Basically it’s a pieology. After moving back home from cal ira great to see elk Grove expanding like it is! Now part of post grad funemployment is stuffing my face with as much food as I can. Chipotle build your own pizza! Being in berk and having access to such good food especially pizza bias a the time. This isn’t zacharys or cheesboard pizza but I mean it’s fairly inexpensive and beats your typical chains.

First time trying this place out. Decided to head there with some coworkers on a Friday for lunch. When we arrived on Friday around 12:45pm it was not busy at all — very surprising. Place is located off Laguna Blvd in the Target Shopping Center across from the Old Spaghetti Restaurant. When you walk in, you will see a menu & some step by step directions on how to order. We walked in and the staff were very friendly and helpful explaining the process to me being the first time every being there. So many choices. So my pizza: White Sauce with Mozzarella Cheese Bacon & Sausage Grilled Onions Olives Artichoke Hearts Mushrooms Came out to just about $ 10 with a drink — a little pricey. Pizza did not take long at all to cook. I would say I may have only waiting 10 minutes from the time I paid to the time they brought out my pizza. From what I understand, since the oven is so HOT, it doesn’t take long for the pizza to cook. Since it wasn’t too busy, the staff was very nice and they brought the pizza out to me at my table. Very friendly service. Awesome first time here. Will definitely be going back with the family to try out some other combinations.

This place is GENIUS!!! Subway-style pizza, perfect for those of us who can never agree on just one perfect pizza. The absolute perfect size pizza that each person can individually add anything their heart desires to. GENIUS. And for those little kiddos they have the little blaster for $ 5.25 which comes with a drink. I also love that they have healthier options for crust like wheat or gluten free. They also have many options for pizza sauces which are all wonderful but my favorite is the white sauce which is perfectly garlicky! The best part for me is the unlimited toppings. Stack it to the ceiling and no one will bat an eye. And you get all this awesomeness for only $ 8.25. A steal! They also have HUGE salads the are made to order… delicious. Love the atmosphere and the customer service was excellent. Very happy place to work! We will definitely be spreading the word of this great little find.

It’s nice to have a make-your-own personal sized pizza locally without having to go downtown. The concept is pretty much the same as other establishments. I came during lunch hour on a Saturday and boy did it get crowded! There’s seating inside and outside, but can get busy. I don’t know if it was just me, but I could not find a menu — was it the large wall right when you walk in? I was looking for a paper menu but couldn’t find one. Anyway, I decided to get half pesto and half marinara with random toppings. It’s a flat bread type of pizza. My order came out cooked just right, but I regretted not getting more toppings. I’m not too big on pizza, so what I had here was just so-so.

My visit here was good, minus the hair that was found in my pizza. The manager did a good job on making it right. The staff is still working through some kinks in their motions, and they were polite when we asked them to change their gloves while putting all the toppings on our pizzas. The concept is very similar to Pieology, which is in downtown, but it seems that they have a bit more options when it comes to toppings. Seating on the inside is a bit limited, but if it’s not a cold/rainy day there is outdoor seating available.

Ordered pizza for the family, all ordering our own unique styles. The toppings are delicious, the options are plentiful! Service was great. But the pizza itself wasn’t a favorite. To me it needed to be cooked longer, of course not realizing this until we came home to enjoy. The dough out the rim delicious, the dough in the middle… doughy. Toppings didn’t seemed cooked all the way like the salami, and other meats with a watery consistency. So I give this place a, Meh. Makes me miss SoCal where they had MOD and Blaze. Similar styles as this one.

Located on Laguna Blvd. in the same plaza as Target and Petco. next door to Jack’s. Indoor and outdoor seating The place is small. You can create your own pizza and/or salad. They have signature ones if you’re not up for that. Original, Wheat, or Gluten-Free doughs. They have Daiya cheese but when I referred to it as Vegan cheese(it wasn’t out on the counter), the gal didn’t know what I was talking about until I referred to it as «Dairy-Free». but they have it at no extra charge. There’s a decent topping selection. Fresh jalapeños! Usually I see canned ones. The oven didn’t look very big and my pizza could’ve been cooked a little longer. Perhaps they’re afraid of burning the pizza. For $ 8.25+, it’s aight. I’m happy Blast 825 is an option. Dessert is also available. Pepsi fountain machine and two flavors of «Blastade» lemonade. . and a frequent buyer card!

