Biked here this morning specifically to try Vicky’s Crêpe Café. BUT, there was a sign on the glass front door: «Closed for Training». What does that mean? Training on how to run a restaurant? Training on How to make a Crêpe? Or is it restaurant lingo for… «Closed for Business». The way the temporary sign is hanging, it’s probably the latter option… There was a lady waiting for the restaurant to open also… she stated that this specific strip mall has not had good luck in keeping restaurants open. She pointed to the, now closed, Buffalo Wings & Rings( ) as an example.

Hello, I have tried Vicky’s several times to ensure I gave a fair review. They are a new restaurant so this disappointing rating hopefully is because they are working out the kinks. I had their Peach crêpe and it was pretty good. I would go there for the peach crêpe again. I also had their pesto chicken crêpe & it wasn’t so good. It tasted like there was WAY too much salt. I understand and know pesto is a little salty but this was taken to the extreme. The last time I went I decided on a sandwich(since the last crêpe experience wasn’t good) I chose the crispy chicken sandwich on wheat. Let me start off by stating the price $ 6.95+tax and all I got was a sandwich that I could have made at home better for less. It tasted like very low quality chicken lots & lots of gelatinous fat that I was biting into it. This was very disgusting. Also for the price I expected more food. It was sliced bread(orowheat kinda bread u get from market) When the cashier gave me my to-go order I had to open the carton to ensure something was in it.(Don’t believe me? Go test for yourself) If you want a sandwich go down the street and get a togo’s Large pastrami for the same price $ 6.99+tax or togo’s has half sandwich half salad deal for $ 6.29. All in all I wasted my money in this establishment but the ladies in there were nice and the peach crêpe was good.
