Taco John’s

Went back for the first time in nearly a year because they always mess up my order and big suprise they once again sent me away with the wrong food. It is almost funny how bad the staff at this location is. I love Taco John’s food but this location’s customer service is so bad I always regret going there.
Yea, now I get to go back to work hungry, thanks Taco John’s!

I love taco bravos. Their pepper bar is very fun. I dont think I have waited more than 3 minutes to get my order. Hot fresh and fast.

Pretty awesome food, i prefer it over Taco bell. Also service is great and every time I go in the same employee Laura is there and she is always so helpful and has a great smile on her face, even with how indecisive I can be she always tries to help and is very patient.

Ate there today. After. I saw the cook. She was on her phone texting while making food, with no gloves on. Nasty! This must be a health violation. Will not go back there again.

I never had tacos from taco johns before so I gave it a shot. I was told to get the 6 pack & a lb, so I did. The wait was horrible. For 6 tacos and 2 containers of potatoes, it took 11 minutes. With the negative, does come a positive. The tacos were excellent and oles were pretty good. I will defiantly give it another shot.

I love Taco Johns and I worked at one down in Mankato, MN and the food was always fresh and delicious. My fiancé and I have stopped at this location a few times on the way to our cabin up north and I have to say I AM NOT IMPRESSED. The beans on my taco bravo were hardly spread on my softshell and the hard shell on the inside was soo stale! My fiancé agreed his hardshells were stale as well. Lastly, I had a churro because that is my all time favorite dessert at Taco Johns. Hardly ANY sugar! I was a manager and I know how the store works as I worked at one for 6 years. Come on guys — please improve or we will not be stopping here again no matter how much we are craving this.

This taco johns is horrible. Kids that work there walking around talking, eating. They have 10 people there yet it takes those 10 people 10 minutes to make a burrito. You’d figure on taco Tuesdays they’d have everything ready to go seeing they’re going to sell a lot of tacos but it still takes them forever. Forget about drive thru, you’ll fall asleep of boredom waiting, waiting, and doing some more waiting. I only get a 30 minute lunch and it sucks I have to be worried about being late waiting for my food and the place shares the same parking lot.

It’s pretty awesome that Taco John’s is open for breakfast. Heck, it’s even cooler that we even have any of them here in the metro area. I guess Elk River is a bit of a stretch for the ‘metro area’, but it was useful when my parents took me to the Elk River train station yesterday morning and I needed breakfast. :)
Again, the fact that they are even open for breakfast gives them some mega points. I’m a Taco Bell girl at heart, but anything taco-​related is better than breakfast food in the wee hours of the morning. I’ll eat breakfast for dinner, no problem, but when I wake up in the mornings, I want a burrito, dang it!
It would be nice if they (among other fast food places) offered the full menu at breakfast. I think fast food restaurants would make TONS of money if they had fries and burgers available at 7am. This Taco John’s had breakfast burrito type items, many of which were stuffed with Potato Oles. I ordered some potatoes for the road, and we headed off to the train station.
I have to say — if you are going to make me wait five minutes for my potatoes, Taco John’s, at least have the decency to make them fresh! They were warm at best. :/​Other than that, keep up the good breakfasty and tacoy work.