Blast 825 is a great addition to this area. I don’t think there’s anything similar to a BYO pizza restaurant within the vicinity, which is great for business. I usually love anything I can customize, but my creation here was just okay. I literally make the same pizza at every BYO pizza joint. The pizza I made here was more on the bland side, despite all of the toppings. Also, the pizza could have been cooked more. I took my pizza to go, so unfortunately I couldn’t ask for it to be cooked more. Each slice didn’t hold its shape; and no, I didn’t overload my pizza. The crust was just too soft for me. The employees were nice, but a little slow. It was as if they were trying to give me exact portions of each topping I asked for. Um, last time I checked, the menu says UNLIMITEDTOPPINGS… I’m convinced now more than ever that Pieology is the one for me. However, this location is a lot easier for me to get to than downtown. For that reason, I will more than likely return — and ask for my pizza to be cooked more ;)

I am currently obsessed with Blast 825! You know how you have always wanted to create your own special pizza at the pizza joint but end up skimping due to the price per topping could end up getting a $ 25 pie? Well at Blast 825 you can create your dream pizza with unlimited toppings for $ 8.25! Gotta love that concept. You start with a selection of either wheat, white, or gluten free thin crusts and after that your use your imagination to create the perfect pie with a variety of suaces, cheeses, meats, veggies, canned fruits. You can also divide the toppings in ½ as the pizzas are large enough to share for two. Although if you are super hungry one person could easily take one down. While the wait in line can be about 10 minutes it is actually a pretty fast process and due to the super hot oven your pie is hot and ready in a flash. Don’t forget to ask for the oregano or Italian seasonings to sprinkle on top. I was a bit hesitant if I would like it since it was thin crust and I am a Chicago pizza kinda girl but the thin crust is so fresh and crispy and what is not to love when you customize your own dish? My only con is I wish the spicy marinara sauce and spicy pepperoni were actually spicy. I also appreciate that I can add a side garden salad for $ 3.50 with tomatoes, cheese, olives, cranberries, etc. The workers are young but very enthusiastic and friendly. Way to go Blast 825!

Color me impressed. Elk Grove gets a make-your-own-pizza place? Kramer would be so proud. These are really popular in LA/the bay, and EG has definitely been pretty hip to trends lately. This place does it right, and CHEAPER than those places. Best part about EG… The price is always lower. Great place to eat… And for crazy cheap. Elk Grove snags another winner. ATMOSPHERE: 4.5÷5 — Plenty of parking. Right next to Jack’s Urban Eats, in the Target shopping center. Tons of space. — The inside is spacious and has a decent amount of space. It looks a lot like a chipotle lol, I guess they followed the model to the T. — They even have a little patio to enjoy your food, which we couldn’t really do because it was raining. SERVICE: 3⁄5 — This has been the knock on the Unilocal reviews I’ve read, which is interesting because they don’t really do much service for you other than put the ingredients on the pizza. — The first girl who helped us was very enthusiastic, which was nice. However, the second girl who helped us looked she was having a bad time and had zero enthusiasm. She put the ingredients on without looking, as she stared off miserably into space. She killed the whole vibe and made our pizzas inconsistent. — Pizza was done very fast, however. FOOD: 4.5÷5 — Pretty dang tasty. Unlimited toppings is a delicious incentive and is just as great as it sounds. Capitalize on unlimited meats! — Choose from normal crust, wheat, and gluten free(+ $ 2.00), and a handful of sauces. Then everything from there is… unlimited. Notice the theme? — Great selection, I must’ve gotten at least 10 toppings. — Very decent size for one person(great leftovers for later!), could definitely be shared by two people if they weren’t both starving. — They also offer salad with unlimited toppings too! — For those indecisive people, they also offer set pizzas and salads. PRICE: 5⁄5 — Unlimited for under $ 8. That’s insane. Hopefully they don’t jack up the price after awhile. In SF/LA it goes for around $ 10. — For two people, we got two pizzas for under $ 18, awesome. — So cheap, wtf.

