Went to one of my favorite Goodwills for vintage slips and found a brand new Dollar Tree instead. Not as large as El Cerrito, but much bigger than downtown Berkeley. Brand-​new clean, spacious, and well –stocked, particularly paper goods. Good-​sized parking lot and not too crowded.

Dollar Tree’s personnel is very helpful in locating goods i wanted.
getting in and out is another matter. oncoming traffic moves fast, one lane signals ok to cross, other lane is gunning engine. so had to gun engine to get in

–heavy traffic inhibits fast entry and exit.
