Subway

I came in tonight with my family and a young man greeted me. He was very polite and his coworker helped as well. They were fast and did a very great job! I would recommend this store as well as these two employees to everyone. Thank you!

What can I say…
Marie not only made the 3 sandwiches and chopped salad that I ordered all by herself, she also made my day. She greeted me as I came thru the door. She asked for my order and I only had to say it once because she actually listened to my answer. She made each sandwich quickly and flawlessly. I wish every employee could conduct themselves the way this young lady does. I shall return to this Subway restaurant again soon, and when I do I hope to see her smiling face standing behind the counter. Perhaps as a manager training more mini Marie’s.

What a awesome and kicked back Subway !!! I call it the best in Elk Grove here at 8145 Elk Grove Blvd ! Marie was my sandwich maker and she did an outstanding job on hooking up the sandwich with jalapeño’s !!! Excited to say that I get to go back to work from my lunch break with a huge smile on my face and a burning mouth from the extra jalapeño’s in which I love soooo much !!! My 5 star review goes to Marie for her outstanding and stellar 5 star service and sandwich making skills !!! Way to go Marie !!!

Just got back from picking up our order, and the website stated that they had prime rib and pepsi but upon requesting it. They said they didn’t have either. Needless to say i was greatly disappointed. get it together subway!

I’ve been to this Subway plenty of times for lunch because it’s so close to work. But if it weren’t for that, I wouldn’t come here. The young girl Marie is nice and Always greets us. And I really didn’t want to write a review. But the guy Nadir is rude. Every time me and my coworker goes in for lunch, he never greets, and looks all bitter helping us. My coworker always asks for extra olives and he would put 4 in at most on her foot long. He even told her that he’s going to charge her extra next time. We don’t mind paying the extra, but don’t be rude about it. We love to use the coupons that prints on the receipt for next time and he would intentionally toss our receipts. And when we ask for it, he would reprint another one which doesn’t give you a coupon. We used to get this young lady that helped us too, she greets, but it doesn’t sound genuine and she behaves the same way as the manager, like she doesn’t want to serve you. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were related. There used to be these 2 guys that helps us, what ever happened to them? They are always welcoming and does our sandwiches quick.

I can’t say enough good things about this location! Nadir is usually working during lunch and he always greets everyone with a friendly hello and a big smile. My sandwich is made perfectly every time and it’s done quickly. This is definitely my go-​to lunch spot!

WORST SUBWAY EVER. (And I hope the manager reads this)
Seriously, don’t ever even think about coming to this subway– they’re the definition of horrible customer service. I’ve only came in here about 3 times, and the manager being there twice. Surprisingly, customer service is worse when he manager (Nadir) is there! He is absolutely cheap! The young lady making my sandwich was doing a fine job, then he starts yelling at her for putting more than 8 olives on my FOOTLONG. I asked for extra olives and he said to go to the store and buy olives and place it on my sandwich myself. Never again. Never.

The past 2 times I’ve been here the service has been slow. It shouldn’t take 10 mins to make sandwiches especially when you’re the only customer in the store. The first time I went the employee was obviously in a bad mood and didn’t bother to conceal it. He spoke slow and quietly as you could tell from his actions he didn’t want to be there. Today I went and the guy was your average worker, but he forgot the avocado in my turkey bacon and avocado sandwich… As I was starting to pay I realized he didn’t put in any so I had to tell him that he forgot to add the avocado. Overall this location is really lacking good, quality workers.

No customer service and bathrooms dirty. Nadir was putting cheese on bread to be baked when we walked in and he didn’t stop to help us. We times it, stood there for 3 minutes and stared at him putting his cheese on. Glad he didn’t have move to do. Won’t be back.

The woman making my friends sandwich did an awful job. She didn’t seem to know what she was doing at all. She literally threw everything together and wrapped it FACE OPEN. Once my friend got the sandwich all it was was a soggy mess. Awful subway.

Worst subway I have ever been to! Not only is the service slow but I was made to wait to order at least 5 minutes maybe longer while the manager and an employee were talking and discussing inventory. Hello, line forming! More training is needed for employees putting together sandwiches and salads for sure! DO NOT use the bathroom unless you have to go really bad. It’s disgustingly filthy! Definitely won’t be returning!

I would give no stars if I could. I tried calling this particular to ask just 2 questions: were they taking the special ad in the paper (some don’t.) I also wanted to ask if they had provolone since the menu site says some stores carry it and others don’t. I GOT AN ANSWERING MACHINE ASKING ME TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. And, yes, I checked their number and tried dialing again. Guess I will get my family’s sandwiches, etc elsewhere.

We’ve gone to this Subway for years and they give a MILITARY DISCOUNT of 10%. Everybody here actually cares about customer service and they are always friendly and it’s always a pleasure seeing the people who work there.

Horrible service. The girl working the counter thought she was being professional but she was nasty nice with a lot of stank in her voice. Manager was downright rude.
Service was extremely slow. Staff is very inconsistent with rules. The rules are very different in the evening when the manager isn’t there.

Worst experience ever! I went there today with my husband to get a bite to eat, TOTALLY regret it. The woman who helped us was very rude and she kept rolling her eyes what the heck? If you can’t handle customers stop working in customer service. She rushed while making the sandwiches, she was sloppy and she forgot to toast them. She didn’t ofter salt/​pepper/​vinegar and when I asked her to she rolled her eyes and only put pepper. Wow, never go there.

Worse subway service. I went there today and ordered 2 sandwiches. The girl who made our sandwiches was rude and not friendly. She rushed on our sandwiches, barely put any cheese on our sandwiches and yes usually subway doesn’t give much of anything but she gave us nothing and when we asked for a little more cheese she gave us a look. She didn’t offer salt/​vinegar/​pepper. All subways I have been to always offer it to us. There was no one else in line just me and my bf. The sandwiches weren’t hard to make. She was just really rude and had an attitude. Never going here again.

Yes, it’s a chain but this particular location is a very efficient Subway. The staff was friendly and moved the line along quickly. The veggies were all fresh and they did a great job on our lunch. The location is an easy stop off EG blvd.

Food is good just like every other subway but Joyce in particular is extremely rude. Doesn’t acknowledge you when you walk in right past her and tries to rush you when deciding on what you want. Most annoying subway I’ve been to when Joyce is there
UPDATE: Went in today and one of the «employees» was wearing a beach tank top, backwards baseball cap, no name tag, and socks with marijuana leaves on them. VERY unprofessional and embarrassing for the owner here. Where else do you go and see this type of attire at work? Nowhere.

I went here today to get a quick sandwich. I only had a few minutes and there were only 2 customers being helped and 2 employees working.
I don’t know what happened but the workers seemed to be taking their time. I was in there over 10 minutes and couldn’t believe it! My lunch time is only 35 min and these workers didn’t even say hello or I will be with you.
I just left! Will not go there ever again !

This is probably the best subway in the area.
The service is fantastic… And they get your sandwich right. I love how when I open the paper wrapping, the sandwich is still intact and the ingredients aren’t falling everywhere. If you like avocado, the lady there is such a pro spooning it out on your sandwich.
I always order a flatbread sandwich with chicken… delish.
5 stars for being the best subway ever!