I was so excited to finally try out Blast 825 Pizza. I’m going to tell you right off, I love this place! The pizza is great. It’s good, quick, and cheap, and the customer service rocks! There are really only 2 sizes of pizza. You can get a regular pizza or a little blasters kids pizza. But really, it makes sense for every adult to get a regular pizza. We didn’t even order kids pizzas. We just fed the kids from the adult pizzas. When you walk in they ask you what type of dough you want. You can pick from original, wheat, or gluten free. Then you can pick a sauce or 2(they let you go half half if you want) from marinara, spicy marinara, white alfredo, pesto, and garlic oil. Then you can add your cheeses, meats, and veggies and even fruits(way too many to name). The best part about all this is that for $ 8.50 a pizza you can get all the toppings you want. My husband’s pizza had pesto, pepperoni, salami, sausage, bacon, linguisa, shredded and fresh mozzarella, roasted garlic, fresh tomatoes, red onion, green peppers, feta, and parmesan cheese. My pizza had spicy marinara, pepperoni, salami, sausage, linguisa, bacon, ham, shredded and fresh mozzarella, roasted garlic, red onion, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, green onion, mandarin oranges, pineapple, and parmesan cheese. I LOVED the taste of the pizza. The spicy marinara sauce was flavorful and it wasn’t even spicy. I mean my 3 year old daughter had a piece so if she could have it then I think the spiciness is nothing. The crust was good and solid. I can also tell you that I took 2 pieces of pizza home and they tasted heavenly to me the next day. My husband said that the only things he would change about the restaurant are that they definitely need more seating and they should have a wall of beer taps. Other than that he said this was the perfect quick dining experience. I have already been back to Blast 825 again since my 1st visit and I think my family will be visiting regularly. Be sure to ask them for the frequent buyer card so that you can earn some free pizza. For all of you thinking about trying this place, don’t hesitate. Just do it! The pizza is good, it’s super cheap, it’s super quick, and the customer service is spot on. You really have no reason not to try this place! It’s such a welcome addition to Elk Grove. Also, if you’re in line waiting for the Spaghetti Factory and the chances of getting seated soon are looking slim, Blast 825 is mere steps away and I guarantee you you’ll be in and out of there faster. They also have locations in Roseville and Rocklin. Blast 825 Pizza is Jax Approved!

I enjoyed my first visit here. The freedom of creating your own pizza is awesome. Walking into the restaurant I got this instant feeling of a enthusiastic friendly people. Most of the staff members are young so it felt like high school all over again. Start of by waiting in line and when it’s your turn to order you get to pick your dough. Online it says they have two different types including gluten free or standard dough. They didn’t ask what kind of dough when I reached to the front of the line but I imagine if you want gluten free they will get you one. After you selected your dough, type of sauce is the next station. Selections range from marinara, pesto, BBQ, white sauce, and olive oil. Meat selection is the next station with your standard meats and vegetables come last. There weren’t any vegetables that is different so they have your basic veggies. Online they claim you can have up to 3 meats and 4 veggies but one of the girls said you can have as many meats or veggies you want. After you constructed your masterpiece, they place it in the fire for about 10 min and behold you have your pizza. Of course they have their signature pizzas if you don’t want to make your own. Just let them know what pizza you want while you go through the line.

