Went in tonight for a family size and 2 mini murphys for the kids. Mini murphys were sold out which saddened my 5 year old. While she tried to keep it together, she just couldn’t do it after a long, hot 105 degree day. Moriah (I think is the spelling of her name) was super and quick thinking, selling me a small size pizza with all the pizza-​makings on the side so my daughter could build her own at home. She even threw in the tattoos that normally come in the box. I have always had good service and experiences with this location, but this particular employee went above and beyond and it won’t be forgotten.

Air conditioner was broken and although the employees were uncomfortable they were still extremely nice to customers. The owner should consider giving these folks a bonus. They are keepers!

Never had any major issues with this location the few times we’ve ordered from here until tonight. Found dirt and hair in our pizza that looks like it came out of a drain. So the pizza is in the trash, and we won’t be returning to this location.
Consistency is a problem at this store, but I figured it was just because we were using coupons. No need to worry about that now I guess!

So, I’m not one to complain usually, but this was just plain gross and frustrating. I ordered a family size cowboy pizza. Another customer brings back his family size thin crust cowboy pizza saying it’s not the pizza he ordered. They happily take the pizza back and say they’ll make him the correct pizza right away. i wasn’t paying a ton of attention so when. My name was called about 2 minutes later I thought nothing of it, until I got home and have a thin crust cowboy pizza with large finger indents on one side. A. Gross B. Not the pizza I ordered C. Health code violation.
Pizza ordered at about 5pm on 4÷2÷15 for anyone wondering.

I am a big Fan of the Papa Murphy’s concept and have enjoyed many pizza’s from many locations. This particular Papa Murphy’s is the exception though. They are not managed well at all!!! The quality of the product is not what you would see out of a typical Papa Murphy’s franchise. I does not seem that they follow or adhere to the core values of the company. Which is to bad, because if this is the only one that you have ever been to, you would say «I would never go back or recommend this establishment to anyone». Management needs to take a hard look at how this particular location is run. Pizza’s are never made right or they are very poorly done. It seems to me that the employees put no pride into providing quality product to the customer.

Yummy take-​n-​bake pizza. I’ve been here a few times and have always gotten the correct order and it’s always tasted fresh. Employees are very nice… I just find it hard to pay the same price for this as an already cooked and ready pizza.

Very upset the manager or owner can’t take the time to call me back. I signed up on line for the e-​deal. Buy one get one half off. I called and asked if they could scan the deal off my phone. They said no it had to be printed off. Ok… I ordered the two pizzas. Went home and printed off the deal. My hubby went in to get the pizzas but thought I had already paid for them and given them the coupon. He paid full price, came home and went right back within 10 minutes with the coupon and the employees couldn’t unwind the deal or refund the difference. I called and spoke to Armando and he just kept repeating their policy like I didn’t hear him the first three times. I gave him my name and telephone number and asked that the manager call me. It has been a week and no call!!! Same on you … I will never return! Very unprofessional way to run a business.

I’ll agree, they don’t load up the pizzas as much as other locations. My go-​to, a large Gourmet Veg w/​grilled chicken on top, wasn’t as thick and piled on w/​veggies and cheese as I’m used to but it still tasted great. If you’re whining about an extra 500 calories they shaved off your meal, maybe you need to reconsider your priorities.

I’ve been to this Papa Murphy’s many times before but I never realized how much they skimp on the portions.
We ordered the Stuffed Chicken Bacon Pizza. After we got it, it looked sad. It looked more like a regular pizza or maybe a little thicker crust… but it was definitely not «stuffed.» I do not regret saying that I will not be coming back here. There was not enough stuffing! I don’t know if I have been spoiled by other Papa Murphy’s who just pack it all in and when I take’n’bake out the door my arm hurts from carry it all. This was nothing… I frown at you Elk Grove Papa Murphy’s. I frown at you.

This is the first Papa Murphy’s I’ve ever been to. So I came in not really knowing what to expect. I didn’t know if they would have freezers w/​premade pizzas or what.
What I learned is this– You go to the front and order your pizza. The person taking your order has someone in the back bring the appropriate crust… then she proceeds to build your pizza w/​the toppings. The process is very much like how you would experience at Subway.
The service was quick. In and out in 5mins.
I ordered the chicken pesto, it was okay. Their cinnamon wheel is TO DIE!!! I’d keep coming just for this.
For the value and convenience I give them 4 stars.
