McDonalds advertise 2 for $ 2.00… It’s a joke. Bait and switch is what I told corporate and the area manager. This location does not even have any advertisement showing the price. No menu even. I took on corporate and the manager the very same day the pick 2 for $ 2.00 came out. The store shift supervisor did not even know about the $ 2.00 price tag. Corporate and the area manager said that the individual locations set their own prices. They do not have to even offer anything coperate advertises. When I talked to the area manager he could care less about the situation. All he was interested in was opening his new location on Sheldon Road and Highway 99. There they have a menu showing the actual prices. But this location is and has gone downhill.
One good note… In the field next to McDonalds there is going to be a AM/​PM gas station to be built along with a Taco Bell. It will be located at the exit of Wal-​Mart going to Whitelock Road. Some competition finally. Maybe this McDonald’s will get their act together. In the mean time… boycott this location.

Had to give this burger joint one star in order to post. As far as I am concerned I would give it negative stars!!!
I just got off the phone with the shift manager. (3:50pm) I called to confirm that they do have the «McPick2 for 2 dollars. THEY DO NOT!!! The manager said that they charge $ 2.50 despite the t.v. advertisement and their website and she thought that the McPick2 was for Sacramento. WOW…
I will be contacting the Department on Consumer Affairs about this BLATANT Bait & Switch and I suggest others to do the same!!!

Came here 2 weeks ago after going to Walmart, guy at the payment acceptance drive-​thru window couldn’t care less.
Went a week later, again after Walmart, girl are payment acceptance drive-​thru couldn’t care less; more than the first guy.
And you want $ 15.00 an hour? The people at the dispensary don’t even make that, and they sell weed.
Lighten up or find another after school job.

This location has horrible staff, slow and un-​responsive. Continually screw up orders and cause a customer to come back to fix order. Also, don’t try using the McDonald’s app at all as they don’t accept it. Shame on this franchise to not accept marketing from HQ to bring them customers. I will never come back to this McDonald’s.

Just visited and the cashier did not look interested in being there at all. He didn’t greet us and didn’t smile one bit. Once we got our order, just a side of fries, it was almost as if half the fries were spilled all over the tray. We expected it to-​go, but we remembered the cashier didn’t even ask us if we wanted to eat there or to-​go. So we asked for a bag to put it in, and there were a couple of workers right there too aside from the cashier, but they were too busy to even grab a bag. Those workers made a quick glance over but didn’t even bother to even acknowledge us, and the cashier didn’t even acknowledge our question as soon as we saw our order and asked for a bag right away. The cashier came back with our bag and just kind of watched us as we picked up the stray fries to put into the bag… it was almost degrading. When we got our fries, some of them tasted soggy and undercooked. They were just warm – not the hot fries I was used to getting at other McDonald’s. Not sure if I would come back here based on poor customer service I received.
Nice décor, though. At least you guys got that right.

By far the worst experience ever. The girl at the register has no sense of customer service, gave me attitude, and didn’t even know how to smile. I felt like I was being a bother just by ordering. The manager wasn’t that great either. I usually go through the drive through because I’m in a rush but this time I went inside and I don’t think I’ll ever want to go inside again. It’d be rude to say it’s better to fire the girl at the register but at least tell her to smile and give some good service. Overall, never again will I be coming here.

Typical mcdonalds food. But that’s why we go there. Grandkids love it. It is close to home. Consistent and I must say usually always hot. Which is important. employees always pleasant.

