Huh this coffee is kind of on the expensive side. I wanted to try something new besides Starbucks but I’m not too impressed. Maybe because I got sugar free chocolate syrup in the coffee. It kind of has this alcohol taste to it. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re okay with that. On the plus side they do have decaf iced coffee here unlike ‘bucks. Still $ 4.40 for a medium iced coffee with syrup? Sheeit I’m not made of money.

The coffee is good but in a carafe– the staff is friendly, definitely needs to be updated as its a bit on the haggard side. Regardless of that, I’ve enjoyed some chill time here for sure.

It has been years since I’ve been at its a grind. I thought this morning I would go in and try something different than Starbucks. I was here at 6:15 a.m. it was greeted by a young lady at the counter. I asked about different flavors of coffee from a mild Rose to a bold roast. She said I was welcome to sample any of the coffees. I ordered a small coffee in a pumpkin muffin and sampled a couple of different types of coffee. I settled on the mild and off I went. The coffee is OK the muffin was a pumpkin muffin with cream cheese? Nothing special about either one. The muffin was very dense in a little bit dry. The counter with their sweet treats like muffins and danishes is very sparse and not very appealing. If I’m in a pinch I will stop in again other than that I’m moving on to the next coffee shop!

A friend turned me on to this place a few months ago. I had passed by it for years and never stopped in. I have to say I am a fan. They have a small, but nice bakery selection. Staff is always super friendly and it has a cozy vibe inside. It’s my new fave place to get a bagel and have an iced tea on the weekends!

The Best Friend and I both LOVE this place! He loves that they have fruity things to sweeten their tea with. I love that they have some more exotic flavors of coffee. Everyone that works here is always friendly and helpful. The baristas love to chat while making your drinks. The vibe is chill. I never really see this place busy though, which is great for us but not them so much.

Tried the Iced White Chocolate Mocha which was good although it was a tad bit too sweet. But after letting the ice melt for awhile, it wasn’t as sweet! The normal mocha will definitely be more suitable for people who prefer their coffee less sweet as you can really taste the chocolate in it :) The regular size for iced drinks are as big as a large at starbucks, which is definitely a plus point!

I am in this shopping center literally all the time because of the stores that are in it and I always mean to stop by and give this place a try. I did for the first time about a week ago and have been back twice since. It’s delicious. The first time I got a soy mocha and the guy who made it was named Blake and he literally made the most delicious mocha I have ever had. Ever. He paid very careful attention to the way he made it and the soy milk the place uses is very yummy. Random but I also love the ice. So good. Five stars. The next two times I got the watermelon iced tea and I am officially addicted. Beyond delicious.

The girls at the register are really nice. The place is small and cozy. I got a Java blended drink that has chocolate covered espresso beans blended in and it was so good! My drink was $ 5.45 for a regular size which actually was bigger than I thought. I personally should’ve gotten a small. I personally wish they had couches to lounge and read on but the place has big chairs and some wooden chairs. I’m just but hurt cuz I didn’t get a comfy seat ;-(

My roommates, my bf and I all love this place. Over summer my bf and I would make it a habit to come here because after a couple times one of the baristas(I don’t know his name but he’s awesome). He always knows our specific iced coffee orders and starts to make them when we come in! Overall great place and the employees have really good customer service :)

I’m not a fan. I’ve been looking for my next favorite coffee shop and wanted to try this place because of the reviews; but unfortunately, I cannot give them more than 2 stars. — They were really slow. There were 3 people ahead of me and I waited almost 10 minutes before my order was taken(and another 10 – 15 minutes for my coffee)!! — I thought their customer service was below average. They weren’t very friendly nor did they acknowledge the long wait. And there was a line building up. Additionally, I asked the person taking my order which hot drink they would recommend and their response was, «I don’t know, it’s up to you.» No effort. — I ordered a cappuccino and it was just ok. It seemed a bit flat to me. Had the coffee been worth the wait, I would’ve given them better ratings. There’s free wifi, plenty of seats, and in a great location… so I do see the potential. Unfortunately, they just didn’t do it for me today.