I really love this create your own pizza concept! I was hearing about places like this cropping up in other districts with good reviews, so when this pizza parlor arrived in the Elk Grove area, Joe recommended that we try it out. It was lunch time when we got there and it was already pretty busy inside, but fortunately, there were still tables available for us to occupy. I waited in a very short line, but it was still long enough to give me time to get my wits together and make a mental note of what pizza toppings I was going to decide on. You start off by choosing what type of pizza dough you would like from original, wheat or gluten free. Then come the sauces and cheeses as the server skillfully spreads them onto your dough. The next and final step is much more complicated as there are numerous toppings to choose from that include a variety of meats to a variety of veggies. The best thing about this kind of pizza kitchen, is that you are given an unlimited selection of toppings to choose from! You can have as little or as much as you want, and pay just one very reasonable price of $ 7.95 for a small single serving pizza! And it only took a matter of minutes for our food to flash bake to a piping hot readiness! Joe K and I had our own versions of vegetarian style pizza pies and had so much to eat, that I ended up having to take the rest home. My only disappointment was that I chose a spicy hot marinara sauce that was a bit too spicy for my taste buds and made it hard for me to enjoy the rest of the flavorful toppings that I had looked forward to savoring. I also noticed that our pizzas seemed to cool off quicker than I would have liked. But since I’m a slow eater, that’s something I must learn to accept. If you are not in the mood for pizza, you can also build your own salad or try one of their own salad creations. A nice selection of fountain drinks are available including bottled beers. I’m looking forward to patronizing this place again, now that I have my favorite topping selections predetermined and memorized in my head!

There’s so many build your own pizza places, but this is the first one I’ve been to. When we got in line, I made sure to ask for a lot of toppings. My brother is a vegetarian, so I was just trying to make up for him. The pizza came out fairly quick– 3 minutes in the 825 degree brick oven. I liked the thin crust since I don’t like crust much. The pizza was good, but I’ve had better. Something that I feel the need to mention is the employee who handled the spinach at the end for my pizza. He was tearing and placing them on without gloves. After seeing him do that, I told him that was enough spinach. While he was handling my pizza, I heard another employee tell him to put gloves on too. Needless to say, I picked out the spinach when I got home.

HELLTOTHEYEAH!!! Okay, so I had Blast pizza in Roseville during a YEE. And then this place opened in my hood. Ummmm… yeah baby! The concept is simple. It’s BYOP, unlimited toppings, and it’s ready within minutes. Sign me up for Weight Watchers(same shopping center, across the parking lot) cause mama wants a food baby. I love the wheat dough, and I love that I can but BBQ sauce on my pizza since my husband is weird and doesn’t like it. In addition to their pizza being a hot mess of whatever you want, the salads are also just the same. I mean, cut the calories from the crust and pile that bowl of lettuce to your hearts content. The side salad is only three, so be careful! And dressing, that yogurt one is awesome! Staff is great, they really have this assembly line of pizza making goodness down now since they first opened. They’re incredibly patient with you since I like more cheese on my toppings(cause you know… it’s «free» extra cheese) and then more toppings on top of that. Yea, that’s how I roll.

Our first time today at Blast 825 Pizza. Yay! Finally, coming to Elk Grove, build your own pizza, love the newest trend on build your own everything now. They don’t have the sign about free drink with Unilocal check in, just ask about it while you are paying for your pizza and they still doing it too. Long lines for pizza tonight, I need to used restroom and I found bogo coupon in the restroom that we used tonight for our pizza, good deal. Don’t forget to try their house homemade ranch, it’s creamy and really good, they charge $ .50 for it though, but it’s worth it. Will come back for sure and there are plenty of parking, since it’s located behind Smash Burger and next door to Jack’s urban eats.

