Several months ago our go to Chinese restaurant closed down. We have been searching for a new one since. I think we’ve found it.
We ordered the Hunan Beef, Lemon Chicken, Dry Braised Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, & Pork Chow Mein for about $ 45.
The sauces for the two chicken meals were very good and the Hunan Beef was just delicious. This will officially be my go-​to order from now on. I won’t care what anyone else gets, so long as that beef dish is getting ordered.
The food isn’t too spicy, but oh so good. This is a family owned and operated restaurant and the daughter who took my order was very nice.
¹⁰⁄₁₀ will definitely be returning.
They also offer Coca-​Cola fountain drinks.

Very good food and pleasant service. Nice atmosphere — with no florescent lights, thank goodness. Inexpensive. We had tempura vegetables appetizer — large portion and tasty — came with sweet & sour sauce. Hunan chicken and Spicy garlic beef both had excellent sauces and plenty of veggies too. I’d go here again!

seriously my favorite place to go and eat!!! The food is always fresh and never stingy on the portions! They always make amazing accommodations for my kids and Tracy knows us by name and is always amazing to us! Great food, great prices. amazing service!!!

Tried this Chinese restaurant when we first moved to the area. I wanted to give this place a try it is the closest Chinese place around. I was so disappointed. The only plus was they were friendly and nice. The stars are for the food, the quality was low, some of the food tasted like it came out of a can. Also some of the dishes the (meat) did not taste cleaned properly, there was a nasty after taste to every thing. We did not save any of the leftovers which there was a lot. We will not be going back. We will travel across town to our Chinese Restaurant we know is always delicious, fresh and no after taste.

First time stopping by and the food was really good. I had the chicken and broccoli for lunch. It came out hot and fresh. It also came with fried rice and a egg roll and the soup of the day. More than enough food for lunch. The service was fast and welcoming. All this for $ 6.95

Good friendly service! Food was good just wish they had containers that worked. If you know your food is going to spill out into the bag to where you even warn me… then you need new containers! The food is worth the trouble though!
Ps speaking of your containers there are two empty boxes outside your business that have a picture of the styrofoam to go boxes on it. People are throwing trash in it and it’s moldy!

I had a bad experience here many years ago but thought I’d give it a second chance. The portions were generous but I could not finish my meal after finding a long hair in my chow mein. The wontons were very chewy. To top it all off, my fortune cookie had no fortune inside. Don’t think I will be coming back here any time soon. I’ll stick with Peony Palace!

Best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been too, and by far the most amazing service you could get, the whole family staff makes the environment open and friendly and welcoming. Must have if your ever in elk grove. Highly recommended.

Had lunch here yesterday! While we grab takeout at the Red Chopstix once in a while, it had been at least a year since we sat down and had a meal there. We always like their takeout food but it is often a little cold by the time we get around to eating (our fault not the restaurants). As you would expect, the food was served at a perfect temperature and, in my opinion, it was delicious. We started with the house special won ton soup. The won ton were meaty with a nice consistency. There was also plenty of tasty shrimp, chicken, pork and vegetables. We ordered the large bowl which was huge — but we finished it all. It was cold outside yesterday and the soup was the best comfort food imaginable. We also enjoyed an order of chicken with double mushrooms. The chicken was sautéed with a least three different mushroom varieties in a black bean sauce. Spiced perfectly, nicely presented and very, very good. The wait staff was quick and attentive. While I normally don’t go to a Chinese restaurant to drink wine, the house wines (cabernet & chardonnay) were really OK.

This place is the bomb the staff is awesome and friendly even on a holiday!!! Food is absolutely amazing too. Great place to go in elk Grove

Tried this place on a last minute whim and I have absolutely no regrets. The food all came out hot and in a timely manner. The waitress was pleasant and very helpful in getting us everything we needed. The food was delicious and I will definitely be coming back again.

Awesome. I literally just got home less than 25 mins ago … Everything I ordered for the fam is gone. Like gone. We scarfed it down, and I don’t feel the least bit guilty. I had no other choice the smell of the food, on the way home turned me into a ravenous wolf! I could barely stand it. So if you want to know if the food was good … Clearly you haven’t been reading correctly. Will be back … And soon.

Good food, portions not too small, not oily and doesn’t taste like other Chinese restaurants which tend to taste the same as others. Very got service. Best service I had at a Chinese restaurant. Would definitely make the trip to this side of Elk Grove for Chinese food another day. Next time will take photos. Egg rolls very good, mandarin spicy chicken good I just wish spicier. For me I prefer it spicy. Rice excellent.

This place was absolutely amazing the food is very good and the service is great, I was drinking water like crazy literally had about 10 cups of water and there were on top of it. The prices aren’t to bad either, I would highly recommend for people to come here.

The service was so good, I felt guilty for forcing my waiter to say «no.» To be fair, asking for our popo tray to count as an appetizer for the combo was pretty chutzpah of me. Can’t wait to come back for Jewish Christmas and get some more amazingness!

This place is amazing. Awesome service & great tasting food! I can honestly say this is the best Chinese food I’ve had in Sac/​EG. There is flavor in each & every bite.
We ordered Mongolian Beef which included steamed rice, I really liked that it was included, Chicken Chow Mein & we also ordered Pot Stickers for appetizers. Once again, everything was great. Will definitely be coming back! New favorite Chinese restaurant!

My son had the sweet and sour shrimp I had the mandarin chicken such big helpings we went home with lunch! Each entrée comes with rice we had fried rice, chow mein, egg roll, soup of the day and whatever entrée you like. This was a good place for some good Chinese definitely coming back soon.