On Friday, 05/​29/​2015 at Approx. 1347 Hrs. Approx. 50 High School and Middle School young adults disturbed several customers peace. The McDonald’s Manager feared for the safety of the people inside and locked the doors; preventing the young adults from entering the McDonald’s. The police were not notified. Some young adults formed a line blocking vehicles from entering the drive thru. Some young adults were hanging from the light posts. Some threatened adults with young children. A customer was even assaulted with a soda. My concern is while this nuisance was occurring why didn’t someone with a cell phone or even the manager notify Elk Grove Police Department to report a threat. I observed the young adults gathering and blocking the vehicles. I didn’t know about the threat until a witness outside with a young child informed me. I’m disappointed the Manager didn’t go further and notify the police. I don’t know: But If I was the manager and I locked the doors at 1345 Hrs. I would have called the police and informed the EGPD. Okay, so this place WAS an awesome McDonald’s establishment… until recent.
A new place near a newish community. High schools, and a middle school around it, along with a library. So it was a great location for a McDonalds. HOWEVER!!! The place has gotten progressively worse. First off, the positive. The place is clean. More upscale and stuffs. That’s all the positive.
Now, the negatives… staff. They are not attentive at all. Almost every time I have ordered, they have gotten something wrong. Missing sauce, missing fries, confusing orders etc. The staff isn’t the nicest either. One acted like she didn’t even want to work there. Even at one point, they were cleaning up as if they were closed, but they didn’t close for another hour. Me and some friends went there an hour before they closed and they were all ready to close. Then, the staff decided to approach us every 10 – 15 minutes to remind us what time they close. We know what time they close. Horrible staff.
Food could be better. I have gotten cold fries and food before. When we order a large fries, we expect large fries. Not a half-​filled large fries.
All in all… yeah no. There’s 2 – 3 other McDonalds close by I would go to instead. 1 star.

Went through the drive thru about 10 PM last night. Nobody else in line. They were slow and the young people working were having more fun amongst themselves. More than minimum wage, I don’t think so.

I pulled up to the drive thru on new years eve (12/​31/​2014) at around 7pm. You’d think they’d be open at that time. Who closes at 7? Even on new years, for a fast food place to close that early is ridiculous. Even with that aside, they didnt bother to mention it to the 6 cars in the drive thru that were left with no explanation. In fact the lights were on and people were inside of the store. Yet there were no employees taking drive thru orders. People were in their cars yelling «hello, any one there?» Then getting frustrated and just driving through and leaving, or backing out. There were several cars ahead of me and behind me, not being able to place an order. There was no explanation by employees, or a sign at the drive thru. I went to Carl’s JR instead. What a waste of time.

One of the cleanest McDonald’s I’ve been too. The staff is friendly and fast. When the local high schools get, this place can be a mad house. Stick to the drive through during those hours.

Horrible parking just park in Walmart and walk its healthy and easier

Been on the road for 11 hours & already close to home but we had to stop by here to get some food. The cashier at the drive thru was not friendly. AT ALL. She (Employee is named Samantha) did not say please or thank you. Had no smile on her face. Her tone of voice wasn’t even close to friendly. She talked fast & with attitude like she didn’t want to be there. I’ve been to this place a few times & never had a problem with customer service until tonight. If you’re gonna work with customers a lot, be friendly! Simple as that.

This mcdonalds is literally the WORST I have ever been too. Unfortunate because it is the closest to my house, but with an entire crew of new employees the drive thru is ridiculous. Today is the 2^nd time I have order a BACON buffalo ranch mc chicken and gotten the buffalo ranch mcchicken with no bacon. Usually wouldn’t bother me except that it costs an extra $ 1.50 for the bacon so if I pay for it I expect to get it. Next time I will be sure to double check my order before leaving because they can’t seem to get it right.

Probably one of the nicer mcds ive been to. Location is super convienent as well. It has the newer café type design rather than the east oakland its easier to clean projectile vomiting off everything design.
It also seems like they updated there staff. Everyone here is super friendly, young, and appears to be on a subway diet/​not morbidly obese.
All in all good job mickey dees.

If I could choose which McDonald’s to go to for the rest of my life, this one would be it. Everything was immaculate and the service was fast. My chicken nuggets and fries were fried fresh and crispy. This location is one of the more modern café-​like branches so it’s a nicer fast food place to eat in. There’s also two drive-​thru windows for faster service.