I love this place! First time there and they helped and suggested the most amazing drinks. Very friendly and caring staff, great attitudes! The atmosphere is pretty awesome too, a little fire place with chairs around it! I think I just changed from a Starbucks loyal to its a grind!

This was my first time trying this place even though i don’t live too far from here. The baristas were friendly and greeted us once we walked in and answered any questions that we had. I LOVE iced coffee so of course i ordered the biggest size, a 32oz lol. I had a 32oz iced nutty cow and it was yummy! You get a lot for your money here at this place! I like how they walk to you and hand you the drinks instead of calling out the name of the drink or your name at the counter. I’ll be back to buy more coffee soon :)

I wanted to try a different coffee shop than my usual Starbucks… so I ended up at It’s A Grind! They have been located here in the Kohl’s shopping center for quite a while, but I have never actually gone in. It’s a pretty small shop, but plenty of seating. Their menu has plenty of drinks… iced, blended, hot, fruity… At first glance, it looks expensive. A large drink for $ 6?! But then I looked over at the counter… the cup sizes seem larger than Starbucks, but not sure if it’s an illusion. I had my eye on the mango-green tea smoothie… but instead I went for an iced chai tea latte. The medium size was almost the size of a Starbucks venti, for only $ 4 and some change. I was also able to substitute the milk with soy milk! It tasted great also. On top of that, they don’t load your cup full of ice like other coffee shops. Definite plus in my book!

With so many coffee options this is a cool little spot in elk Grove. They have a good selection and the lines are not too long. Thw baristas are friendly. I did tey there breakfast burrito which taste pretty authentic, but I asked fir bacon and they gave me sausage. I guess they don’t know that everybody loves bacon. Giving me sausage instead of bacon would be like not giving me meay at all. The one mistake aside it was a nice overall experience without the 15 minute chain wait for coffee.

Super friendly baristas, but didn’t love the New Orleans coffee I got — could have done without the maple syrup. My boyfriend didn’t love his iced coffee either. Cool décor though and different kinds of coffee.

Bummer… I love It’s a Grind products, but this location has really gone downhill. I worked at this store about 9 years ago when I was in high school, and the owners at the time were always really meticulous and instilled the fact that each drink needs to be made with care. Yesterday I went in around 3:00 and decided to splurge and buy my sister and I a coconut crunch blended drink and it was just awful. It was obvious the woman at the register was new, which is fine, we weren’t in a hurry… But the man who made our drink was obviously in a hurry and just wanted to make the drinks as fast as possible. When the man basically«tossed» his drink at me over the counter, I noticed that our drink had at least 4 ingredients missing, including the chocolate mix, chocolate drizzle, and toasted coconut on the bottom/top.and who knows what else. $ 5 for a watered down caramel frappé, tight. This seems to be the norm norm here. Every time I come in to this location the drip coffee is on colder side, and the workers are more absorbed with their conversations rather than their customers. I love It’s a Grind, but at least at Starbucks, their mediocre products are consistent…

The Place: is nice. It looks like most other It’s A Grind locations I’ve been to. I can definitely attest to the fact that their chairs are EXTREMELY comfortable! Ha; and I realize that this is a fact that would never change the face of the company, but DANG.. . I really liked the chairs. The Service: was interesting. The barista behind the bar seemed either destracted or new, because I had to repeat myself several times before any actual action was taken. My Hazelnut Latte came out quick and hot, however, so no complaints! The Food: I have no idea! But I really enjoyed my latte. =]

This place is a great spot when you’re trying to escape from the grips of Starbucks… the staff is ultra friendly and helpful, the drinks are well made, the coffee selection is vast, and they offer a lot of different twists on espresso drinks compared to other coffee houses. The seating area is limited, but overall the place has a good vibe…

Met a friend to discuss girl scout business. I ordered a regular tuxedo and she got a caramel latte. Both were very good. Took about 15 mins to get our drinks. Seating is limited. There’s 2 tables with 4 chairs at each table then there’s about four comfy chairs around a coffee table. There is outside seating and free wifi