Another Chipotle concept restaurant but with pizza. Sounds like Pieology, but maybe better. I came here today for lunch. From all of the pictures, it seems like the same as Pieology, but hey it may taste different. It sure did. As we walked in, we were greeted by their oh so kind team members. She asked if we had any questions and we did not, because we understood kind of how it worked. This is how it works: 1. you choose the type of DOUGH you want: original, wheat, or gluten free(additional $ 2) 2. choose your SAUCE: Marinara, white sauce, olive oil, BBQ, and pesto 3. choose your CHEESE: blast blend, mozzarella, feta, gorgonzola, and non-dairy cheese($ 0.50 for extra cheese) 4. choose UNLIMITED toppings: chicken, ham, spicy pepperoni, Italian salami, crumbled meatball, sausage, smoked bacon, and linguica and vegetable toppings… They also have their favorite pizzas if you’re unable to decide on your own. what I ordered: wheat dough, olive oil, marinara, white sauce, mozzarella cheese, chicken, spicy pepperoni, with mushrooms, and jalapeño. What it tasted like: Nothing. The crust was so dark, actually close to burnt. I couldn’t taste the marinara or any sauce on the pizza at all. everything else was ok. I’m not going to say I won’t return, because maybe I will. it wasn’t terrible but I can honestly say that I’ve had better.

Woohoo! Chipotle-style pizzeria has arrived to Elk Grove finally, because what else hasn’t opened in Elk Grove lately… well, I’m not mad. I had great experiences at Pieology and Blaze, so I expected equal greatness. Maybe I had too high of expectations though. We arrived on grand opening night to an empty store. More people trickled in later. We looked at their menu(tiny flyers placed up front under the TVs, don’t miss it) until a very happy employee came over and explained to us how it works, his favorite pizza combos, and then he emphasized how we need to ask for extra meat. Okay okay, extra meat I got it. Moving on to the line — I decided to go healthy with whole wheat crust. I didn’t think I would taste it much since I had so many toppings, but after a while it just tasted like cardboard… and whenever I tried to grab a slice, it would break into pieces, which could be the oven to blame, not the crust, but who knows. For toppings, I chose my usual: red bell pepper, artichoke, meatball, bacon, chicken, and caramelized onion. But it just all tasted a little meh compared to past experiences. I showed my Unilocal check-in to get a free lemonade, as shown clearly on their giant tv screens when you walk in, and the cashier was just completely clueless. Someone told her it was one of the discounts so she moved on and decided to yell at someone(calling them by Meatball, interesting) for a hair tie then proceeded to tie up her hair while we waited awkwardly to pay… I hope she doesn’t plan on making anybody’s pizzas… Other than that, the other staff members were nice and checked on us multiple times. Not the best experience, but not the worst. Maybe I should try their regular crust? Maybe I should choose different toppings? Maybe workers should be more professional considering they’re trying to win over the already over-populated restaurant industry in Elk Grove? Well, whatever it was, I hate to be the person to give a 3 star review. But I’m completely open to going back and updating my review at least!

My 12th Grand Opening review! Finally! Blast 825 Pizza is officially arrived in the city of Elk Grove, and I’m very happy and satisfied about it! After coming to two Blast 825 locations(Roseville & Rocklin,) Elk Grove is definitely the newest & the best addition choice to welcome Sacramento residents. As I entered, the atmosphere is very friendly and warming. The concept remains the same, yet it’s small inside compared to the Rocklin location. Surprisingly, they also have a mini outdoor patio, so you can dine outside in a natural sunlight! A great addition! The employees are doing a great job for making the customers like me a welcoming pleasures. No cons at all! I started ordered a BYO pizza which cost less than $ 8 by starting with a choice of dough(plain, wheat, gluten free.) Then, you can choose any unlimited topping like marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, smoked ham, red & green bell peppers, roasted chicken, fresh red onions, spinach, black olives etc. Finally, you can add it with a soft drink, beer, water or lemonade for a drink if you’re getting thirsty. After my BYO creation cooked completely in less than 5 minutes of stove hotness, that pizza is totally delicious! The ingredients did worked the notch as I take a first slice bite. Very good pizza in a fashionable matter! There’s also have BYO salads too, so you can enjoy creating your own interesting salads in no time! There’s plenty of parking spaces available, so you can park anywhere you want near or far. In the end, Blast 825 Pizza in Elk Grove is the greatest blastin’ pizza place that I’ve ever enjoyed eating amazing BYO pizzas or salads! Perfect for lunch breaks with your friends, co-workers, and your family too! My rating: 4 solid stars!
