Maybe he is the owner and don’t understand customer service. Oh yes they are CHEAP with the napkins. He gives you ONE little napkin.

Super close to my work and very quick with orders. I usually order the Half and Half bowl or mini with brown rice. Their brown rice is cooked pretty well. Never had problems with my order. Jorge who works there is always friendly and I usually chit chat with him for a couple of minutes.

I came here for lunch to get a beef bowl. Upon entering flame broiler I was greeted with Jorge who had the worst attitude ever. You can tell by his attitude that he didn’t want to be there to work on this day. This of course raised a red flag as I knew something was going to go very bad with my order. I requested a beef bowl with extra beef no rice and only broccoli. And of course when I got my beef bowl back to my office I received carrots and cabbage and a whole Bunch of rice and no broccoli. You know customer service should be a top priority with any food service. Good service goes along way with me. But to be greeted with a terrible attitude and to have my order messed up grieves me deeply. Flame broiler management please train your people to be courteous and attentive to every customer that walks through your door. Worst service ever.

The beef was dry and jerky-like. Didn’t look appetizing, and didn’t taste good. I also ordered a side of kimchi, and it was around $ 3 for a styrofoam container of it – WAY too much to eat with my meal. Not sure if they’ve fixed this by now by making it a smaller, cheaper portion(or taken it off the menu altogether), but I thought it was pretty ridiculous.

I go here because it’s within walking distance of my work. The service is fast, but that’s only because they cook everything beforehand so they can just dump it into the bowls and plates quickly because they know most customers are on lunch break. If you go after 1pm the food has been sitting out for awhile already. I got sick one time eating here because the food was sitting out for too long. The brown rice is good and not too dry. I like how they dont charge extra for this healthier option. If you get the mini bowl you’ll be hungry before your work shift ends. I usually get the works bowl and that is just enough for me. Short summary: Fast service, healthy options, but don’t order after the lunch rush is over.

This was probably the worst Flame Broiler I’ve had anywhere. Talk about cutting corners. I’m pretty sure this place is doing that, and they still get business simply because of the proximity to DirecTV’s corporate offices. Where do I start? I’ve had a bowl there twice. The beef was hard and dry as if it was cooked the day earlier and they didn’t even bother microwaving it. Or, that they did re-microwave it and they it cooled for another 24 hours. I think there’s dog food out there that is better. The chopped green onions on top, you can really tell when you get really old green onions. They have a fiberous tough texture, almost like corn husk. Not sure why I went back to try it. I think it was only because some coworkers wanted to go, and I just went with the crowd, but the chicken was almost as dry as the beef and tasteless. No amount of sauce can make that taste good. Not happening again! I threw away my food after a couple of bites on both occasions. Only go here if you are trying to get sick so you can go home early from work!

I like this spot a lot. Love that they have all of the calorie info listed clearly on the menu and I believe this to be healthier than most places near by. Also the owner /manager is really nice and friendly and they seem to really handle the lunch rush better than most spots in the same strip mall. Overall a nice easy healthy spot for lunch

Remember when you’re at the food court in the mall… those people who hand out free samples of their chicken teriyaki? Well, this place is just like that place, except it’s not in a mall. The food here has no msg, is not fried, has no trans fat, and has no skin on the meat. It tastes the same… but I guess it’s «Kind of» healthier. Although, a chicken teriyaki bowl has around 600 calories. I like this place. I also like that they also serve brown rice instead of just white rice. The chicken is pretty good. I haven’t tried their beef. The prices are good. Don’t plan on eating here though when you come. There are only a few tables. and the store is very small. It’s set up more for takeout. Parking: There’s plenty of parking. They share a lot with Kaya Sushi, Starbucks and a few other stores.
